Hey friends. Thanks again for reading and commenting throughout the week. Here’s a sneak peek at the coming week.
-Melanie kinda ruins Nathan and Stephanie’s date.
-Philip is with Gabi in California. Will that be awkward? Or will they have a lot of explaining to do when they get home?
-Stephanie pours her heart out to her dad, but not before drowning her sorrows — and you know what happens when Stephanie gets drunk.

This is one time I hope Melanie makes a scene. Nathan is a jerk
I don’t think Philip and Gabi are a thing.
Though I can see drunk Stephanie confronting Philip and throwing herself at him.

Chapter 517c
Abigail’s eyes fell on a table toward the front of the restaurant. “Oh gosh. Don’t look now but lover boy is having dinner with another woman.”
Melanie turned her head to see what Abby was talking about. “Well, I kind of knew he and Stephanie started up again.” She turned back toward Abby. “But seeing them together is another thing entirely.”
Melanie pushed her chair away from the table, prompting Abby to ask, “Mel, what are you going to do? Mel!”
Melanie didn’t answer. She merely got up from her chair and walked over to Nathan and Stephanie’s table. “Hi lover,” she said brightly a moment before leaning over Nathan and kissing his lips a little longer than was socially acceptable in public.
“Uh Mel.” Nathan leaned away. “What are you doing?”
“Just saying hi is all.” She faked a double-take. “Oh hey Steph. Didn’t see you sitting there.”
“I’ll bet.”
“I’m so glad Nathan found someone to hang out with since I was unavailable tonight. I’m having dinner with a friend, otherwise, Nathan and me would have been on a date. And I use the word date euphemistically.”
Stephanie cocked her head to look at Nathan. “What’s she talking about?”
“Um.”
“I’d better get back to my friend,” Melanie trilled. “I’d hate to be rude.” She picked an olive off the plate in the center of the table and pushed it through her lips before flouncing off.
Stephanie stared at Nathan. “Are you seeing Melanie too?”
“Well …we both live in the mansion. You know?”
Stephanie squinted at him. “I’m not sure if you remember this, but back on New Year’s I told you that I wouldn’t compete for your affections with Melanie again. Remember?”
Nathan rocked his head from side to side. “Yeah, I guess I do.”
“Good. Then you won’t be surprised if I do this.” Stephanie picked up her wine glass and tossed the drink in his face. She sat there and watched the wine drip from his hair. He picked up a cloth napkin to dab his eyes. “Good bye Nathan.” She got up from her chair and huffed out of the restaurant.
Stephanie wandered around the Square trying hard not to cry. Today was one for the books, from getting fired, to a nasty interaction with Xander and finding out Nathan was two-timing her.
Her phone buzzed. “There’s absolutely no one I want to talk to right now, except—” Her mind flashed to Philip standing in the line for coffee. For some reason, she wished he was here so she could cry on his shoulder. She looked at her phone and saw Alex’s name on the display. She nearly hit “decline,” but she accepted the call anyway. “What do you want?”
“Steph! You picked up. I’ve been trying to reach you all day,” Alex told her.
“I’m not in the mood to talk to anyone,” she barked into the phone. “Especially you.”
“Wanted to check and see how you’re doing.”
“How do you think I’m doing,” she spat. “I’ve had just about the worst day of my life.”
“I know.”
“No, you don’t. You don’t know the half of it.”
“Anything I can do?”
Stephanie opened her mouth, about to tell him to screw himself, when her eyes fell on the entrance to the Salem Inn. “As a matter of fact, there is. You can meet me at the Salem Inn lounge and buy me a cocktail.”

I can’t imagine this is gonna go anywhere good, especially with Alex involved.

Well Nathan got what he deserved Hopefully Nathan will ditch Melanie and she will get what she deserves I don’t know if I feel bad for anyone in this scenario I’m glad it’s Alex for what happens next and not Philip

Whoa. Stephanie acted like a total spoiled brat with Xander. And she thinks that because she was once engaged to Philip that gives her permission to act like that? I'm glad Xander stood up to her. I hope she doesn't get any job with K3 after that.
Get him Maggie!!! So glad the called Nathan out on what he's doing.
Melanie was a lot more calm about this than I expected. I don't feel bad for Nathan at all. I don't think a relationship between any of them is a good idea.
This is not going to go well with Stephanie and Alex.

For once I am proud of Melanie. At least SHE knew what Nathan was up to.
