Great story so far patch! You've really captured the banter and dialogue between Victor and Maggie quite beautifully. I feel as if I'm watching the show when I read your stories because I can actually envision every scene. Excellent job!!  |

Tuesday
Bo talks to Victor about Caroline.
Wednesday
Maggie has a surprise visitor who doesn’t approve of her and Victor.
Thursday
Victor and Maggie discuss their relationship, then pay Caroline a visit.
Friday
Victor tries to explain himself.

Just caught up. I'm with Kazz, Caroline doesn't sound like she's much worse than she's ever been. I hate those damn dressing gown thingies too! ;D It does get her off the hook though, so I'm all for it. Too bad no one knew BEFORE the reveal, tho Philip did try to tell them she was just a "crazy old lady"  Wonder who the surprise guest is going to be? :addictedrubbinghandstogether: |

It will be interesting to see how Caroline's Alzheimer's affects Victor and Victor & Maggie......I know Victor will want to help her....wouldn't it be something if Caroline thinks she's back in the past when she had an affair with Victor.....that certainly would put a strain on things...!!!!

KIRIAKIS MANSION, VICTOR’S STUDY
Victor: Maggie, I know you have an accountant for your business and a lawyer, and a tax advisor. You don’t need me putting in my two cents.
Maggie: Your two cents are more valuable than most.
Victor looks at Maggie intently. He catches her eye and she realizes he means business.
Maggie: Victor, you know that I’ve loved only one man my entire life ...
Victor: Yes, I'm aware of that.
Maggie: ... Until now.
Victor: Oh?
Maggie: You’re going to make me say it, aren’t you?
Victor: I certainly am.
Maggie: I love you Victor Kiriakis. There. I said it. Happy now?
Victor: I was hoping for something a little more heartfelt and a little less petulant. But yes. I’m happy now.
He takes a step toward her and she takes a step back.
Victor: You needn’t be afraid of me, Maggie.
Maggie: I’m ... I’m not afraid of you!
Victor: Good. Because frankly, I’m not sure what to do next.
Maggie: Excuse me?
Victor: While you've known how I feel about you for some time, I was a little unprepared for your profession of love and to be honest ...
Maggie: Go on. I like honesty.
Victor: To be honest ... dammit! I suppose we have to have a relationship and I've never been very good at that.
Maggie laughs.
Maggie: Whether you know it or not, Victor, we’ve been in a relationship for the past year. A somewhat unconventional one, but still. I think we may have passed the time for shyness.
Victor: Perhaps you have. But I haven’t. You see, as much as I would like to sweep you up in my arms and make love to you until sunrise, I’m not as young as I once was. And ... it’s been a while since I’ve been with a woman. So, even if you’re not afraid ... I am.
Maggie looks down and smiles. Then she looks Victor in the eye.
Maggie: I know that must have been a difficult thing for a man like you to admit. But it just makes me ...
Victor: Makes you what?
Maggie: It ... makes me ... love you more.
Victor smiles.
Victor: Well then, as they say in the movies, let’s take this slow.
Victor holds out his hand and Maggie takes it. They leave the study and walk up the stairs toward Victor’s bedroom.

I just had time to finally catch up! WHOOO HOOO! Thanks for a few GREAT chapters jkjpatch! I am with the other girls..I could hear their voices as I was reading the story. It was wonderful. Laughed when Maggie said she loved him and said happy now? That was such a Maggie thing to say. You always get the dialogue so perfectly!
Can't wait to find out who the surprise visitor will be!!
