Chapter 1 JAVA CAFE Philip and Melanie are sitting at a table. MELANIE: I am so glad you came back. PHILIP: Me to. I have never been happier in my whole life. MELANIE: So, I got a question. PHILIP: Ask away, my love. MELANIE: You got a letter in the mail yesterday. I didn't recognize the return address. Who was it from? Philip smiled. KIRIAKIS MANSION There is a knock on the door. Brady opens it and the knocker is revealed to be... BRADY: Chloe?! CHLOE: Hey! Brady and Chloe hug. BRADY: It's good to see you! How are you? CHLOE: I'm great! My singing career is a huge hit, and I've got a pretty strong case for getting Parker back. BRADY: That's great to hear! I am so happy for you! So, what are you doing back in Salem? CHLOE: Well, I'll only be here for a few weeks. And, I have a special request to make of you. M. D. REHAB FACILITY Since awaking from her coma, Jan had been transferred to M. D. Rehab Facility. She was now under the care of an older doctor named Dr. Paris. One morning, Paris walked into Jan's room with an envelope in his hand. PARIS: How are you feeling today, Jan? JAN: Good. PARIS: That's good. You received some mail this morning. JAN: May I see it, please? Dr. Paris handed Jan the envelope. Jan opened it, took out a piece of paper, read it, and smiled. WALES Shawn-D, Belle, and Claire's most recent port of call on their journey across the world on the Fancy Face IV was a town called Tywyn, which was in Wales. They liked Wales, and had even bought an apartment in Tywyn. One evening, Shawn-D had just gotten home from work, he had gotten a job at a local railway, helping out in the workshops. Shawn-D walked in the door. SHAWN-D: Honey, I'm home! Belle was in the kitchen, reading a piece of paper. She looked up and hugged Shawn-D. BELLE: Good. Because, I have an announcement. SHAWN-D: What's up? BELLE: Fire up the Fancy Face IV. We're going back to Salem! |

Chapter 2 JAVA CAFE PHILIP: The letter was from Salem High School. I graduated from there in 2002. And, this year is my 10 year class reunion. The letter was just reminding me that it's coming up in a few weeks. MELANIE: Well, that's exciting. You're going, aren't you? PHILIP: Of course I am. But, I'm going to need a date. MELANIE: Any ideas on who that would be? Philip smiled again. PHILIP: Hm, well, let me think. There's so many people to choose from. You wouldn't be interested in going, would you, Melanie? Melanie smiled. MELANIE: Hm, well, I'd have to look at my schedule, but I might be able to come. Philip and Melanie kissed. KIRIAKIS MANSION CHLOE: I know that we aren't together anymore, but I was wondering if you could do something for me. BRADY: Hon, I'll do whatever you need me to do, you know that. CHLOE: Well, my ten year class reunion is coming up in a couple weeks, and I was wondering if you would be my date? BRADY: Sure. That sounds good. It's been a while since I hung out with everybody who went to high school with you. CHLOE: So, you'll do it? BRADY: Yeah. I'd love to be your date. M. D. REHAB JAN: “Salem High's Class of 2002 Ten Year Class Reunion”. Can I go? PARIS: I'm not sure if that would be advisable. JAN: Oh, please, Dr. Paris? Can't I please go? Look, I've been taking all of my meds, I'm fine. I swear, it's just one, maybe two nights. PARIS: All right. I'll let you go on the condition that Tobias comes with you to supervise. JAN: Awesome! FANCY FACE IV Shawn-D had been updated on the Class Reunion situation and he, Belle, and Claire were now sailing off to Salem as fast as they could. BELLE: Who do you think would show up? SHAWN-D: Probably Philip, Kevin, Jason, Mimi, and Chloe. Most of the jocks and the cheerleaders. I just hope she doesn't show up. There was no need for Belle to ask who Shawn-D meant by “she”. They both knew quite well who he was talking about. |
