Sweet ending to the chapter. I really liked the flashback. It was so sad. Thanks and yeah I know the flashback was so sad and that's why added the flashback in this chapter so I could add the happy sweet ending and the flashback just seemed to fit with this chapter. Don't you think? |

Chapter 13
Roman, Kate, Cassie, and Rex arrive at the Brady pub.
Pop; so we are the first ones here?”
“Yes son”
“I was hoping we would be.”
Caroline and Shawn give Rex and Cassie big hugs.
“How are you both doing?”
“I’m doing great grandpa, grandma.” Rex and Cassie both say.
Bo, Hope, Zach, and Shawn come in.
Shawn goes over to Rex and Cassie.
“Hey do you know what’s going on?” Shawn asks.
“Yes we do.” Rex says.
“Well what is it?”
“We can’t tell you right now; it’s a surprise.” Cassie says.
Lucas, Sami, and Will come in.
Belle, Marlena, John, and Brady arrive.
Belle goes over to Shawn, Rex, and Cassie.”
Belle gives Shawn a kiss.
Philip comes in.
Roman asks for everyone’s attention.
“Can I have everyone’s attention please?”
“What’s this about dad?” Sami asks.
“I’m fixing to tell you all that.”
Everybody is wondering what is going on that doesn’t already know yet.
Kate stands beside Roman.
“Kate and I have the greatest news in the world to tell you all.”
Everybody expect for Bo, Hope, Caroline, and Grandpa Shawn ask what’s going on.
“Yesterday Kate and I found Chase and Kaitlyn.”
Everybody is overjoyed hearing the news and asks where are they at.”
Sami, Lucas, and Philip run over to Roman and Kate.
“Where are Chase and Kaitlyn dad?” Sami asks.
“I’m fixing to tell you all that.”
“Well first of all their names have been changed and their names are not Chase and Kaitlyn.”
“What are their names?” Lucas asks.
“Their names are Rex and Cassie.”
Philip looks over at Rex and Cassie. “Oh my God Rex and Cassie are Chase and Kaitlyn.” Philip says.
Sami, Lucas, and Philip all hug their younger siblings Rex and Cassie.
“We are all so happy that you both have been found and are safe back with the Brady family.” Sami says.
“Yes we are.” Lucas and Philip both say.
“Yes we are too.” Cassie and Rex both say
Lucas, Sami, Philip, Rex and Cassie all talk.
“Oh my God Shawn; Rex and Cassie are Chase and Kaitlyn.” Belle says cheerfully.
“I knew it; they look so much like Uncle Roman and Aunt Kate and they are twins and the same age that Chase and Kaitlyn would be.” Shawn says.
“This is wonderful news.” Belle says.
Bo and Hope go over to Shawn and Belle and talk to them.
“This is wonderful news.” Belle and Shawn say.
“Yes it is.”
“Wait did you already know about this? Shawn asks.
“Yes we both found out yesterday as did ma and pop.” Bo says.
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Shawn asks.
“Because Roman and Kate asked us not tell anyone yet.” Hope says.
“Ok, I understand that.”
Sami, Lucas, and Philip are all talking to Rex and Cassie.
“We are all so glad you are home and safe.” Sami says.
Everyone is overjoyed with the great news and continues to celebrate.
It’s a couple of hours later.
Eric arrives.
“Hey everyone”
“Eric” everyone says.
Sami runs over and hugs her twin brother.
Roman and Marlena go hug Eric.
“Why didn’t you tell me you where coming to Salem.” Marlena says.
“Well I just got a call from dad this morning about Rex and Cassie and I had to get to Salem right away; so where are my little sister and brother?”
“Rex, Cassie” Roman says as he waves from them to come over.
“This is your bother Eric.” Roman says.
“I’m so happy that you’re both are back home with your family.” Eric says as he hugs his siblings.
“We are so happy too and so glad that you are here.” Rex and Cassie both say.
Rex, Cassie, Sami. Eric, Lucas, and Philip set at the table talking and laughing while Kate and Roman watch their kids.
“I wish Austin was able to be here and see Rex and Cassie.” Kate says.
“Yeah and I wish Carrie could be here to see them; but they will reunite very soon.” Roman replies.
“I know” Kate says.
A couple hours later
Roman is talking to Carrie on the phone.
“I love you too Care Bear.” Roman says to Carrie.
After Roman gets off the phone with Carrie he goes over to Kate, Rex and Cassie.
“I just got done talking to Carrie, and she is over the moon to hear her baby brother and sister are alive and safe back home with their family.”
“Will Carrie be coming to Salem anytime soon?” Cassie asks.
“Carrie said she hopes to get back to Salem with in the next couple weeks.”
“That’s great.” Rex and Cassie both say.
“Carrie can’t wait to get back to Salem and see you both.”
“We can’t wait to see her too and Austin.”
Roman and Kate asks Cassie “Honey, how is you asthma, are you doing fine?”
“Yes I’m fine.”
Meanwhile Stefano is at the empty Jensen’s house. The Jensen’s are still in jail at the Salem Police Department without bail.
A few more hours pass and most everyone starts to leave after everyone gives each other hugs and says see you later.
It’s about 8:00 pm.
Caroline turns the sign over to say open.
Mimi and Jason come in and walk over to Rex, Cassie, Belle and Shawn.
“Mimi, Jason we have go the best news ever.” Bell says cheerfully.
“What is it?” “What?” Mimi and Jason say.
“So you know about Kate and Roman’s twins Chase and Kaitlyn who where kidnapped by Stefano DiMera.” Belle says.
“Yes” Mimi and Jason replies.
“Well Rex and Cassie are them; Kate and Roman have found their twins.” Belle says.
“That is wonderful news.” Mimi says to Rex and Cassie.
“Yeah that is great news.” Jason says to Cassie and Rex.
“So what do you want to do?” Shawn says to Belle, Rex, Cassie, Mimi and Jason.
“You all want to go to Buddy's Burger Barn for some Burgers? Belle asks.
“Yeah that sounds cool.” Everyone says.
Roman, Kate, Bo and Hope are all talking.
Shawn, Rex and Cassie go ask their parents if they can over to Dot Com, Jason walks over with them while Belle goes over to ask Marlena and John if it’s ok and Mimi walks with her.
“Mom, Dad we are all going over to Buddy's Burger Barn for a little bit, is that ok?” Shawn asks.
“Yeah just be home by 10:00.” Hope says.
“No problem.” Shawn replies.
“Is it ok if we go too?” Cassie asks.
“Yes, but you both be home by the same time.” Roman says.
“Ok, we will.” Rex says.
Bo gives Shawn some money and Roman gives Rex and Cassie some money.
“Thank you.”
Belle and Mimi return.
“I can go too, but got to be home by 10:00.” Belle says.
“Yes, us too” Shawn, Rex and Cassie all say.
This kids leave and Roman notices that Jason and Cassie are flirting with each other which he doesn’t like.
“What’s wrong big bro?”
“I don’t like Jason Masters around my little girl.”
“Oh yeah, didn’t Jason get brought into the station one night?” Bo says.
“Yes he and some other guy had got into a fight and Jason gave me a bunch of attitude.” Roman replies.
“Roman; Cassie is with Rex, Shawn, Belle and Mimi.” Kate says.
“That’s right; Cassie is going to fine Roman.” Hope says.
Caroline and Shawn bring them all some coffee as they continue to talk.
Meanwhile at Buddy's Burger Barn the teens are enjoying their food, laughing and having a good time.
“So Rex when school starts are you going to try out for football or/and basketball?” Shawn D. asks.
“Yeah I played basketball at my old high school.”
“I bet you are great.” Mimi says with a smile as Rex smiles back.
“Cassie, are you going to try out for cheerleading with Meems and me?” Belle asks?
“Yes most definitely; I was on the cheerleading team back at my old high school.”
“That’s awesome.” Belle and Mimi say.
Jason smiles and says “I bet you look good in your cheerleading uniform.”
Cassie smiles as Jason puts his arm around her.
“So what do you all want to do now?” Shawn D. asks.
“Well let’s see, its 9:00 and all of our curfews are at 10:00 pm, so that gives us one hour.” Belle says.
“Well I don’t have a curfew.” Jason says as he winks at Cassie.
“Yeah, well we all do Jason.” Belle says.
“Rex would you like to go for a walk?” Mimi asks
“Yeah that would be nice.”
“We will be right back in 10 minutes.” Rex says.
“Ok”
Jason is very flirty with Cassie.
“Excuse me but I need to go the bathroom, I will be right back.” Cassie says.
Cassie leaves.
“Jason what the heck do you think you doing.” Belle asks.
“What are you talking about?”
“You know what I’m talking about; I’m talking about you being so forward with Cassie.” Belle replies.
“I like Cassie a lot.” Jason says.
“You do know that Cassie’s dad is Captain Roman Brady?” Belle says.
“Yeah and my uncle Roman will kill you if you do anything to hurt his daughter.” Shawn adds.
“I’m not scared of him.” Jason says sarcastically.
“You better be and you will not hurt my cousin Jason.” Shawn D. says.
“Whatever.” Jason says.
Cassie returns.
Meanwhile Rex and Mimi are outside.
“It sure is a pretty night; look at all those pretty stars.” Mimi says.
“I’m looking at the prettiest star.” Rex says.
“Which one are you looking at?”
“You Mimi”
“Rex that is sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me.”
“Mimi would you like to get to the movies this Friday night.”
“Yes I would love that.”
“I guess we need to go back in now.” Rex says.
“Yeah I guess.”
Rex gives Mimi a kiss on the check underneath the stars.
“Rex you are such a gentleman.”
Rex smiles and they head back in.
Rex and Mimi go back to the booth and set down with everyone.
“its 9:30 so I guess we better be leaving.” Belle says.
“Shawn and Jason are both already 16 and have cars while Belle, Cassie, Rex and Mimi are still 15.
Shawn tells Belle, Rex, Cassie and Mimi “I will take you all home.”
“Ok” they all say.
“Wait, I will take Cassie home.” Jason says.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Rex says.
“Yeah I agree.” Belle and Shawn say.
“Why don’t we let Cassie decide who she would rather take her home?” Jason says.
“My sister is going home with us.”
“Rex you are not the boss of me.”
“Jason, will you please take me home?”
“You got it babe.”
“I will see you at home Rex.”
Jason and Cassie leave.
Shawn, Belle, Rex and Mimi leave too.
Meanwhile Kate and Roman are at home in their kitchen drinking some coffee and waiting for Rex and Cassie to get home.
“This is our first night we are waiting up for Rex and Cassie as teens.” Kate says.
“I know the last time we where up all night with them we where feeding them and changing diapers. Roman says with a chuckle.
Rex comes in and goes into the kitchen.
“Rex where is Cassie.”
“She is not home yet.”
“No, Rex where is she at.” Roman says.
“Shawn said he would take Cassie, Belle, Mimi and me home and that is when Jason said I will take Cassie home; I told Cassie that she was coming home with us and then Cass said that I was not the boss of her and left with Jason.”
“So Jason is driving my daughter home alone in his car at night?” Roman says very worried.
“Dad I’m sorry I tried to get her to go home with us but when Jason offered to take her home she wanted to go with him.”
“Rex it’s ok, why don’t you go on to bed.” Roman says.
“Ok, night mom, night dad.”
“Night son” Roman says.
“Night sweetheart” Kate says.
Rex goes upstairs to his room.
“Roman do you think Cassie is ok?”
“I don’t want Jason around Cassie; I know that kid is trouble.”
“Roman it is 9:50, so she still has 10 minutes before she has to be home.”
“I know and if Jason does anything to hurt my little girl he will regret it.”
“Yes he will.” Kate replies.
Jason drives to Salem Park and parks the car.
“Jason I have to be home in 10 minutes.”
“Don’t worry Cassie; I will take you home soon.”
Jason moves closer to Cassie.
“Cassie you are so beautiful.” Jason says as he starts kissing her.
“Jason please stop.”
“Why”
“Jason we just meet the other day; and I want to get to know you first.”
“That stuff is overrated” Jason says as gets touchy feely.
“Jason please stop.” Cassie says as she starts to cry.
“Cassie don’t be a baby.”
“I’m not, please take me home now.”
Back at the Brady house
“Roman I’m worried its past 10:00.”
“I’m worried too; I’ve never liked that Jason kid; I will put out an APB if I have too.”

Chapter 14
“Roman it’s almost 10:30; I’m very worried.”
“Katie I just put on an APB; I went and asked Rex what kind of car Jason was driving and I’m going out to look for her.”
“Roman please be careful and bring our daughter home safe.”
“Katie don’t worry I will be fine and I will bring Cassie home safe.”
“I know you will; where are you going to check first.”
“I’m going to go to Salem Park and check first because I’ve just got a gut feeling.”
“Ok be careful.”
“I will Katie.”
Roman gives Kate a kiss and leaves.
Back at Salem park
“Jason I said stop.” Cassie pushes Jason away.
“Cassie what’s you problem.”
“I just meet you and I’m not that kind of girl.
Jason will not stop pressuring Cassie.
“Cassie I really want you and no girl has ever told me no before.”
“Well now I’m the first girl to tell you No.”
“Come on Cassie.”
“No please take me home now.”
Jason then gets on top of Cassie and starts kissing her again and starts putting his hand up her shirt. Cassie is trying to push him away.
“Jason please stop.”
Jason will not listen to Cassie.
Roman arrives at Salem Park and sees a car that fits the description of the car that Jason drives.
“JASON PLESE STOP.” Cassie screams as she is crying for him to stop.
Cassie starts having trouble breathing and needs her inhaler.
Roman hears Cassie scream and runs over to the car and opens the door and sees it is Jason.
Roman grabs Jason out of the car.
“Get the hell away from my daughter you son of a bitch.”
Roman punches Jason and then handcuffs him and calls the SPD to come
Cassie gets out of the car and gets her inhaler out.”
Roman runs over to Cassie who is crying and shaking.
“Sweetheart are you ok?”
“Daddy I was so scared.”
Roman holds his daughter.
“It’s going to be ok baby girl.”
“I’m so sorry daddy; I should have gone home with Rex, Shawn, Belle and Mimi.”
“Its ok sweetheart; I was not going to let anything happen to you.”
Roman is holding his daughter in his arms and kisses her on the head. Cassie starts to calm down as she feels safe now that her dad is here and protecting her.
“Honey, do to you need to go to the hospital?”
“No I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes I’m sure; I’m fine.”
Officer Tek arrives.
“Captain Brady what is the problem?”
“Tek I need you take the scum into the station.”
“Yes sir.”
“Thanks Tek; I will be down there in a few minutes.
“Ok Captain Brady.”
Tek takes Jason and puts in the back of the police car and heads back to the station.
“Cassie we need to go to the station and when we get there you need to tell me everything that happened.”
“Ok”
“I need to call you mother first and let her know your ok.”
“Ok”
Roman searches for his cell phone but can’t find it.”
“Damn it”
“What’s wrong daddy?”
“I can’t find my cell phone; I will have to call your mother at the station.”
“Ok”
“Ok honey lets go to the station.
Roman and Cassie leave to go to the SPD.
Kate is setting at the kitchen table waiting frantically
Rex comes down stairs.
“Mom has Cassie came home yet?”
“No baby; your father has went out looking for her.”
“I’m very worried mom.”
“I’m very worried too honey; your father and I just got you and your sister back.”
“Mom I’m so sorry for everything you and dad had to go through.”
“Baby its not you’re fought, its Stefano DiMera who took you and Cassie from your father and me.”
“I know I just wish this never happened; because of Stefano DiMera Cassie and I where robbed of our family for fourteen years and you and dad had to live fourteen years with out us not knowing if we where alive or dead.”
“Those fourteen years without you and Cassie where the hardest fourteen years of our lives; but not for one for second did we ever believe you and Cassie where dead; we never gave up hope and we always knew you both where alive; we kept looking for you and never gave up.”
“I’m just so thankful that we moved to Salem and found out the truth and now we are all back together.”
“Me too sweetie”
Roman and Cassie are now at the SPD in Roman’s office.
Roman calls Kate.
Its 11:00
Kate and Rex are talking when the phone rings.
Kate jumps up and answers the phone.
“Oh God Roman please tell me you found Cassie; is she ok?
“Katie don’t worry Cassie is here with me at the station; she is ok.”
“Thank God Cassie is ok.” Kate says with a breath of relief. Rex also breaths a sigh of relief when he here’s Cassie is ok.
“Roman why are you and Cassie at the station?”
“Kate I will tell you everything when we get home.”
“Roman I’m coming down to the station.”
“Kate there is no need for you to come down to the station; you stay home with Rex.”
“Rex is awake and right here with me; we are coming down to the station.”
“Kate you and Rex stay home; it’s going to be a while.”
“Mom, I want to go down to the station too.”
“Roman, Rex and I are coming down to the station.”
“Ok I know better then to argue with you; be careful.”
“We will.”
“I love you” Roman tells Kate.
“I love you too.”
Roman and Kate hang up the phone.
“Mom why are Cassie and dad at the station?”
“I don’t know but we are going down to the station.”
Kate and Rex leave.
Back at the station in Roman’s office
Roman sets down at this desk and Cassie is setting in the chair in front of his desk.
“Now sweetheart you need to tell me everything that happened.”
“Ok, well Jason drove to Salem Park and I said that I had to be home by 10:00 and he said he would take me home soon and then he moved closer and started to kiss me and I told him to stop and that we had just meet but he kept saying so and wouldn’t stop and he just kept pressuring me and I kept saying stop and then he started to pushing up against me and kissing me and then putting his hand up my shirt and I kept crying for him to stop and then I started having trouble breathing and that’s when you got there; daddy if you hadn’t got there when you did…
“Cassie I thank God I got there when I did.”
“Me too”
Kate and Rex run into Roman’s office.
Kate runs over to Cassie and hugs her.
“Cassie baby are you ok?”
“I’m fine mom because of dad.”
“What happened?” Kate asks.
“Jason Masters is what happened.” Roman says.
“Jason Masters, the kid you said was trouble?”
“Yes; he is the reason why we are at the station.” Roman replies
Kate looks at Cassie and asks “What did Jason do?”
Cassie pauses for a few seconds and says “Jason almost raped me tonight.” Cassie says as she starts to cry.
Kate hugs Cassie as she also starts to cry.
“Oh Cassie baby I’m sorry.”
“If I hadn’t got there when I did…. Roman pauses as he is trying to hold it together; knowing what would’ve happened to his daughter if hadn’t got there when he did.
“Roman thank God you got to Cassie when you did.” Kate says as she is still holding onto her daughter.
“Dad, can I talk to you in private?”
“Sure son.”
Rex and Roman go into another room where they can talk in private.
“Dad where is that son of a bitch Jason at?” Rex says in anger.
“Rex he is behind bars.”
“Take me to him.”
“Rex that piece of scum is behind bars and I don’t want you getting involved with this.”
“That scum almost raped Cassie.”
Roman puts his hands on Rex’s shoulders and says “I know and he will pay for what he did to her.”
“Ok dad.”
Roman and Rex go back into his office.
Rex goes over to his sister and hugs her.
“Are you sure you ok Cass?”
“I’m fine Rex.”
“Kate I want you and the kids to go home and I will be home in a short while.”
“Ok”
Roman kisses Kate and says “You all be careful.”
“We will.”
Kate, Rex and Cassie leave.
A few minutes later
Officer Tek comes in with Jason.
“Captain Brady; where do you want me to put him at?”
“Just sit him down in the chair right here; thanks Tek.”
“No problem Captain Brady.”
Tek leaves.
“So how long is this going to take?” Jason says.
“You just shut your mouth.”
“My dad is going to be here very soon.”
Roman gets in Jason’s face.
“Do you think your rich daddy is going to help you after you almost raped my daughter tonight?”
“I like Cassie a lot and you will not keep me from her.”
Roman grabs Jason and throws him up against the wall.
“You stay the hell away from Cassie; if you even think of going anywhere near my daughter I will kill you.”
“Is that a threat Captain Brady?” Jason says with a smirk.
“Oh yeah, you better believe it; you stay away from Cassie or else.”
Roman calls Tek in
“Tek will you take this piece of scum back to his cell; he makes me sick just looking at him.”
“Sure thing Captain Brady.”
Tek takes Jason back to his cell.
Roman finishes up in his office and leaves to go home.

So glad Roman arrived in time. I'm glad to see Tek in the story. I hope Roman doesn't get into trouble for threatening Jason.
