Oh, I am allergic to them too. I break out in a rash while I am decorating them. I am looking forward to the day when my kids are old enough that I trust them to hang all the breakable ornaments themselves.

I never had a real tree growing up. First one I had was a few years after I got married. I love them. They make the house smell so nice.

My daughter-in-law saw a tree like this on FB and she loves snowmen so here is what she made:

I haven't started decorating. It is still Thanksgiving in my mind. I tend not to put the trees up until later in the month. I did make something for someone...clearly not for me since it has green and traditional colors. LOL It is filled with crafty goodies.

slyn, that's beautiful!
Here we have our (fake, always fake, never real) tree decorated, a wreath on the front door, a few knicknacks on the mantel, our stockings hung on the wall by the fireplace, and most of my Christmas stuffed animals on the fireplace hearth. The girls love playing with them and a few of them play music too.

Very pretty slyn11. We haven't put up our tree yet. That requires displacing furniture in my family room and cleaning up the basement play area to get to the tree. I haven't had a lot of time to do either of those jobs.

Thanks everyone. I hope the recipient likes it. fluffysmom you said the C word. I have to do that to my foyer to put up my tree. Right now it looks like a warehouse. Tons of boxes filled with things for our adopt a family at work.

I have to rearrange the living room now to put up a tree. I have the treadmill right where we put the tree, so I have to find a new spot for the treadmill in order to put up the tree.
