The Story So Far

Summer Breeze – In which, we meet the current kids of Salem as teenagers. J.J., Joey, Claire, Ciara, Allie and Sydney are introduced as main characters, along with Ceri and Rhiannon, the identical twin daughters of Nicholas Alamain. Though Johnny appears, he is not yet a main character. At the end, Ceri and Sydney meet for the first time.
Summer Breeze II: The End of Summer – In which, we see how evil Johnny has become. Ceri and Sydney begin casually dating, and by the end, are in a strong relationship.
The Autumn Effect – In which, André returns and goes on a killing spree, and we find out the full truth about Sydney's past. Marlena dies.
Winter/Reflections – In which, the effects of the previous autumn are felt in full force.
A Summer (Camp) to Remember – In which, we take a short jaunt to the inbetween period and find out why Johnny is the way he is.
Spring Fever – In which, Sydney must confront her past head on.
That Summer – In which, we jump forward a year. Sydney and Ceri become engaged, and a massive flood hits Salem.
Spring(ing) Ahead – In which, Sydney, Ceri, Rhiannon and Joey graduate from high school.
Scenes from a Roadtrip – In which, we take a short journey back to the events of The Autumn Effect and Winter/Reflections, and see Ciara and Claire go on a roadtrip across the United States.
White Wedding – In which, Sydney and Ceri are joined together in marriage.
This story takes place approximately six months after the events of White Wedding.

Chapter 1

APARTMENT
Ceri was in the kitchen of the apartment she and Sydney lived in. She was cooking dinner. The door opened, and Sydney walked in.
SYDNEY: Mmm! Something smells good!
CERI: I should hope so. The chicken's almost done.
Sydney and Ceri embraced.
SYDNEY: Oh, I don't mean the chicken.
CERI: Well, I did just get done showering before I started cooking.
They laughed, and kissed.
CERI: So, how was work?
SYDNEY: Busy, but good.
CERI: That's good.
SYDNEY: Yeah.
CERI: So, I talked to dad today.
SYDNEY: What did he say?
CERI: Him and mum are paying for whatever the money from John and your mum and Lucas doesn't cover.
SYDNEY: Awesome! This is gonna be so great!
CERI: I know! I can't wait! I know we were only there back in December, but I can't wait to show you Wales in the summertime.
SYDNEY: Well, if it's even half as beautiful as you describe it, it will be amazing!
CERI: Oh, it is! You'll love it!
SYDNEY: I'm sure I will.
Ceri stirred a pot of noodles.
SYDNEY: So, how was your day?
CERI: Pretty good. Aside from talking to dad, I put in a few more hours at the Student Center.
SYDNEY: That's cool.
CERI: Yep.
SYDNEY: So, do I have enough time to shower before dinner?
CERI: If you're quick.
SYDNEY: I will be. I love you.
CERI: I love you.
Sydney and Ceri kissed.

Chapter 2

APARTMENT
A few days later, Ceri and Sydney were packing. Sydney put a few more pairs of socks and a few more shirts in a suitcase. Then, she zipped it up.
SYDNEY: There. Done.
CERI: Awesome!
Sydney and Ceri lifted the suitcase off the bed, and sat in next to the bedroom door.
CERI: So, that's us all packed, then.
SYDNEY: Yep. This is gonna be an amazing trip!
CERI: I know! I can't wait! I don't know how I'm gonna get any sleep tonight.
SYDNEY: Well, we could stay up all night and talk and...other things.
CERI: Mmm.
Sydney and Ceri kissed.
SYDNEY: But, we should probably try to sleep. At least, a little bit. We do have an early morning tomorrow.
CERI: True.
The girls kissed again.
SYDNEY: Well, maybe we could stay up a little longer.
CERI; I like the way you think.
The two kissed again, then closed the bedroom door.

AIRPLANE
The next morning, Ceri and Sydney were getting settled into the airport.
PILOT (over intercom): Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Delta Airlines Flight #1087, with services to Cardiff Airport. Our travel time should be approximately eleven hours and ten minutes. Food is provided. For those of you who are traveling beyond Cardiff, please check your tickets for flight information. There will be signs to assist you once we make our arrival.
The Pilot then proceeded to go through all of the standard flight safety information.
PILOT (over intercom): I'll be back to check in with you in a while. Until then, sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight to Cardiff.
SYDNEY: So, how far away from Cardiff is Anglesey?
CERI: Other side of the country. That's why we're taking a second flight from Cardiff to Anglesey. Then, we'll take a car from there to Tywyn. It's not very far from there.
SYDNEY: And we'll get to see that railway you've told me all about?
CERI: Definitely. First thing we'll do. Well...maybe not the very first.
They laughed.
SYDNEY: I know what you mean. I am really excited to see it, though.
CERI: So am I. It's been so long since I've been on it. You're gonna love it.
SYDNEY: Cool.
Sydney and Ceri took each other's hand.
SYDNEY: I can't wait for this.
CERI: Me either. You're gonna love Wales.
SYDNEY: I already do. I loved it since we went their back in December.
CERI: Yeah, but that was in the winter. It's even better in the summer.
SYDNEY: Well, whatever time of year, as long as I'm with you, everything's amazing.
They kissed. Sydney rested her head on Ceri's shoulder.

Awww... can't wait to see Wales! This is gonna be even better than Ciara and Claire's road trip! I love seeing Ceri and Sydney enjoying each other's company so much too. Great chapter André DiMera!

Chapter 3

CARDIFF AIRPORT – Cardiff, Wales
After what seemed like a eternity, but was really just over eleven hours, the girls landed in the hub of Wales: Cardiff. After going through customs, the girls went to find the gate where their second airplane would take off from.
SYDNEY; So, we will get to see Cardiff later, right?
CERI: Towards the end of the trip, yeah.
SYDNEY: Awesome! Because, I really want to see the stuff around here! Especially the Rift.
CERI: Well, you can't really see the Rift. It's kind of invisible.
SYDNEY: Not if something's coming through it.
CERI: True. We can see the place around where it is. And the pavement slab that leads to Torchwood 3.
SYDNEY: Awesome! I'm so glad you got me into that show, by the way!
CERI: I'm glad you like it. It's one of my favorites.
SYDNEY: I can see why!
CERI: So, welcome to the capital of Wales.
SYDNEY: Nice! Can't wait to see it!
CERI: Me either. It's gonna be so fun being back!
SYDNEY: I can imagine. Plus, I want to see where you grew up.
CERI: You will. Either tonight or tomorrow. I especially wanna show you the field.
SYDNEY: The one you say is like gold?
CERI: It is, in the summertime.
SYDNEY: That'll be awesome!
Ceri and Sydney kissed.

VALLEY AIRPORT – Anglesey
At last, the girls made it to their second airport.
SYDNEY: Well, that was a much shorter ride than the first.
CERI: Yep. Shorter by about ten hours.
The girls laughed.
SYDNEY: So, you ready for an amazing three weeks?
CERI: Always. I can't wait to show you around Wales, especially now that it's actually nice out and we can do the stuff we talked about last winter.
SYDNEY: Well, I can't wait, either. This is gonna be awesome.
The girls went and got their suitcases, then went to get a car.

THE DOLGOCH - Tywyn
The car pulled up, and the girls got out.
CERI: Well, here we are.
SYDNEY: Looks cozy.
CERI: I showed you the pictures, right?
SYDNEY: Yeah. This should be good.
The girls checked in, and then took their things to their room.
SYDNEY: This is gorgeous!
CERI: I know! It's so nice!
The girls put some of the things from their suitcases away and then went outside.
CERI: Come on, I'll show you the Falls.
SYDNEY: The Falls?
CERI: Yeah. Dolgoch Falls. Remember that waterfall I told you about that Rhiannon and I used to go swimming near?
SYDNEY: Yeah.
CERI: Well, get ready, because you're about to see it.
SYDNEY: Sweet! Let's go!
Sydney and Ceri kissed. Then, Sydney took Ceri's hand, and two went off together.

YAY! I have always wanted to go to Cardiff to see the Rift. (I sometimes wonder if I will find Andre in it)
