Title: Fourteen Years
Summary: Roman and Kate's worst nightmare becomes reality.

Chapter 1

Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) get married on Valentines Day 1995, her sons Austin and Lucas are there and her daughter Billie is her bridesmaid. Roman's son Eric is his best man and his daughter Carrie is there. Roman's other daughter Sami is there, but she is not to happy about the marriage. Kate's youngest son Philip who is 5 who she didn't know was her son until last year when Vivian's secret came out, that Vivian was not Philip's mom, but Kate was. Philip is the ring bearer. Roman's niece Stephanie is the flower girl.

Kate and Roman get married and go on their honeymoon in Hawaii. They come back to Salem and Kate finds out she is pregnant with twins and tells Roman the great news and they are overjoyed. They share the news with the rest of their family and friends who are so happy with the news.

9 months later to the date of their wedding Kate goes into labor.

November 14, 1995 in Salem, snow is lightly falling on the ground.

Kate and Roman arrive at the Salem University Hospital as Kate has went into labor and is about to have twins. Roman's sister Kayla is at the hospital ready to deliver her nephew and niece.

Roman is by Kate's side all the way as she gives birth to a healthy baby boy named Chase Aaron Brady and a healthy baby girl named Kaitlyn Elizabeth Brady.

Kayla wraps up the newborn babies and hands them to Kate and her big brother Roman. "Congratulations" Kayla says.

Kate and Roman are holding their newborn babies smiling and overjoyed. Roman and Kate are talking about how lucky they as they kiss.

Kate says "look how beautiful they are Roman." Roman says "I know just like their mother" and Kate says "and their father."

Kate's holding Chase and Roman's holding Kaitlyn. Roman is holding Kaitlyn's little hand and says "she is going to have me wrapped around her little finger" and kisses her forehead.

Kate is now holding Kaitlyn and Roman is now holding Chase.

Kate and Roman both say "We are the luckiest parents in the world" as they kiss.

Grandpa Shawn and Caroline arrive to see their new grandbabies.

"Let me see our beautiful new grandbabies." Shawn and Caroline say with joy.

Shawn and Caroline hug Roman and Kate.

"Congratulations." They both say to their son and Kate.

"Thanks pop, ma." Roman says beaming.

"Thank you so much Shawn and Caroline." Kate says.

Roman hands Kaitlyn to Shawn and Chase to Caroline.

"Oh my, they are so beautiful." Caroline says

Austin, Carrie, Billie, Eric, Lucas, Sami, and Philip all arrive to see their newborn siblings.

Roman goes over to Kate and kisses her.

"We are very lucky and blessed." Roman says to Kate.

'I know we are truly blessed."

A nurse comes in and Grandpa Shawn asks "Will you please take a picture of our beautiful family?"

"I would be happy to."

The nurse takes a picture of Kate and Roman who are holding Chase and Kaitlyn, Grandpa Shawn, Caroline, Austin, Billie, Lucas, Philip, Eric, Carrie, and Sami.

Chapter 2

1 year later in Salem, November 14, 1996: Chase and Kaitlyn's first birthday party at the Brady pub.

Roman and Kate are at the Brady pub with their family and friends and Kate is holding Chase while Roman is holding Kaitlyn.

Almost everyone is at the Brady pub, Shawn and Caroline, Sami, Lucas, Austin, Carrie, Eric, Billie, Bo, Hope, Shawn D, Kayla, Stephanie, Steve, Marlena, John, Brady, Belle, Philip, and others.

Grandpa Shawn and Caroline are playing with their grandkids and Philip, Belle, Shawn D, Stephanie, and Brady are all playing and running around.

Roman and Kate are holding Chase and Kaitlyn when Grandpa Shawn brings out the birthday cake. Everyone starts singing Happy Birthday.

Kaitlyn and Chase are having fun eating cake and making a mess and playing with their presents. Chase and Kaitlyn have cake all over the face.

After they celebrate their 1st birthday, Chase and Kaitlyn start getting tired, so Kate and Roman take them up the Brady pub stairs and get them cleaned up and lay them down in the crib and give them each a kiss. After they get the babies to sleep they come back down and join everyone.

During the next hour Stefano and his henchman somehow get into the pub and no one notices as he goes into the room where the twins are sleeping and kidnaps the twins.

Downstairs Roman and Kate start to feel something isn't right and then her some noise then they hear crying. Kate and Roman say
"Chase and Kaitlyn" and then run upstairs along with Bo, John, and Steve.

When they get upstairs they notice that Chase and Kaitlyn are missing. Kate starts crying and screaming and Roman is crying holding onto Kate.

Kate is screaming "where are my babies?" Roman who is holding onto Kate says to John, Bo, and Steve, "that son of a bitch Stefano, I know that scum is behind this.

"It's his life mission to destroy the Brady family."

"He kidnapped Sami and Eric when they were babies and he is the only one low enough to do this."

Roman says "nobody else enters this room or touches anything into we get our gloves on"

Kate looks at Roman and says "you think he took them?" Roman says to Kate "Sweetheart don't worry our babies are going to be fine." "We are going to get them back safe and sound."

Everyone else runs up to see what's going on and Roman and Bo says no one enter this room. They say that Chase and Kaitlyn have been kidnapped and more then likely by Stefano DiMera.

Marlena is trying to console Kate, who knows what she is going through "Stefano kidnapped Sami and Eric when they were babies and we got them back safe."

Roman and Bo get their gloves on and search the room. Roman is trying to hold it together as he looks for evidence.

Bo walks over to Roman and puts his hand on his shoulder "big bro let me do this and you go be with Kate." "This is too much for you to handle doing this right now. I will take care of it."

Roman looks at Bo "damn it Bo" "I'm not going any where; if they were your babies wouldn't you be right here doing the same thing as me or would you leave?"

"I'm sorry bro, you right, I would be right here doing the same thing."

"OK then" Roman says.

Bo and Roman keep searching for any type of evidence and can not find any trace of anything.

1 hour later.

Roman and Bo go back down stairs and Kate runs into Roman's arms. Kate crying asks "have you found anything?"

"Please Roman, Bo" Kate says crying as Roman who is also crying is looking into Kate's eyes and Kate starts saying "oh God; no Roman" and falls into his arms crying even harder. "This can't be happening."

Roman is holding onto Kate, "baby I'm sorry we can't find anything, no evidence, no note, no prints, nothing."

"We searched every inch of the upstairs pub."

"We will tear apart Salem into we find them Katie." "We will get Chase and Kaitlyn back safe." Roman kisses the top of Kate's head. "I promise you Katie."

Kate is holding onto Roman tightly and is praying "please God let our babies be ok and please bring them home safe to us, Amen."

They keep searching and never give up searching for them and they never give up hope.

Chapter 3

2001 in Salem: The twins have been SORASed to 15 years old.

Summer 2001, 15 year old twins Rex and Cassie move to Salem. Their last name is Jensen.

Kate and Roman split up for a short period of time, but have recently gotten back together. They have never given up hope of finding Kaitlyn and Chase and have kept searching for them since the day they were kidnapped by Stefano DiMera.

Its summer vacation and Belle and Shawn D. who are dating are hanging out at Dot Com along with Mimi Lockhart Belle's best friend.

Belle, Shawn, and Mimi are talking when Rex and Cassie come in, Belle says "I've never seen them before, they must be new." "We should ask to come over." "Yeah" Mimi and Shawn say.

Rex and Cassie look over and notice Belle, Shawn, and Mimi waving for them to come over. So they do.

"Hey I'm Belle and this is Shawn and Mimi." "Hey I'm Rex and this is my twin sister Cassie." Shawn says "sit down" so they join them and start talking.

"So we haven't seen you around here before, have you moved to Salem" Belle asks?

Rex tells them that their parents got a job here and that they will be attending Salem High in the fall. "That's were we go" Mimi say as she smiles at Rex and Rex who is smiling back at Mimi says "that's great."

Kate and Roman come in and set down and get some coffee. They see the teens and start talking. "I wonder who those kids are with Belle, Shawn, and Mimi." Kate says.

"Are you ok" Roman asks Kate? Kate tells Roman "every time I see new teens in Salem I think could they be Chase and Kaitlyn.

"I know Katie" Roman says taking her hand. "I feel the same way; you know we are going to find them some day?"

Kate says "I know we are going to find our little girl and little boy one day and we have never and will never give up hope."

"That's a fact" Roman says.

Jason, Jan, and Philip come in and Join them.

Belle says to Jason, Jan, and Philip "this is Rex and Cassie they moved here and will be attending Salem high in the falls." Rex, Cassie, this is Philip, Jason, and Jan. Everyone says "hi."

"We are all going to be sophomores, expect for Philip he is going to be a senior." Belle says.

"Thank goodness." Philip replies.

Jason sits down beside Cassie "hi, I'm Jason Masters." as he smiles at Cassie.

"Hi, I'm Cassie." As she smiles back at him.

Jan smiles at Rex and ask "so do you have a girlfriend?"

"No I'm single as of right now." Rex keeps looking at Mimi which Jan is not to happy about because she now has set her eyes on Rex.

"So you all are twins" Philip asks and Cassie says "yeah."

Roman's beeper goes off and he says "it must be the station" and gets up to use the phone and says "I will be right back Katie." "Ok but hurry back" Kate says. Roman smiles and gives Kate a kiss and leaves the table to call the station.

Jason asks Cassie "would like to get a smoothie"? "Sure" Cassie and Jason get up and walk over to the counter.

Kate gets up and Cassie accidentally bumps into her and Kate drops her purse.

Cassie says "oh I'm so sorry" and Kate says "it's ok honey" and Cassie picks up her purse and hands it to her and Kate says "thanks" and Cassie walks on with Jason.

Kate keeps looking at Cassie and Rex and then Rex asks Mimi "would like to get a smoothie?" Mimi says "sure". They get up and walk past Kate.

Kate keeps looking at Rex and Cassie. Roman comes back and notices the look on Kate's face and "what's wrong?" "Katie what's wrong?"

Kate waves for Philip to come over. Roman keeps asking Kate "what's wrong" as Kate just sets there in shock.

"Katie please tell me what it is." "What is it mom" Philip ask. Kate asks "who are the new boy and girl and what are their names?"

"Why?" "Just please tell me." "Ok, they just moved here and their names are Rex and Cassie Jensen oh and they are twins and Philip leaves."

"Oh my God Roman it's them." "Katie what" Kate says "it's them." "Rex and Cassie are Chase and Kaitlyn."

"Katie, do you think it really could be them?"

"As soon as I saw them I felt it and just look at them it's Chase and Kaitlyn, and I'm their mother I gave birth to them, I just know it's them, Roman."

Roman is looking at them too. "Oh my God Katie; It is them."

Kate gets up, "Kate sit down, what are you doing?" "It's our babies." "You can't just go up to them Katie." Roman says "they don't know we are their parents."

"What do we do?" "Well that call was from Bo and he told me that two people who just moved here named Thomas and Karen Jensen." "More then likely it's who they think their parents are supposed to be." "Philip said their last name is Jensen."

"If Rex and Cassie are Chase and Kaitlyn," Kate says "I know they are Roman" and Roman says "I really think so too, but we can't just go up them and say hey were your parents."

"Why not" Kate asks? Roman says "Katie honey we just can't do that." Kate says "look at them Chase is so handsome and Kaitlyn is so pretty." Roman says "I know, when I think of how much time we've lost with them." "I know" Kate says.

"Roman; it has been the longest fourteen years of our lives without them in it."

"I know Katie; if only there was more I could've done, I know we searched everywhere but if only there was something that would have lead us to them, one little clue."

"Roman; you have done everything possible, we all have been searching every since they were kidnapped from us and we all know that bastard Stefano was behind it." Kate says.

"There is no doubt in my mind, they day after we confronted the son of a bitch DiMera he left Salem and hasn't been seen since." Roman says.

"Now about Thomas and Karen Jensen, the call from the station was about them and the word is they are working with Stefano DiMera and something big is about to get down and the kids have no idea who… pauses and says who their fake parents really are."

Kate says "finally after all these years we have found our babies." Roman says "I know."

Kate says "we got to make sure our babies don't get hurt." "Don't worry about that, they will be fine, we all will make sure they are kept safe." Roman says.

"I know we couldn't prove it, but I know that son of a bitch Stefano was behind Chase and Kaitlyn's kidnapping." Kate says "I know how anyone can be so evil?" Roman says "that's Stefano DiMera."

Cassie and Jason, Rex and Mimi, and Belle and Shawn are sitting drinking their smoothies and talking. Philip and Jan have left.

Jason asks Cassie if she would like to go for a walk and Cassie says "sure" and they get up to leave. "Later everyone we are going to go for a walk" Jason says.

Cassie says "bye and tells Rex I will be home later."

Kate and Roman see Cassie leave with Jason. "I don't like that our little girl is leaving with Jason Masters that kid is trouble."

Kate asks "why, what has he done?" "He has been brought into the station before; he had been a fight that broke out at some party and gave me a bunch of attitude."

Kate and Roman leave to get up to go and Shawn says "hey Uncle Roman" and they walk over and say "Hi." Shawn says "this is Rex he and his twin sister Cassie just moved to Salem."

Roman says "nice to meet you Rex" and shakes his hand and Kate says "nice to meet you to Rex and shakes his hand" Rex says "nice to meet you both" and Kate is trying to hold it together and not cry. Kate says "I'm sorry" and leaves and Roman says "later" and goes after her.

"That is our son in their and that's the first time we have touched our son in 14 years." "I know Katie; I know that's our boy."

Rex "says I hope everything is fine" Belle and Shawn D. tell Rex about Kate and Roman's twins.

"That's horrible, how could anyone do something so evil?" "You don't know Stefano DiMera" Shawn says.

Belle says "Chase and Kaitlyn's would be our age and I should say are because we know they are still alive and out there."

Shawn says "It's wired, you look like what Chase would look like today and you and Cassie are both twins and are the same age as Chase and Kaitlyn."

"I was thinking the same thing, and Cassie looks a lot like Kate, too." Belle adds.

"I guess that's why Kate got so upset, because you reminded her of Chase." Shawn says.

Rex has a puzzled look on his face and says "I'm so sorry if I upset her."

"There is no need to say sorry, it's not your fault." Belle and Shawn say.

Mimi asks Rex "So, would you like me to show you around Salem?"

"I would like that very much."

Rex and Mimi tell Belle and Shawn "bye" and leave.

After Rex and Mimi leave Belle and Shawn start talking.

Belle says "Do you think that Rex and Cassie are Chase and Kaitlyn?"

"I don't know they both look like Brady's" Shawn replies.

"Can you imagine after all the years if they're back and Cassie does look a lot like Kate." Belle says.

"What should we do, should we go tell you dad?"

"Yeah" Shawn gets out his cell phone and calls his dad Bo.

"He must have it turned if off."

Belle and Shawn get up and leave.

Kate and Roman go to the station and Bo and Hope are their. Bo and Hope notice something is different with Roman and Kate.

Bo says "what's wrong Roman?" "Bo, Hope you are not going to believe this, we have found Chase and Kaitlyn."

Bo and Hope are stunned "OMG are you sure?" Kate says "Yes, I know those are our babies." Roman says "it's them. We know it and feel it and we can just look at them and know its Chase and Kaitlyn."

Bo and Hope hug Kate and Roman. "This is wonderful news." "Yes it is little brother."

Tek comes in and says "Bo, Hope can I talk to you for a minuite?" Bo and Hope "say sure and say we will be right back."

Roman and Kate say "ok" and start talking about Chase and Kaitlyn.

Kate and Roman are talking at the station and Kate says to Roman "Chase and Kaitlyn grew up thinking their names are Rex and Cassie, when they find out the truth of who they really are and that we are their parents and that they were kidnapped by that bastard Stefano, what's going to happen Roman?" "I mean how are they going to handle all this?"

Roman takes Kate's hands and looks into her eyes "Katie don't worry everything will be fine." Kate looks back into Roman eyes "do we call them Chase and Kaitlyn or Rex and Cassie."

Well, they grew up thinking that their names are Rex and Cassie and that's the names they have grown up with, It wouldn't be fair to them to call them Chase and Kaitlyn, that would be to much for them to change their names they are 15 years old and have been missing for 14 years they don't remember their names being Chase and Kaitlyn."

"We don't want to make this any harder on them then it's already going to be."

"I agree and I do love the names Rex and Cassie." Roman gives Kate a kiss and says "me too."

Bo and Hope return.

Bo ask Roman "remember earlier when I called you about that new couple the Jensen's who moved into town and that they might be working with Stefano?"

Roman says "yeah about that..." "There is a lot more about this that's going to change everything."

Bo says "what is it" and Roman says "this has to do with Chase and Kaitlyn."

Bo and Hope say "how?" Roman says "we have found out that Chase and Kaitlyn's names are Rex and Cassie Jensen."

Roman says "our first priority is to make sure that Rex and Cassie are kept safe." Hope says "of course."

Bo says "we just found out more info" and also says "we now know for sure that Thomas and Karen Jensen are working with Stefano DiMera."

Roman and Kate say "we always knew that he was behind the twins kidnapping." "We never could prove it but we knew he was behind it."

"We tore Salem apart trying to find them and any evidence that would lead us to them."

"We even confronted the bastard" Roman says.

Chapter 4

Flashback – November 1996 after the twins have been kidnapped.

Roman and Kate are at the station with Bo and Hope. Roman is holding onto Kate.

"Roman please tell me that we are going to find our babies." Roman's hand touches Kate's face "Katie I promise you we are going to get them back soon."

Kate looks at Roman "why would Stefano do this to us?" How could someone kidnap two innocent babies and take them away from their parents?"

Bo enters the room "we are going to have to wait for a search warrant." Roman shouts "what da hell." and Kate says "what, why?"

"I don't know; they didn't say, but I'm sure that scum Stefano has paid off someone to keep us from getting a search warrant."

Roman picks something up off the desk and throws against the wall "Damn it" and then looks at Bo "I'm sure is hell not going to sit here and wait for a search warrant I'm going over to the mansion myself."

Bo goes over to Roman "No your not" Bo says, and Roman gets in Bo's face "I would like to see you stop me." Bo puts both hands on Roman's shoulders "I was going to say not with out me, you need to have some back up."

Roman ask Hope to stay with Kate.

Kate goes over to Roman and looks him in the eyes "I'm not staying here, I'm going with you." "Katie it would be safer for you to stay here with Hope."

"Roman don't you even try to stop me from going; those are my babies, I'm their mother and there is no way in hell I'm going to stay here while you go confront Stefano without me."

Roman says "ok, I know better then to argue with you" Roman, Kate, Bo, and Hope leave the station to go to the DiMera mansion.

They arrive and knock on the door and Harold answers the door "can I help you?" Roman, Bo, and Hope show him their badges and walk in.

"Caption Brady, what are you doing here?"

"You know damn well why I'm here."

"Where are my babies?" Stefano says "what are you talking about?"

"Don't you even pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about?" "Where are Chase and Kaitlyn?"

Roman then gets in Stefano's face and "I will tear this house apart and then you until I find my little boy and my little girl."

Kate enters the main room with Bo and Hope who have the guns pointed at Stefano.

Roman says "you better start talking." "Kate says "where are my babies?" "I swear if you have done anything to hurt them we will make you pay."

"I have no idea what you all are talking about?" "I'm sorry to hear about your twins Chase and Kaitlyn, but I didn't do anything." "Why would I take you twins?"

Roman says "because you are the scum of the earth and you kidnapped Sami and Eric when they were babies and because you have made it your life mission to hurt the Brady family."

Kate who is crying says "why would you do this?" "Please tell me where Kaitlyn and Chase are." "Please what do you want from us?"

"I've already said I didn't take your twins."

Roman says "since you have paid someone off to keep us from getting a search warrant we will have to do this our way."

"I want you to leave now." Roman says "make us." Bo and Hope have their guns pointed at Stefano and say to Roman and Kate "go look upstairs and we will keep an eye Stefano."

Kate and Roman go upstairs.

Bo ask Stefano "where the hell is my niece and nephew?"

"I don't know what you are talking about." Stefano replies.

"Yeah right" Bo yells.

Hope says "You are not going to get away with this, your going to be caught."

Roman and Kate search up stairs and in every room in the DiMera mansion.

They can't find anything. Roman and Kate came back down stairs and Kate starts crying and screaming at Stefano "where have you took my babies you son of a bitch?"

"This is not over with, you are going to pay for what you have done." Roman yells at Stefano.

Stefano says "I want you to leave" as he just stands there with a smirk on his face.

This is the last time anyone sees Stefano as he disappears and has not been seen since.

Chapter 5

Back to present time in 2001.

Bo says "we don't know what the connection is with Stefano and the Jensen's." Hope also adds "we just know something big is going to go down, but that's all we know right now."

Roman says "We need to go follow them and see if we can find out anymore details."

"Yeah I'm right behind you big bro."

Kate grabs Roman's hand "can I talk to you for a minuite in your office?"

"What is it Katie?" "Roman you and Bo please be careful and please keep our kids safe."

"You know we will Katie; Bo and I are not going to let anything happen to Rex and Cassie."

"I know" Kate and Roman kiss before they leave his office.

Bo asks Roman "are you ready." "You know it little bro." Hope gives Bo a kiss and tells them to be careful.

Hope says "with everything that's going on I meant to ask you were did you and Roman see Chase and Kaitlyn?

"We were at Dot Com and we saw them talking to Shawn, Belle, and Mimi, and I just felt something when I saw them and just kept looking at them and I just knew it was them."

"I'm so happy that they are home with their family."

I've been waiting for this day since they day Stefano took them for us."

Hope ask "when this is all over and Chase and Kaitlyn find out the truth, are we supposed to call them Rex and Cassie or Chase and Kaitlyn?

"Roman and I were just talking about when you and Bo where with Tek and we think since their names have been Rex and Cassie for 14 years that it would be to much on them to change their names now."

"That's true, plus I really do like the names Rex and Cassie Brady."

"That's just what Roman and I were saying."

"Hope, you should see them."

"Rex is so handsome and Cassie is so beautiful."

"I can't wait to see them; the whole family is going to be over the moon."

Roman and Bo are setting in the car in front of the Jensen house waiting for any sign of them.

Bo says to Roman "I meant to ask but with everything that was going on; were did you see Kaitlyn and Chase at?"

"Kate and I went to Dot Com and saw them talking with Shawn, Belle, and Mimi."

"I'm so happy that they are finally home with the Brady family, were they belong."

"I know we all have been waiting for this day since that 'SOB' Stefano took them for us."

Bo asks Roman "are we going to call them Chase and Kaitlyn or Rex and Cassie?"

"Well Kate and I were just talking about that when you and Hope were talking to Tek and it would be just too much for them to change their names now." "Rex and Cassie are thy only names they know."

"Yeah that is true, plus I really like the names Rex and Cassie."

"That's what Kate and I said."

"Bo, you should see them."

"Cassie, my little girl is so beautiful; she looks so much like Kate and Rex is such a handsome young man."

"I can't wait to see them; the whole family is going be overjoyed."

"I can't wait to see everyone's face when we tell them the wonderful news, especially ma and pop."

Bo and Roman continue talking about the twins when they see the Jensen's leave their house.

Bo and Roman get ready to follow them. The Jensen's get in their car and leave and Bo and Roman quietly follow them.

The Jensen's go to some deserted warehouse outside of Salem and Bo stops the car so they don't see them.

The Jensen's go into the warehouse and Bo and Roman go over to the warehouse to see if they can see anything in the windows.

Bo and Roman quietly go over to the warehouse and look in to see if they see anything.

Roman peaks in the window and Bo whispers "do you see anything?"

"No not… wait a minuite" "what is it?" Bo asks.

Roman whispers "it's the Jensen's, and they are picking up some package."

"Is anyone else with them?" "No it's just them."

Roman and Bo get ready to arrest them. The Jensen's pick up the package and leave the warehouse.

"Thomas and Karen Jensen stop right there, you are both under arrest." Roman and Bo have their guns pointed at them and Roman handcuffs them and Bo takes the package.

"What did we do?" Bo replies "We know you both have been working with Stefano DiMera."

Roman also adds "We also know you both have been involved in a kidnapping from fourteen years ago.

"What are you talking about?" Thomas says.

"Why don't we go to the station and we can talk all about it." Roman says in a stern voice as him and Bo place them in the car.

Chapter 6

At the station

Roman and Bo bring in Thomas and Karen Jensen into the questioning room.

Kate sees Roman and runs over to him and asks him "what happened." Roman tells Kate that they brought in the Jensen's.

"Where are they at?" Kate asks Roman. Roman points "In the room over there."

"Please let me go in there with you and Bo when you question them."

"Katie I don't know if that's such a good idea." "Why is that?"

"I don't want you to get upset." "Roman, I can handle being in there."

Bo goes over to Roman and asks "are you ready to go in there and talk to the Jensen's." and Roman says "yes and that Kate is going to go in there with us."

Bo looks at Roman and Kate "are you sure that's a good idea?" "Bo I'm going in there so don't ask Roman if it's a good idea or not."

Hope walks over "do you want me to go in there with you all?" Bo says "It's ok, we got it." Kate says "I would like for my best friend to be in there with me, please."

Bo and Roman say "ok" Roman takes Kate a side and holds her hand "Katie are you sure you can handle this?" "Yes, Roman I can handle this."

Kate and Roman share a kiss as Kate takes a deep breath as Roman places his hand on Kate's back and holds her close before they walk in the room.

Roman, Kate, Bo, and Hope all walk into the holding room.

Thomas Jensen says "Why are we even here?"

Roman looks at Thomas "I think you know why the both of you are here."

"No, I don't; so if we can just get this over with." Thomas replies with a smirk.

Roman gets up in Thomas's face.

"Don't play dumb with me; you both know what I'm talking about."

Bo pulls Roman aside.

"Big bro; you got to calm down."

"Little bro; this is personal, these two along with that piece of scum Stefano are the reasons why Kate and I had Chase and Kaitlyn taken away from us when they just babies and you are telling me to calm down?"

"I know and I'm sorry; I would be the same way if this had happened to Shawn D or Zach.

"Ok, then."

Kate and Hope walk over and both ask "if everything is ok?"

"Yes, everything is fine." Roman and Bo both reply.

Bo and Roman question the Jensen's about Stefano DiMera.

"Tell us everything you know about Stefano DiMera."

"We don't know who you are talking about?"

Roman gets in front of Thomas's face.

"That's a lie."

"You better start talking." Roman adds.

Tek comes in and ask to speak with Bo and Roman.

Bo, Roman, Hope, and Kate leave the holding room.

Tek says "We know what was in the package that the Jensen's picked up."

"Well, what was in the package?"

"It's a bunch of papers."

Roman says "what kind of papers?"

"It's about Rex and Cassie."

Roman takes Kate's hand.

"Tek, damn it tell us what those papers said." Roman says.

"Pretty much everything between Stefano DiMera and Thomas and Karen Jensen about how Stefano had Chase and Kaitlyn kidnapped and it has copies of their birth certificates along with Rex and Cassie's new birth certificates."

Kate says "Oh my God."

Tek says "Rex and Cassie are in fact Chase and Kaitlyn."

Roman says that "That son of a bitch."

Roman runs into the holding room and grabs Thomas and punches him.

Bo runs in and holds him back.

"Let me go Bo."

Bo takes Roman aside.

"These SOB's along with that piece of scum Stefano are the reason why Kate and I had our babies kidnapped from us."

"I know, and they are all going to pay for what they have done to our family."

"Right now, you need to just calm down, so we can arrest them"

"Ok."

Roman and Bo then get out their handcuffs.

"Thomas and Karen Jensen; you are both under arrest for the kidnapping of Chase and Kaitlyn Brady."

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you before any questioning, if you wish. If you decide to answer any questions now, without an attorney present, you will still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to an attorney. Knowing and understanding your rights as I have explained them to you, are you willing to answer my questions without an attorney present?"

Chapter 7

“Who are Chase and Kaitlyn Brady?” Thomas asks?

“They’re my kids, you son of a bitch.” Roman yells.

“Chase and Kaitlyn are my kids, who you both along with that piece of scum Stefano DiMera had them kidnapped from me and my wife Kate when they where just one years old..”

“We know that you have changed their names to Rex and Cassie Jensen.”

“Do you have any idea what my family and I have been through for the last fourteen years?” Roman yells.

“You have no idea what it is like to have the most important thing in you life taken away from you and searching, and searching for them and not being able to find them.” Roman says in a heartrendingly voice.

Karen says “I’m so sorry for what you and your family have went through, but Rex and Cassie are our kids and I would like to call them.”

“NO, you are not going to call them, they are not your kids, and we are going to bring them in and tell them everything.” Roman says.

Roman also adds “Bo, take them to the cell and get them out of my face.”

“You got it bro.”

Bo puts them both in a holding cell.

“We each get a phone call don’t we?”

Bo looks at them “You are not calling anyone.” and leaves

Roman and Kate are talking.

“Roman; how do you think Rex and Cassie are going to handle this?”

“I don’t know, Katie.”

Tek gives Roman all the papers that where in the box.”

“Thanks Tek.”

“No problem and I’m so happy for you both Caption Brady and Mrs. Brady.”

“Thanks Tek” Roman says.

“Thanks so much Tek.” Kate adds.

"Sure no problem"

Tek leaves Roman’s office.

Kate asks “What else does papers say, Roman?”

“Well, it says their full names where changed too; Rex Christopher Jensen and Cassie Noelle Jensen.

“Rex Christopher Brady and Cassie Noelle Brady; I love the names.” Kate says with a smile as she wipes tears from her eyes.

Roman puts his hands on Kate’s face and wipes the tears from her eyes “Me too, Katie” as he leans in and kisses her.

Roman is holding Kate when there is a knock on the door.

“Come in.” Bo and Hope go into Roman’s office.

“We have officer Holden bringing in Rex and Cassie.”

“Ok, thanks little bro.”

“So are you both ok?” Hope asks

“Yes, we’ve been wanting for this day for so long.”

Hope says to Bo “lets go fix us all some coffee and give them some privacy.”

“Ok, you’re the boss.” As they all laugh.

“That’s right and don’t you ever forget it.” Chuckles Hope.

Bo and Hope leave.

“Roman, I’m just so worried about how Cassie and Rex are going to be able to handle this, they are only fifteen.”

“I know Katie; but we are all going to get through this together.”

“I wonder what their life has been like for the last fourteen years.”

Just as Roman starts to talk, there is a knock at the door.

“Come in.”

Bo enters

“Rex and Cassie are here.”

“Are you ready for me to send them in?”

“Yes.”

“Roman, how are we going to tell them all this?”

“Don’t worry; everything is going to be fine.”

Bo sends in Rex and Cassie.

Hope says to Bo “This is the first time we’ve seen them in fourteen years and I just want to hug them; they look so much like Kate and Roman.”

“I know I can’t wait for everyone else find out that Chase and Kaitlyn have been found, especially ma and pop.” Roman says.

“We will have a big celebration at the pub for the whole family.” Hope replies.

“Yep” Bo replies as he kisses Hope.

Rex and Cassie both set down and ask “What’s wrong?”

Roman says “Well, I don’t know how to tell you this, but it’s about Thomas and Karen Jensen.”

Cassie asks “what is wrong with our parents?”

“Has something happened to our parents?” Rex adds.

“Yes, they have both been arrested.” Roman tells them.

“Why?”

Roman looks at Kate and then back at the twins.

“Because they where involved in a kidnapping fourteen years ago.”

“What” Rex says?”

“Who did they kidnap; this has to be some mistake.” Cassie adds.

Roman says “No, it’s no mistake, The Jensen’s along with Stefano DiMera where involved in the kidnapping.”

Cassie says “but who did they kidnap then?”

Roman and Kate look at each other.

“Fourteen years ago they where involved in a kidnapping of twin babies named Chase and Kaitlyn Brady on their first birthday” Roman says while fighting back tears.

When Cassie hears Roman say the names Chase and Kaitlyn Brady she puts her hands over her mouth in shock.

“Those two babies are you two.” Kate says while crying.

“What?” Rex and Cassie say in shock.

“We where kidnapped as babies?” Rex says.

“Yes” Kate and Roman both say.

“Oh my God it makes sense now.”

Rex says to Cassie “What are you talking about Cass?”

Roman says to Cassie “What do you mean?”

“Well, first of all we never looked anything like them, people always asked if we where adopted.”

“Second of all the other week while I was in the attic when we packing up stuff I came across a box that had two sets of birth certificates in them with our names on one and the names of Chase Aaron Brady and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Brady on the other and both had the same birth date.”

"Also, the birth certificate for Chase and Kaitlyn Brady said that they where born at Salem University Hospital in Salem, Illinois to Roman and Kate Brady and our other birth certificate says we were born at Denver Memorial Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

"So is Denver where you both have been living all this time?" Roman and Kate ask.

“Yes” Rex and Cassie answer.

Roman asks Cassie “Did you ask Thomas or Karen about the birth certificates?”

No, I was going to but then we didn’t?

“How long has been since you found the birth certificates?” Roman adds.

“Just a few weeks ago before we moved to Salem.” Cassie replies.

Rex then adds “Wait; why didn’t you tell me?”

“I was going too, I just found out last week myself.”

“I did a little research on the computer and when I typed up the names Chase and Kaitlyn Brady Salem and a whole bunch of articles came up about their kidnapping and the pictures of us looked just like ours from when we little.”

“Also, we don’t have any pictures from the first year of our life.” Cassie adds.

“Yeah, whenever we asked about it, they told us they where all destroyed in a flood.” Rex says.

“I’ve been starting to think we might be them, but I was afraid of asking about it.”

“I’m sorry Rex for not telling you, because I didn’t want you to go asking mom and dad about it?”

When Cassie realizes she called the Jensen’s mom and dad in front of Kate and Roman and she feels bad.”

“I’m so sorry; I didn’t mean to call them that.”

“It’s ok sweetheart.” Roman says

“So we are not Rex and Cassie Jensen, we are Chase and Kaitlyn Brady?”

“Yes.”

Cassie asks “Then who are our real parents, do you know them?”

Rex then says “Oh my God; you’re our parents.”

Cassie says “How do you know?”

“Because when we where at dot com and after you left with Jason; Shawn asked them to come over and after I shook both their hands and introduced myself then Kate left upset.”

“I asked what was wrong and that’s when Shawn and Belle towed me the story of what had happened to their twins Chase and Kaitlyn Brady.”

“Shawn and Belle also said how it was weird how I looked like what Chase could look like today and how we are twins and the same age as Chase and Kaitlyn and how much Cassie looks like Kate.”

“This means if we are Chase and Kaitlyn then you are our parents.”

Kate and Roman both say “Yes, we are your parents.”

‘You don’t know how happy we are to have found you both; we all have been searching for you both of you for fourteen years. Kate says.

“Our lives have not been the same since you both where took from us.” Roman adds.

Roman takes a framed picture off of his desk and shows it to Rex and Cassie.

“This is the both of you on your first birthday, it was the last picture taken of you on the day you were both were taken from us.”

Cassie takes the picture from Roman’s hands and sets back down as her and stares at the picture with Rex.

“Oh my God; Rex that’s the picture I saw on the old The Salem Spectator article on the internet. Cassie says crying.

“I know there is a lot talk about.” Roman says.

Rex and Cassie both get up and hug and kiss their parents for the first time in fourteen years.

Everyone is crying.

Kate and Roman are hugging their kids tightly and not letting go.

“You both are so beautiful.” Kate says

“This is the first time I’ve hugged and kissed you both in fourteen years” Kate says.

“You don’t know how much we’ve been wanting for this day to come.” Roman says crying as he holds his little girl in his arms and kisses the top of her head.

There is a knock on the door.

Roman says “Come in.”

Its Bo and Hope

“How is everything?

“Everything is fine little brother, they know the truth now.”

Cassie says “so he is your brother?”

“Yes, this goofball is my little brother Bo and that lovely lady beside him is his wife Hope.”

Rex and Cassie both give Bo and Hope hugs.

Bo and Hope leave and give them all some privacy.

Cassie and Rex both ask “do we have any siblings?”

“Yes, you have a bunch of half older siblings.” Roman tells them.

Kate also tells them “You are both our youngest kids.”

“What are their names?” Rex and Cassie ask.

Roman tells them “my other kids are Carrie, Eric, and Sami.”

Roman also adds “Eric and Sami are twins.”

Kate tells them “my other kids are “Austin, Billie, Lucas, and Philip.”

“I believe you both have already met your brother Philip.”

“Yes, we meet him at Dot Com.”

Bo and Hope say “Whenever you are already, we can get the whole family at the pub.”

Roman says “let’s just take them to see ma and pop first.”

Roman says “are you ready to meet your Grandpa Shawn and Grandma Caroline?”

“Yes.”

“Wait, can Cassie and I talk to them before we go?” Rex asks.

“Sure, but we have to be in there with you.” Roman says.

“That’s fine because I want you both to be in there; I’ve got something I want tell them and I want you both to hear it.”

Roman asks Rex and Cassie “are you ready?”

“Yes”

"Ok, lets go” Roman says.

Chapter 8

Roman takes Rex, Cassie, along with Kate to the cell where the Jensen's are being held in.

The Jensen's see the Rex and Cassie come in with Roman and Kate."

"Rex, Cassie, thank goodness you both are here."

Roman tells them "The only reason why they are here is because Rex asked if he could speak with you."

Rex goes over to them, but Cassie stays back.

Thomas says "Son I'm glad to see you" as Rex walks towards him.

"Save it."

"Excuse me son?"

"Don't call me your son."

"What are you talking about Rex?"

"Don't you mean Chase?"

"I don't know what they've told you, but it's not true."

Roman walks over to Thomas "Shut up, they know the truth now and we can even have a DNA test."

Rex says "There is no need for that, it all makes sense now."

"We never looked like you, everyone thought we were adopted, just looking at Kate and Roman I can tell they are mine and Cassie's mom and dad, we look so much like them."

Roman says "We know the truth now, so why don't you both just admit the two of you and Stefano where behind their kidnapping."

Rex says "how could you kidnap us from our real parents when we were babies, how could you take us from Kate and Roman; who seem like the greatest parents in the world?"

Rex says "Just admit it; you had us kidnapped by whoever this Stefano DiMera is?"

"Admit it damn it." Rex yells at Thomas.

Karen says "Yes, I can't take it anymore."

Thomas says "Shut up, what are you doing?"

"They already know everything."

"That's right, we do." Roman says.

Cassie walks over "How could you do this?" "How could you have two babies kidnapped from their parents and family?"

Cassie says "can we leave now?

"Yes, sweetheart we can." Roman says.

"Are you ready Rex?" Roman asks.

"Yes."

As they all leave The Jensen's say "Rex, Cassie."

Roman walks over to the Jensen's "You will pay for this."

"Now tell me where the hell is that scum Stefano being hiding out these last fourteen years?"

"You think I'm going to tell you?" Thomas says.

Roman says "We will see about that."

Kate walks over to The Jensen's "How could you and Stefano do this to us; how could you take away our babies from us?"

"You will not get away with this?"

Kate and Roman leave.

Thomas says to Karen "We got to get out of here and get in touch with Stefano and tell him what has happened."

"I knew it was a bad idea to come to Salem." Thomas adds.

Roman goes back to the office.

Roman says "we have got so much to catch up on."

Are you all ready to go to the Brady Pub?"

"Yes"

Roman says "The Brady Pub is part of the Brady family; my ma Caroline and pop Shawn own the place."

"Wow that's so cool." Cassie and Rex say.

"Before we leave, let me talk to Bo." Roman says.

Roman goes over to Bo "Bo, we are going to the pub and give ma and pop the best surprise of the lives, are you and Hope coming?"

"You know it; I wouldn't miss this for anything."

"Ok, we meet you there bro."

"Ok"

Roman, Kate, Rex, and Cassie leave the station to go to the Brady pub.
