Chapter 6

SAMI & LUCAS' APARTMENT
Allie was helping Sydney get into her dress.
ALLIE: Okay. Almost perfect. Just need the shoes.
SYDNEY: They're in the closet.
Allie dug into Sydney's closet and brought out a pair of purple converse. Sydney put them on. She then stood up. Allie put a hand over her mouth.
ALLIE: Perfect. Perfect! I love it! You look gorgeous, Syd.
SYDNEY: Thanks.

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Morgan, who is back in her Melanie disguise, is up at the front desk, looking over some papers. Max walked up.
MAX: You and I need to talk.
MORGAN (as Melanie): Okay. What's up?
MAX: It can't be here. It needs to be in private.
MORGAN (as Melanie): All right.
Morgan led Max to an empty room and closed the door.
MORGAN (as Melanie): What can I do for you?
MAX: Why are you here?
MORGAN (as Melanie): Um...I work here.
MAX: I mean, how can you even be here? You died.
MORGAN (as Melanie): No, I didn't. Of course I didn't. How could I? I'm still here, aren't I?
MAX: I went to your funeral last October. You and Philip were shot by André DiMera.
MORGAN (as Melanie): Well, there must be some sort of confusion, bro. Because I can assure you that I am definitely not dead.
MAX: Who are you then? You're not mu sister, but you look like her. And I wanna know why.
MORGAN (as Melanie): Max, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Max touched Morgan's wig and could tell it was fake. He pulled it off revealing blonde hair.
MAX: Okay. Now I know you're a fake. Time to find out who you really are.
Max pulled at the mask Morgan was wearing.

Just got caught up. Love it Andre!!

Yeah Max!!! Glad he figured it out. Wonder how Morgan is going to get out of this!!

Glad Max wasn't fooled by her disguise. I wonder if he will get the mask off of her.

Chapter 7

SAMI & LUCAS' APARTMENT
Allie left the room for a moment. Sydney looked in a mirror. She really liked what she saw. A moment or two later, Allie returned with Sami.
SYDNEY: Well, Mom, what do you think?
SAMI: Oh my gosh...Sydney, you look beautiful!
SYDNEY: Thanks!
Sydney and Sami hugged. There was a knock at the door.
SAMI: Come on, it's time.
Sami and Allie headed downstairs. Ceri was waiting down there.
CERI: Hi, Mrs. Horton. Hi, Allie.
SAMI: Hi, Ceri.
ALLIE: How's it goin'?
CERI: Where's Sydney?
SAMI: She's finishing up getting ready. She'll be down in a minute.
The, Ceri looked at the stairs. Sydney was making her way down them. Ceri walked over and met Sydney at the bottom.
CERI: You look...amazing.
SYDNEY: Thanks! So do you.
Sydney and Ceri kissed.

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Max was standing with Morgan, now fully revealed in front of him.
MAX: So, that's it, then.
MORGAN: Max...
MAX: What the hell is this, Morgan? What are you doing dressed as my dead sister nd posing as a doctor? Do you realize how much trouble you could be in if anyone found out?
MORGAN: I do. Of course I do.
MAX: Then tell me hat the hell is going on here!
MORGAN: Okay. I'll tell you. I'll tell you everything.

[MrsM]

I don't think Morgan is going to tell Max an ounce of truth.

[Kpatch]

So happy that Max figured out who Melanie really is. I would be concerned she'd harm Chelsea and the babies.

And Sydney? Aw. Just aw. Hope they have a wonderful time at the dance.

I wonder what story Morgan will tell Max.

I hope the girls enjoy the dance.

Chapter 8

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
MORGAN: The hospital was short on staff. I came to help out.
MAX: By dressing us as my sister? Nice try. But try again.
MORGAN: I'm serious, Max. I mean, when I first started, I didn't even know that Melanie was dead.
MAX: You were at her funeral! I saw you there! We talked after the service!
MORGAN: Okay, then I made a mistake. I should have dressed as Kayla.
MAX: You should have dressed as yourself! Now, first off, I wanna know exactly what you're doing here.
MORGAN: I told you, the hospital was short on staff. I was trying to help.
MAX: Stop lying!
MORGAN: I'm not!
MAX: Yes, you are! I can tell! Tell the truth!
MORGAN: What do you want to know?
MAX: First, I want to know why you're even here. Then, I want to know for sure that what you told me and Chelsea about our babies is true.
MORGAN: I'm here for you! There, I said it. I'm here because I want you! And I will do whatever I can to get you.
MAX: It won't work, Morgan. I'm with Chelsea. We've discussed this.
MORGAN: Oh, Max. Don't you know by now that I always get what I want? As for your kids, yes, you are having some. Just not five. Actually, it's only three.
MAX: So, you lied about that too, huh? I can't trust you anymore. I'm not even sure I know you anymore.
Max turned and walked away.

SALEM HIGH
