I'm thinking Morgan has more schemes up her sleeve. I was really surprised by her honesty.
Thanks for the cool dance music.

Chapter 9 SALEM HIGH Click to hear the song that's playing: SYDNEY: This song's awesome! Let's dance! Sydney and Ceri got up and started dancing as "Come On Eileen" thumped through the speakers. CERI: Having a good time so far? SYDNEY: Totally! I'm having a great time! What about you? CERI: Absolutely! I was hoping to see Rhiannon and J.J., though. I left before she had finished getting ready. SYDNEY: Well, hopefully they'll get here soon. J.J. and Rhiannon walked up. J.J.: Well, I think that's our cue. CERI: Hey! Ceri and Rhiannon hugged. SYDNEY: You look pretty, Rhiannon. RHIANNON: Thanks, Sydney. I love your dress! SYDNEY: I like your's too. CERI: I'm so glad you guys made it! RHIANNON: Well, we would have been here earlier, but somebody forgot to fill the car with gas. J.J.: I did not forget. I simply neglected to. Besides, haven't you guys ever heard of being fashionably late? MAX & CHELSEA'S APARTMENT CHELSEA: Are you serious? Max had just finished telling Chelsea about what had happened with Morgan. CHELSEA: I don't believe this! I thought Morgan was our friend. MAX: I know. I thought so, too. But, apparently she's changed. CHELSEA: Yeah, big time. Max put his arms around Chelsea. MAX: It's okay. It'll be okay. She isn't going to do anything else. She won't get the chance to. I promise.

Chapter 10 SALEM HIGH Click to listen: It was getting later into the evening, and the slower songs were now being played. SYDNEY: Isn't this your favorite song? CERI: Yeah, it is. I like Gator Creek's version of it better. But, at least this one still has Kenny Loggins in it. Thanks for bringing me to the dance. SYDNEY: You're welcome. I've had a lot of fun tonight. CERI: Me too. MAX & CHELSEA'S HOUSE Across town, not everyone was having as much fun. Chelsea had fallen asleep, and Max was getting ready to go out. MAX: Morgan needs to get out of our lives. And I'm gonna tell her that. Max left. It seems that Chelsea was only pretending to sleep, as she got up and walked towards the door. CHELSEA: I know Max said he would handle it, but I just can't let this go. You betrayed a sister, Morgan. And being our leader, I would think you'd know better. Chelsea left the house. POLICE STATION Earlier in the day, Chelsea had told Bo, Billie, and Shawn-D about what had happened. Bo was at his desk, polishing his gun. BO: It's like Roman always said, (immitating Roman) "a doughnut a day keeps the doctor away." (normal voice) Though I think the more pertinent thing he said would be, (immitating Roman) "sometimes, little brother, you just gotta be the bad cop." Bo put his gun in its holster and walked out. In another office, Billie was doing the same thing. BILLIE: Looks like those years of police training may finally pay off. Billie got up and left. OUTSIDE THE BRADY PUB Shawn-D walked out of he Pub. SHAWN-D: No one messes with my sister and gets away with it. He walked off. PARK Jan was sitting on Benchy JAN: I offered you help, and you turned your back on me. Nobody crosses Jan Spears. Jan got up and walked away. SALEM PLACE Morgan was just leaving Salem Place. As she was leaving, she heard a noise and turned around...

Chapter 11 SALEM HIGH Nick went up to the podium and cleared his throat. NICK: Excuse me. Your attention, please, everybody. The students and chaperones all turned to look at Nick. NICK: Thank you, Now, unfortunately, it's about that time of the evening. So, it's time to play the final song of the night, Now, ever since I became principal, we've always finished our dances with a certain song. It does contain one lyric that isn't quite appropriate for high school. However, we've never had any complaints about it. In fact, most people seem to enjoy this song. And, even though the majority of you are minors, I'm sure you hear much worse than this in your daily lives and that you're mature enough to handle ut. So, grab a partner for our last dance of the evening! Click to listen to the song: SYDNEY: Oh my gosh! I love this song! Let's dance. Sydney and Ceri started dancing. Nearby, J.J. and Rhiannon were also dancing. RHIANNON: They are so adorable together! I'm glad Sydney and my sister are together. J.J,: Yeah, they are cute. But, not as beautiful as the most gorgeous woman in the room. Rhiannon looked at J.J. J.J.: You, silly. J.J. laughed. He and Rhiannon kissed. CERI: So, this is one of your favorite songs? SYDNEY: Nope. My favorite. I even learned to play this on piano. CERI: You never told me you play piano. SYDNEY: It's just an occasional thing. I started at the end ofthis past summer. It's soothing. CERI: Cool. Thanks for inviting me to the dance. SYDNEY: Sweetie, I'd invite you anywhere. As long as we're together, we could be anywhere. And, thanks for everything you've done for me in the last year. I wouldn't have made it without you. CERI: You're welcome. But, I think ou would have. You're stronger than you think, Syd, Thankfully, though, I'm not going anywhere, so we'll never have to do it withoit each other. Besides, you've helped me with a lot of stuff, too. We'll always be here for each other. SYDNEY: Always. I love you. CERI: I love you. Sydney and Ceri continued to dance and get lost in each other's eyes. Finally, just as the song was on its last line, they kissed.
