I'm glad that Chloe realizes that there will be some hardships and pulls between family and business. However, I'm afraid that resentment is going to rear it's ugly head. She's going to resent Philip being in Salem and not in Chicago. She's going to resent the lost "honeymoon", she going to resent Philip not being there for stuff with the baby like he mentioned, and who knows what else.
Hopefully she this meeting with Mary will help and she will continue to talk to Mary until things settle down....regardless of how they turn out.

I dont know why but im starting to dread mary, am i supposed to feel that? Chloe needs to cut the cord
I feel for chloe, titan world is a huge responsibility and philip would want to give it his all. I hope to see chloe stand by him and not crack as she tends to do, maybe this is the test she needs.
Btw while they were talking about the baby, not gna lie i was excited to be on that journey with them 🤣 .

Love that Chloe knows what Phillip is going through and how tough this is going to be. Even if Victor survives (fingers crossed) he might not be able to return to Titan and Phillip will have to stay in Salem.
Looking forward to Mary and Chloe’s talk.

Chapter 11
After hanging up his clothes in his bedroom closet at the Kiriakis mansion, Philip returned downstairs and poured himself a brandy. He sat down in Victor’s favorite chair in the living room, needing to feel supported by his father. He lifted the glass to his lips and held the liquor in his mouth for a few moments before letting the brandy float down his throat.
He set the brandy on a coaster on the coffee table and reached into his pocket for his iPhone. He used his thumb to open the calendar app and began to count 30 days into the future, starting yesterday.
“Oh my lord,” Maggie exclaimed, as she entered the living room. Holding a hand to her chest, she did a double take when she saw Philip sitting in Victor’s easy chair. “For a minute I thought it was Victor sitting in that chair.”
Philip quickly closed the app as if he was a child who’d been caught doing something bad. “Sorry, that was thoughtless of me.” He stood up and was about to move over to the sofa.
“No, stay,” Maggie waved a hand at him. “You can sit anywhere you like.”
Philip sat back down in Victor’s chair. “Say, where’s Brady? I haven’t seen him yet.”
“California.” Maggie walked over to the bar and picked up a glass. She filled it with ice and water. Without turning around, she replied, “He flew back with Theresa after your wedding so he could spend some quality time with Tate. It’s Tate’s birthday this week.”
“Does he know about Dad?”
“Oh yes, he knows.”
Now he knew why Brady hadn’t visited Victor. “I guess I can understand not wanting to disappoint your kid. How old is Tate now?”
“Three.” She turned around and took a seat on the sofa.
“Time flies, huh? I still can’t believe Parker will turn six in November. So, when will Brady be coming home?”
“I think he’ll be home tomorrow.” She looked toward the ceiling. “Maybe the day after.” With a shrug, she said, “I can’t remember what he told me. Why?”
“I have some business things I wanted to talk to him about. Um.” He reached for his brandy on the coffee table and took another swallow. “Did … did you know Dad’s living will gives me control of Titan if anything happens to him?” Maggie looked at Philip. She cocked her head but didn’t say anything. “I guess that means you didn’t know.”
She shook her head vigorously. “Victor rarely tells me anything having to do with business. So no, I didn’t know.”
He stared into the glass and swirled the brandy. “I didn’t know until today either.”
“Let me see if I understand this. Are you saying you’re the CEO for the whole company now?” Philip nodded. “I’m not sure how I feel about that,” Maggie admitted.
I’m not sure how I feel about it either, Philip thought to himself. “Would you have preferred him to put Brady in charge?” He immediately regretted saying it and set down his glass before the drink caused him to say anything else stupid.
“No, it’s not that,” Maggie quickly replied. “You’re his son, his heir. It stands to reason that you would be next in line, but—” She put her hand to her chest as tears welled up. “Next in line means that this line is over.”
Philip rose from his seat and sat down next to Maggie on the sofa. He placed his hand on top of hers. “If … No, when Dad gets well, I’ll be glad to give the title back to him.”

I thought that was how Maggie would feel. Beautiful scene.
Interesting that Philip cut his trip with Parker short when he heard about Victor and Brady was unwilling to cut his time with Tate short.

It makes sense as to why Maggie would feel that way. Glad Philip is willing to give the company back to Victor if and when he gets better.

I’m glad that that’s all it was with Maggie It’s a reasonable way to feel Her and Philip always had a good relationship so I’m glad they can be there for each other I hope Brady doesn’t cause a stink when he gets home about this

Such an emotional scene. Poor Maggie. She had me in tears over "that means this line is over" comment.

I had a feeling that would be Maggie’s reaction to why she didn’t want Phillip in charge at Titan.
As far as Phillip’s reaction to Brady spending time with Tate (and him cutting short his own time with Parker) I believe that Brady doesn’t get to see Tate that often and Philip can see Parker all the time.

Philip and Maggie's conversation was emotional. I hope Brady is supportive of Philip leading Titan.
It must be so hard for Philip and Chloe being apart. Hopefully their family will reunite soon.

Chapter 12
After talking to Maggie, Philip went upstairs to his room, showered and slipped on a pair of pajama bottoms. He wanted to get comfortable before calling Chloe and Parker. But before he could make the call, his phone’s FaceTime app rang. He picked up the phone and accepted the call as he climbed into bed. The face on the display made him both deliriously happy and heartbroken at the same time.
“Parker!”
Parker grinned his toothy grin when he saw his father’s face. “Hiya Daddy. Mommy let me use her computer to see you.”
“I can’t even tell you how happy I am to see you.”
“Mommy said to ask how your daddy is.”
Philip willed himself not to get emotional. “Not so good but the doctors are working hard to make him better.” He was as honest as possible without going too deep. “I’ll tell him you asked about him. I know that’ll make him happy. Hey I miss you kiddo.”
“But you just saw me this morning.”
“True. But I miss you anytime I’m not with you.”
“Me too. When you coming home?”
“Not sure yet. See, on top of looking after my dad, I just got a kind of promotion at work and I have to figure out how to do my new job.”
“A promotion? I thought you were already the boss of everyone.”
As Philip laughed, he could hear Chloe in the background chuckling as well. “Well, there was actually one step higher.”
“Good luck on your new job. I gotta wash my face and get in bed. I’m gonna put mommy on.” Parker disappeared from the screen.
“Parker, wait. Parker? Where’d you go?”
Parker came back to the computer. “What?”
“I just wanted to tell you I love you. Be good, okay?”
“You be good too. Love you too daddy. Here, Mommy, it’s your turn to talk to Daddy.” Parker stepped out of view.
Chloe slid into the seat in front of the computer. “Hey there, handsome.”
“Man, you’re a sight for sore eyes.”
“Your eyes do look tired,” she observed.
He pinched the bridge of his nose. “I think today was the longest day of my life. I can’t believe it was just this morning when I kissed you goodbye on the plane. It feels like it’s been weeks.”
“Why don’t you get some sleep and we’ll talk tomorrow,” she suggested.
“Not yet. I’m not ready to let you out of my sight yet.”
Chloe smiled. “I’m here as long as you want me.”
“Hey, remember earlier you asked if there’s anything you can do? Could you send me a few of my suits? Shirts, ties, socks and shoes too. I don’t have time to buy new clothes.”
“Of course. I’ll pack them up tomorrow. How many? Three, four, five?”
“Five would be great. If I’m CEO, I don’t want to show up three days in a row wearing Florida vacation attire. I mean, maybe headquarters will go casual someday, but we’re not there yet.”
“Consider it done. What time is your appointment with Victor’s doctors tomorrow?”
He looked off to the left. “Lunchtime. I think.”
“Call me after, okay? I want to know what they say.”
“I will. So how are you doing,” he asked. “Really.”
“I feel okay but, I made an appointment to talk to Mary on Friday.”
“That bad, huh?” he joked.
“Hey, I don’t look at my sessions with Mary like it’s a chore, the way you do. I just feel like I need to talk through some things.”
“You can talk to me too, you know,” he offered.
“I know. I just want to sort through my feelings about everything.”
“I think that’s a good idea.” He leaned his elbow on his thigh. “I miss you, Mrs. Kiriakis.”
She sighed deeply. “I miss you too, Philip. And I worry about you. Please make sure you take care of yourself while you’re taking care of the rest of the world.”
“I’d much rather be home, just taking care of you and Parker.”
“We’re fine.” When he looked skeptical, she added, “It’s no secret that this is a tough time for all of us, but we’ll get through it, so don’t worry about us, okay?”
“But I do,” he said, “just like you worry about me.”
Her shoulders relaxed. “I love you, Philip. Try and get some sleep.”
Smiling, he said, “If you insist. Talk tomorrow.”
“Goodnight, honey.”
“Goodnight, sweetheart.”
The screen went dark and a pop-up appeared asking him to rate the quality of the call.

So glad that Phillip got to see Parker. I know he misses them both but he is where he needs to be right now. Glad Chloe doesn’t think that talking with Mary is a chore. She needs someone she can talk to about everything that won’t judge her. Can’t believe you are making us wait till Friday though!!!
