Wonderful chapter. I agree, this is the way that Rex and Cassie should have been introduced to Salem. Can't wait to see Caroline and Shawn's reaction. Along with the reaction of the rest of the family. This is going to be GOOD! Of course, I also can't wait to see what happens to the Jensens when Stefano finds out that Kate & Roman got their children back!!

I'm working on the next two chapters, Also instead of Rex, Cassie, and The Jensen's being in Philadelphia, I've changed it to Boston.
Also should Chase and Kaitlyn been kiddnapped by Stefano at one or two? Should I leave at them being one?

Can someone help me with a little info. I've looked it up and gives different answers because each baby is different.
I was wondering how old are most babies when the start, talking, crawling, saying mama and dada?

Babies generally start crawling between about 6 months to 8 months. Talking is usually after a year other than babbling and maybe mama or dada.

Chapter 9
Roman, Kate, Rex, and Cassie arrive at the Brady Pub.
Roman and Kate ask their kids “Are you both ready?”
“Yes we are mom and dad.” Rex and Cassie say smiling.
Kate starts crying when she hears her twins call her mom.
“That’s the first time we’ve heard you call us mom and dad in fourteen years.” Kate says as she hugs her kids.
Roman is trying to fight the tears.
“Your first words where mama and dada when your both eight months old.” Roman says as he hugs his kids and starts crying.
Flashback to Chase and Kaitlyn’s saying their first words. August 1996.
Kate is at the Brady pub with Chase and Kaitlyn who are in their highchairs.
“Ok my sweet babies it’s time for lunch.” Kate says to Chase and Kaitlyn.
Kate is feeding the twins when Roman comes in on his break.
Roman walks over to Kate and gives her a kiss and then gives his twins each a kiss on the head.
“Katie; how is everything going with Chase and Kaitlyn?” Roman is playing with his twin babies.
Kaitlyn and Chase are smiling and giggling.
“Everything is fine, just trying to feed them their lunch.”
“Let’s see what kind of food you got there Chasey, Kaity-Bug?” Roman says.
“So you are having bananas today” Roman says as he feeds Chase and Kate feeds Kaitlyn.
‘Mama” Chase says.
“Oh my God Roman; Chase said his first word.” Smiling
“That’s my little man.” Roman says.
“Dada” Kaitlyn says.
“Oh my God Kaitlyn and Chase both say their first words in the same day. Kate says smiling.
“That’s my little girl.” Roman says as he picks up Kaitlyn and Kate picks up Chase.
Back to present time.
“Let me go in first and then I will signal for you to all come in.” Roman says.
“Ok”
Roman goes inside.
“Roman.” Caroline says “son” Grandpa Shawn says.
“Ma, pop; I’ve got the best news in the world.”
“The best news in the world would be if Chase and Kaitlyn have been found alive and safe.” Caroline says.
“That it would” Shawn says.
Roman smiles.
“Oh my God Roman; have Chase and Kaitlyn been found?” Caroline and Shawn say?
“Yes ma, pop.”
“Son, where are they at.” Shawn says.
“Pop, Ma; there is something I need to tell you first; their names have been changed to Rex and Cassie.”
“I will explain everything to you later.”
“Ok, please now let us see our grandchildren.”
“Ok”
Roman signals for Kate, Rex, and Cassie to come in.
Caroline and Shawn see their grandchildren for the first time in fourteen years.
Caroline and Shawn are crying with joy.
“Oh my God Shawn look at them; oh Shawn, just look at them.”
“I know love; they are just beautiful.”
Roman, Kate, Rex and Cassie walk over to Shawn and Caroline.
Roman says “Rex, Cassie, this is your grandma Caroline and grandpa Shawn.”
Rex and Cassie both say “hello, grandma, grandpa.”
Shawn and Caroline hug and kiss their grandchildren.
Caroline takes Rex and Cassie’s hands.
“We have been waiting for this day since you where taken from us.” Caroline says.
“You two are just beautiful.” Caroline and Shawn say.
“Thank you so much.” Rex and Cassie say.
Caroline and Shawn continue to make over the grandkids.
“We got to have a celebration and call the whole family.” Shawn says in his Irish accent.
Just then Bo and Hope walk in.
“That’s right” Bo and Hope say.
Caroline and Shawn both say “who else know?”
“Just all of us” Roman says.
“Tomorrow we will close the Brady Pub and have the celebration.” Caroline says.
Roman, Kate, Cassie, Rex all set down at the booth.
Roman says “this is not too much for you at once?”
“No, we are just so thankful to be reunited with her real family.” Rex and Cassie say.
Kate says “We are thankful too; there is so much for all of us to talk about.”
“So tell us about our siblings, do they all live in Salem?”
Roman tells them about Carrie, Sami, and Eric.
“Carrie and her husband Dr. Mike Horton are living in Israel, Eric lives in Colorado Springs, and he is a photographer and Sami lives here in Salem and has a son Will Horton.”
Cassie says “Oh my God I’m an aunt.” smiling.
“That’s so cool that I’m an uncle.” Rex replies.
“How old is Will?”
Roman says “He is six.”
“Also Sami and Eric are twins as well; so twins run on the Brady side of the family.”
“Oh that is so cool.”
Kate now tells them about Austin, Billie, Lucas, and Philip.
“Austin is living in NYC with his fiancée Erin, Billie is living in London, Lucas lives here in Salem and Will is his son with Sami, and Philip whom you both met at dot com and he is going to be a senior at Salem High in the fall.”
“Yeah Belle told us that Philip was going to be a senior and he was like thank goodness.” Rex says.
“Wow, we’ve got a big family.” Cassie says with tears in her eyes.
“Yes you do, and a big family who loves more than anything and we are all thankful that you are back with your family.” Roman and Kate say.
“Tell us about all of our family, all of uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.” Rex and Cassie say.
“We you already know Bo is my brother and Hope is his wife and they have two kids; Shawn and Zach.”
Rex and Cassie both say “Cool, Shawn is our cousin.”
“Yes and you’re all the same age so you will all be sophomores in the fall along with Belle.”
Rex says “Cassie and I’ve also meet Mimi, Jan, and Jason, too.”
“Do you have any other sibling’s beside Bo dad?”
“Yes, and I’m the oldest; and then my sister Kimberly who is married to Shane and they have a son Andrew and daughter Jeannie and they live in Los Angeles; and then my sister Kayla who is a doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital and she is married to Steve and they have a daughter Stephanie and they live in Baltimore; and then there of course is my baby brother Bo.”
“Wow” the twins say.
Roman also says “my sister Kayla delivered you both.”
Shawn walks over to Caroline and put his arm around her “Our family is finally back together.” As he kiss her head.
“I know we are truly blessed that Rex and Cassie have returned to alive and well.”
They go over to Roman, Kate, Rex, and Cassie.
“Ma, pop, we are just telling Rex and Cassie about the family.”
“That’s wonderful son; we are just so overjoyed our babies are back home with their family.”
“I know ma, pop, Kate and I are truly blessed to have our son and daughter back.”
“We are the luckiest parents in the world.” Kate adds to what Roman said.
‘We’ve got a lot to catch up on.” Shawn and Caroline say as they are holding Rex and Cassie’s hand.
“Yes we do.” Rex and Cassie say.
“Hey, I’ve just thought of something.” Rex says.
“What is it son?” Roman says.
“Which one of us was born first?”
Kate tells them “Rex you where born first and then Cassie was born 5 minutes later.”
“YES!” Rex says.
Everyone laughs.
“We where told that I was born first by 10 minutes, so Rex is going to enjoy saying he is the older twin like I always did. Cassie says laughing.
“What we like the first year of our lives with you?” Cassie says.
“You both were very happy babies and you loved being with your family.” Kate says.
“You two where inseparable; you didn’t like being away from each other.” Roman says.
Roman takes out a picture from his wallet that was taken the day the twins where born.
“This picture was taken the day you both where born.” Roman says as he hands the picture to Rex and Cassie.
Cassie starts to cry. “I’m sorry; it’s just I don’t understand why someone would’ve had us kidnapped from our beautiful family.”
“Honey, there is nothing to be sorry about; we can’t stop crying either.” Kate says.
“Stefano DiMera’s life mission is to destroy our family.” Roman says.
“Tomorrow you get to see everyone else at your welcome home party.”
“What about Carrie, Eric, Austin, and Billie; they don’t live in Salem.”
“We are going to call them and tell them and we know they will be back as soon as they can.” Roman says.
“You don’t know how much they all have missed you.” Kate says.
It starts getting late so Roman and Kate ask Rex and Cassie “If they are getting tired and want to go home?”
“Yeah I am getting kind of tired.” Cassie says.
“Me too and it’s been a big day.” Rex says as everyone laughs.
“What about our stuff?” Cassie says.
“We can go get your stuff and then go home?” Roman says.
“Ok” Rex and Cassie replies.
Roman, Kate, Rex, and Cassie all get up.
“Ma, pop, we are going to get the twins stuff and go home and we will back tomorrow.”
“Ok son” They both hug Roman and Kate.
Bo and Hope walk over “We also got to get Zach; Doug and Julie are watching him.”
Shawn and Caroline hug and kiss their grandchildren and tell them “We will see you both tomorrow.”
“Yes and we got lots to catch up on.” Rex and Cassie say.
Roman tells Caroline, Shawn. Bo, and Hope “don’t tell anyone else; we want to tell everyone else at once and for it to be a surprise.”
“Ok” they all say.
Bo and Hope hug Rex and Cassie and tell them “We will see you both tomorrow.”
“Ok”
Roman asks “Are you two ready?”
“Yes.”
Roman, Kate, Rex, Cassie, Bo, and Hope all leave the Brady pub.

I say no to Zachary as it was Bo and Hope's son's name. Madeline was also the name of Chad's call girl mother so that would be a connection to Stefano.
My best suggestion is to keep it simple.
