I'm feeling sad that my entire immediate family will be together in South Carolina but we won't be there. It could be a long time before we will all be together for Christmas again.
We will be with my dad and with my inlaws.

We will be with my dad and with my inlaws. That is why I get sad too. It's just hubby & me down here. I did lose my Christmas spirit due to my "sweet" daughter. She just knows how to ruin any happiness I may be having at that moment. I really need daily reminders whenever I buy her something or do something special for her.

As long as we are speaking about Christmas related sadness, this year will be very different in my home on Christmas morning as we all will be missing my step-son. Him and I had so much in common so buying for him at Christmas was so easy and enjoyable. So many times already, I've seen things in the stores I knew he would love but didn't buy them because I know he won't be with us. Hubby is not dealing well with all of the Christmas "stuff" either, so it's been extra tough. I am so looking forward to having my oldest son home for the Christmas break just to have some normalcy in the house again.
I hope everyone that is missing someone this Christmas or having a hard time can somehow manage to find some peace and joy!

I bought myself a gift...does that count as shopping? Besides my adopt a families - I have done no shopping. My nieces and nephews just get cash. Gift cards for the inlaws..I say I'm pretty much done.
OH hubby...whatever...he can just buy himself a gift like I did.

We are going to do our shopping this weekend. We don't have that much to buy so it shouldn't be too bad. I have no clue what to get the kids. We bought them tablets but other than that I have no idea. I don't want to buy toys as they have too much stuff already.
