Maybe Stephanie will work for k3 somewhere down the line seeing as she doesn’t know how long she has a job with Titan

I hope there aren't any ideas about a Stephanie/Philip pairing there. I couldn't stand them together the first time.

Chapter 515b
Philip, Justin and Xander had gathered in one of the closed door offices they designated as a conference room for the time being.
“I’m planning to take a trip out West to meet with Jensen Huang at Nvidia’s offices as soon as possible,” Philip told the others.
Xander pointed to his tablet. “Media Mogul Magazine has a listing of trade shows around the country. Perhaps we should coordinate your trip to Nvidia with one of these conferences.”
“Great idea,” Philip agreed. “Do me a favor and forward that list to me and Justin.”
Xander tapped on a few keys and exclaimed, “Done!”
Philip perused the list on his own tablet. “This trade show in Palo Alto the third week of February has possibilities.”
“Do you think Gabi can get a booth scheduled for us that quick?” Justin asked.
“One way to find out.” Philip picked up his phone and texted her. “This’ll be a good first test for her.” He set his phone down again.
“We should all go,” Justin remarked. “There’s strength in numbers,” Justin remarked.
“I have more of a divide-and-conquer mentality,” Philip decided. “There’s a lot of trade shows coming up. I think we’d do better by spreading ourselves out.”
“Good plan,” Xander blurted. “I’ll be on my honeymoon the third week of February, so count me out for that period. But I’ll be happy to map out the trade shows that look promising over the next several months.”

Alex poked his head into Stephanie’s cubicle at around 11:00. “Let’s have lunch.”
“Oh.” She looked at the the long to-do list in the Evernote app on her laptop. “I’ve got a million things to do today. Raincheck?”
“It’ll keep. Meet me at the pub at noon,” he ordered.

Sounds like Alex isn’t going to take no for an answer.
Glad Philip, Justin and Xander have a plan.

Ugh. Alex, go away. She isn't into you.
I'm glad the guys are all getting along... for now. I don't quite trust the peace between Philip and Xander, especially considering the secret Xander has hanging over his head.

Chapter 516a
At the pub, the waiter poured Alex another cup of coffee. “Can I get you anything else while you wait for your friend?”
“Employee,” Alex clarified. “She’s my employee, not my friend.”
The waiter nodded. “Well, if there’s anything else you need, my name’s Ben. Just ask for me.”
“Yeah, you told me that already.” Alex perked up when Stephanie came through the door. “Steph!”
“Sorry I’m late.” She took a seat across from Alex and the waiter poured her a glass of water.
“I’ll give you a minute to look at the menu,” Ben said.
Stephanie did a double-take. She leaned forward and whispered. “Did you see that guy?”
“Yeah. What about him?”
“He looks exactly like you.”
Alex turned his head to look at the waiter. “He does not.”
“Oh yes he does. It’s uncanny.”
“I’m much better looking,” Alex stated. “Look, Steph.”
Stephanie opened the menu. “The chowder pot pie is really fantastic here.”
“I don’t think you’ll want to eat anything,” Alex surmised.
“Why not? Didn’t you invite me to have lunch with you?”
“I did. But I’m guessing what I have to say is probably gonna ruin your appetite.”
She cocked her head. “What do you mean?”
“I gotta fire you.”
The menu slipped out of Stephanie’s hands and landed flat on the table. “Fire me? Why? I thought I was doing a great job. You said my job was safe.”
“It was safe when I said it, but things change fast in the corporate world.”
“Oh my god, did they find out what happened in Chicago," Stephanie asked in a panic. "You know, getting drunk and oversleeping and everything? You didn’t tell them, did you? Is that why they're firing me?”
“Steph. Would you let me get a word in?”
“Sorry.”
“It’s nothing like that. It’s just that the Shin Corporation has a whole staff of public relations people. They wanted someone local at first, but it was always just temporary. They don’t need you anymore.”
“So I’m unemployed?”
“As of this very minute, yes. No severance either since you’ve worked for Titan for less than a year. You can clean out your office this afternoon. And take your time. I don’t need to stand watch or anything, as long as you’re out of there by 5:00. But there's a silver lining. We can date now.”
Stephanie shook herself. “Seriously? You call that a silver lining?”
“Sure. Why not?
“Um. Because I’m not in the mood. I’ve just been fired.” She tossed a napkin on the table, rose from her seat and hurried out of the pub.

First I had to laugh at how the resemblance is uncanny Nice dig at the show for this And I’d say I’m surprised that Alex was arrogant enough to still try after firing her but I’m not Maybe Philip will have a job opening for her after all

I'm wondering if now that Steph is free and there's no conflict that she will be (eventually) recruited to K3.
Oh Alex...that's not a silver lining. Get over yourself.

Nice reference to Ben and Alex being played by the same character!
Sucks that Stephanie lost her job.

Chapter 516b
Stephanie carried a trans-file box filled with her personal belongings as she made her way from her desk to the elevator on the fifth floor. When she came to the end of the hallway, she looked toward the right and remembered Philip heading this way to his new office. So she set down the carton and walked down the hall.
She pulled open the door that had the letters “K3” is on the glass. “Hello?” she called out. She peeked into one empty office after another. Finally, she found a man at a desk in one of the offices. “Where’s Philip,” she asked the man.
Xander looked up from his laptop. “Who in bloody hell are you?”
“Stephanie Johnson. Who are you?”
“Xander Kiriakis.”
“Oh. I recognize your name. You were the head of Media.”
“That’s correct.”
“Okay, the formalities are out of the way. Now answer my question, Xander. Where’s Philip?”
Xander glanced at the time on his laptop. “He’s on his way to the airport right about now.”
“Airport?? Where’s he going?”
“California.”
“California? He didn’t mention anything about that when I saw him this morning.”
“The opportunity came up suddenly.” For a moment, Xander wondered if there was something going on between Philip and this pretty brunette. “You saw him this morning? Where?”
“Downstairs. On line for coffee. I need to speak with him right away. When will he be back?”
“You certainly ask a lot of questions, young lady. Tell me, what business is it of yours when Philip will be back?”
“I’m a close personal friend of Philip’s. We used to be engaged.”
“I see.” Xander rose from his chair. “First of all, you don’t walk into a person’s office and demand to know where Philip is. You introduce yourself first. You say excuse me sir. You have a little decorum. You act like a human being.”
“I’m not here for a lecture.” Stephanie rolled her eyes. “I need to speak to him.”
Xander sighed with exasperation. “I’ll tell him you were looking for him.” Xander turned and walked back to his desk.
“Wait!” Stephanie called out.
