Victor asks Maggie to help him reunite Philip and Melanie. Maggie refuses. Hilarity ensues.
Dorkay: That sounds like an odd premise for a story.
Molly: Actually, that was just kpatch's first draft. As it turns out, that's not at all what the story is about. Tune in Monday for the start of the story.
Dorkay: Kpatch is starting a story on Monday??? She never starts a story on a Monday. That's completely out of character.
Molly: Out of character? Ooh, do you think that maybe "It's Magic" was written by kpatch2, while the real kpatch is holed up somewhere writing the sequel to First Love, Last Love?
Dorkay: Molly, get a grip.

THE KIRIAKIS MANSION
Maggie: I’m tired of hearing you complain about how Brady stole your company out from under you. It’s time to shake it off and start all over again.
Victor: I’m too old to start over.
Maggie: Nonsense! I’ll help you.
Victor: Do what? Bake cookies?
Maggie: I see. So that’s what you think of me. I’m outta here.
Victor: Maggie wait. Please. Please accept my apology. I didn’t mean that. Not at all. I’m distraught and sometimes I use a quip to cover up my real feelings.
Maggie: That’s true. You do. And it’s annoying.
Victor: Maggie, you know I think the world of you.
Maggie: Do you now?
Victor: I do. I am well aware that you run a very successful business and that you’re a member of the hospital board and a highly respected member of the community. You .... I can learn a lot from you.
Maggie: How big of you to admit that.
Victor: Am I forgiven?
Maggie: I’ll think about it. Meanwhile, what kind of business do you know best?
Victor: Import/export. Shipping.
Maggie: What about entertainment?
Victor: Philip and Brady handled the publishing and broadcasting aspects of the business.
Maggie: Well don’t worry, Victor. Together, we’ll come up with something.

This is great. Just love Victor and Maggie together. Maggie is just so good at getting Victor to settle down and do things the right way. Adore there interactions. Wonder what Maggie and Victor are going to pick for Victor to run. Looking foreward to tomorrow's chapter. I could see Victor running a daycare center. He was so good with Ciara when she lived with him.

YAY!!!!! Another story already!!!! Lovin' it so far kpatch!!!! Victor & Maggie are just too cute together and I can sure hear the red head in her voice at the beginning when Victor was being rude (maybe it's because I'm a red head too  . Can't wait for the next chapter! |

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, NEUROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT
Bo: I know it’s silly, Ma. Just humor me, okay?
Caroline: I’m more sane than you and your brother put together.
Bo: I know, I know.
Caroline: Just because I served Wanchai Ferry chow mein instead of chowder that one time doesn’t mean I’m going crazy. Chow is chow.
Bo: You’re right.
Nurse: Caroline Brady, the doctor will see you.
Bo: I’ll be waiting righting here, Ma.
Nurse: Follow me, Mrs. Brady.
TITAN HEADQUARTERS
Brady: Maggie! Good to see you. What brings you to Titan?
Maggie: I need to talk to you.
Brady: Sure. What about?
Maggie: About Victor. What you did to him was despicable!
Brady: Not that again. Maggie, you know I love you, but this isn’t your concern.
Maggie: Now you really do sound like your grandfather. Do you realize what you’ve done to him?
Brady: What I realize is that I’ve saved the company ... kept it from being sold off in pieces and turned into some boutique publishing company. That’s what Vivian was planning to do. Did you know that?
Maggie: That still doesn’t explain why you wouldn’t give the company back to Victor. He knows how to run this organization.
Brady: Knew. Past tense. He’s in his 70s. He needed to retire.
Maggie: Maybe. Maybe not. But regardless of what you think, that decision is something that he needed to make for himself.
Brady: He was never going to retire.
Maggie: You’ve hurt him deeply, you know. In more ways than you can imagine. Don’t you care?
Brady: You know what I care about, Maggie? I care about the hundreds of employees that work for Titan all over the world. When grandfather took his eye off the ball and let Vivian steal the company out from under him, every single one of those employees was in danger of losing their job. Because of me, they have job security and haven’t joined the ranks of the unemployed.
