Chapter 1 DIMERA MANSION E.J. was pacing around the mansion. E.J.: Rolf! Dr. Rolf, who all this time had been hiding in some dark corner of the mansion, came upstairs. ROLF: Yes, Elvis? E.J.: Rolf, where is father? ROLF: He is on a business trip. E.J.: What sort of business trip? Where did he go? ROLF: I cannot say. E.J.: Rolf, you will tell me where he is. ROLF: I cannot do that, Elvis, as I have no idea where he is. He didn't tell me. All he said as he rushed out the door yesterday was that he was going to take care of some very important business. UNDISCLOSED LOCATION Stefano is seated in a room with three men across from him. One man is wearing an Edwardian style suit, one looks like he hasn't showered in weeks, and the third wears all black with some leather. Their names, respectively, are George, Baldrick, and Edmund. However, most people refer to Edmund by his last name, Blackadder. All three are British. It was George who spoke up first. GEORGE: Well, hey, ho, pip and dandy! Sure is great to be here in the land of the free with the big guy over here! Any chance we could get some grits or dogs that are purportedly hot, or whatever it jolly well is you Americans eat? BLACKADDER: Shut up, George. I assume, Stefano, you're going to tell us why we had to meet you here in this drab, dusty room? STEFANO: Of course. Since you seem determined to return to Salem, I wish to know why. BLACKADDER: Not that it would matter to you, but I have some old unfinished business to take care of. STEFANO: What business have you in Salem? BLACKADDER: You'll find out very soon. STEFANO: But, I don't want to find out soon. I want to find out now! You and I made an agreement, you remember? You are not to come to Salem unless I know why you must return. BLACKADDER: I see. Baldrick, the scroll. Baldrick handed Blackadder a scroll, which Blackadder unfolded. BLACKADDER: As you can see, Stefano, I'm not here for personal business. But for Her Majesty's business.

Chapter 2 UNDISCLOSED LOCATION STEFANO: This is not right. Surely this must be a fake. BALDRICK: It is? BLACKADDER (nervously): Um, what Baldrick means is that, of course it's not the real, original seal that the queen was given at her coronation. (regaining composure) But, it is a document that has the official seal stamped onto it. And, don't call me Shirley, STEFANO: Why would Her Majesty send you to Salem? BLACKADDER: As we've already explained Stefano, it's for private business. I suspect that if she wished for you to know, she would have informed you. STEFANO: I see. Well, maybe I'm just growing soft, but I cannot argue with Her Majesty's wishes. Go on. CAR A little while later, Blackadder, Baldrick, and George are in a limo. GEORGE: I must say, Edmund, old chap, you did a sterling job of it out there. You even had me believing you. BLACKADDER: Yes, George, I'm not surprised. Though, I will admit that, sometimes, I surprise even myself. BALDRICK: So, am I correct sir that that paper you have with Her Majesty's crest on it does not actually have Her Majesty's crest on it, but does in fact have a very good imitation of Her Majesty's crest on it, rather than Her Majesty's actual crest? BLACKADDER: You mean, did I forge the seal? BLACK: Yeah. BLACKADDER: Of course I did. Right now, old Lizzie thinks that I'm on holiday in the South Pacific and that I've brought you and George along so I wouldn't have to pay the servants to feed you both. GEORGE: Good lord, Edmund, why on Lady Di's grand green earth would you tell the queen a great big whopper like that? BLACKADDER: You'll find out soon enough, George. It's all part of my cunning plan. DIMERA MANSION E.J. was standing in one of the Mansion's main rooms, watching the fireplace crackle. Rolf entered the room. ROLF: There is a woman here to see you, Elvis. E.J.: Who is it? Into the room, very excitedly, walked Susan Banks. SUSAN: Surprise! E.J. got very pale. E.J.: Mother.

Chapter 3 CAR Stefano is in a limo. STEFANO: Yes, I am on my way back. Pause. STEFANO: Now, you need to listen carefully, Rolf. That man has returned. Pause. STEFANO: The one I told you about years ago. The queen's whipping boy. Pause. STEFANO: I want you to get rid of him. Pause. STEFANO: I don't care how you do it, just get rid of him! He should never have come back to Salem! I want him gone! DIMERA MANSION SUSAN: Oh my goodness! You've grown so much! My little baby Elvis is a big boy now. Susan gave him a hug, but E.J. just stood there. Susan playfully smacked E.J.'s cheek. SUSAN: Now what kinda weak hug is that, young man? You come here and give yer mammy a real hug. Susan and E.J. hugged again. This time, E.J. put some effort into it. E.J.: Sorry, mother. I was just surprised to see you. It's been a long time. Please, sit down. E.J. gestured towards some chairs. He and Susan sat across from each other. E.J.: So, how's Edmund? SUSAN: Oh, Edmund's fine. He's off on a business trip someplace out in Africa. I didn't wanna stay home all by my lonesome, so I thought I'd come to visit you. E.J.: I see. Very nice. SUSAN: Well, actually, that's only one of the reasons I'm here. E.J.: What are the other reasons? SUSAN: I'm bustin' you outta this place, little Elvis. I'ma take you back to England with me before that mean, mean, mean father o' yers gets you trapped in some o' his evil-doin'.
