I'm glad they had that conversation. I hope that Philip doesn't try to take too much on on his own and puts his own health at risk. That would not be good.

I loved the moment chloe sat on philip’s chair and got emotional, the overwhelming sense of his absence clicked in that moment .. argh perfect kpatch I kinda like how even now he won't sit in Victor's chair. I think deep down, it's not a fear or something like that, but a sign of respect. I think it's also a sign that he's refusing to believe that Victor won't sit in that chair again. Thank you all for reading and your comments. I love how you picked up on the fact that Philip and Chloe are doing a better job of communicating now. And you caught the subtleties, like with the chairs.
Personally, I love the part where Justin gives Philip the option of using Victor's office or a conference room. Philip walked into Victor's office, but he subconsciously opted to use the conference room instead, because the office still belongs to Victor.
We've got miles to go! Meanwhile, here's a taste of what you can expect this week.
PREVIEWS -Chloe breaks down as she remembers happier times. -Maggie's not thrilled when she learns Philip is the new CEO of Titan. -Philip and Parker catch up. -The family meets with Victor's doctors--Daniel included--and Philip isn't happy with their recommendations.

It sounds like an emotional week coming up.
The Chloe/Philip scene was so great. They have come such a long way and are communicating much better now.

Wonder why Maggie wouldn’t be happy that Philip is the new CEO of Titan. Can’t wait to meet Victor’s doctor! Sounds like a great week ahead!

Maybe Maggie being unhappy with Philip taking over Titan has less to do with Philip and more about what it says about Victor's condition. Just a guess.

Chapter 10
After ending the call with Philip, Chloe broke down. She was completely heartbroken for everything Philip was dealing with. She felt like she wanted to do something, to help him somehow, but he was still processing everything, figuring out what needed to be done. She could read the anxiety on his face, the pain, the stress. She wanted more than anything to put her arms around him, to give him the strength he needed to handle it all. She knew Philip was mentally tough—as a Marine, he had to be. But emotionally, well, that was another story.
She could see from his body language that he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. It was true that she didn’t love Victor, she didn’t even like him, but Philip did, and for that reason, she hoped and prayed Victor would recover.
If she was being truly honest with herself, it wasn’t just Philip she felt sorry for, it was both of them, as a couple. They just got married, not even a week ago. And even though they didn’t plan a traditional honeymoon, she thought they’d at least have a honeymoon period, a respite, a worry-free time-out to escape from the real world, for a little while at least. After everything they’d gone through over the past few years, they earned it. They earned the right to experience pure joy. But that pure joy got cut short.
Chloe was a realist. She had lived through too many horrific experiences to believe there was such a thing as a fairy tale, from once upon a time to happily ever after and everything in between. But over the years, she and Philip had grown to be as close to a fairy tale as she ever could have imagined.
Now, Philip had new and unending responsibilities. Right now, the business had to come first. She told him it wouldn’t be forever, but she knew better. Even as the head of Titan Media, they had to sacrifice a lot of family time. As head of Titan Worldwide, she knew the responsibilities would be exponentially greater. And she would be there for him every step of the way. She would work hard to make sure that he felt loved and supported and grounded and always remain the caring, sensitive, romantic, wonderful man he is today, and not turn into his father.
“Being a newlywed isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be,” she mumbled to herself.
All at once, she remembered a conversation they had the day after the wedding, while they were in the bedroom packing for their trip.
Chloe was stuffing a pair of shoes into the inside pocket of her suitcase. Philip came up behind her and put his arms around her. He pressed his lips to the back of her neck. “Hey, you want me to finish packing or do you want to distract me?” she asked.
“How about both?”
She giggled as his breath tickled her neck. “Nice thought, but not possible.”
“Hey, I’m a newlywed. You can’t blame me for trying.” He kissed her ear. “You know what I’m excited about?”
“I have a good guess.”
“Well, that too, but, I’m excited about anticipating this baby,” he told her as he ran his hand over her mid-section.
She turned around and faced him. “What do you mean?”
“Well, with Parker, we were both so worried about our one night stand being exposed and fretting over the baby’s paternity.”
“Because we were married to other people.”
“We never got a chance to enjoy the anticipation of having a baby together. This time, we will.” He stepped closer and laced his fingers behind the small of her back. “This time, we’ll get to wonder if it’s a boy or a girl, think up names, look at sonogram pictures, feel the baby’s first kick.”
Resting her hands on his shoulders, she said, “Oh Philip, I love how excited you are.”
“How about you? Are you excited?”
“The truth? I’m kind of over the moon about this baby. I can’t wait to share every moment of this journey with you.”
He rubbed his nose against hers and softly kissed her lips. “Pack later?”
“Mmm hmmm,” she said without breaking the kiss.
Before she had a chance to change her mind, he deepened the kiss while pushing her suitcase off the bed, and her onto it.
Chloe’s phone buzzed, snapping her out of her memory. It was Mary texting back to say she has an opening tomorrow at 2.

I liked Chloe reminiscing. Hopefully she can find a way to be there for Philip, and hopefully he lets her.

I'm glad that Chloe is aware of the difficulties both for Philip and their relationship, and that she's determined to support him.
I loved their sweet flashback.

Looking forward to hearing we session with Mary
It’s true though the anticipation thing I hope he still finds the joy in it How ironic that a life he cares so much about is on the line and another is yet to be born
None the less I hope victor survives this and meets the new addition to the kiriakis clan
