I'm glad that Xander is loyal to Philip like he is and realizes exactly what Philip did for him. I just hate that he's part of the reason that Philip is out of Titan.

Here’s a little irony. I wrote the scenes with Chloe and Xander living together long before Chloe moved into Xander’s apartment on air.

I'm not surprised by Philip's reaction to finding out Chloe is at the condo.

I think it will be hard for Parker to understand why Chloe isn't even calling him.

Chapter 455a

Early in the morning, Philip stood in the kitchenette of the RV while Parker was in the bathroom washing his face and brushing his teeth.

Philip and Parker had spent three days at Disney during which they covered the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Universal Studios. Philip took hundreds of pictures of his son’s reaction to all the Parks rides and exhibits, and Parker’s reactions did not disappoint. He was so glad he finally got to take Parker to Disney for the full experience—the experience they missed when they had to cut their trip short last June when Philip’s father fell ill.

Now they were making their trek back toward Illinois, stopping along the way at landmarks and points of interest along the East Coast. They planned to visit Savannah and Charleston, the Smoky Mountains and Washington, DC, and the Freedom Trail in Boston.

He held his phone flat in his palm and stared at it. Finally, he pressed a few keys and held his phone to his ear.

“Philip.” Mary Richards’ voice came through the phone. “What can I do for you?”

“I hope I’m not calling too early.”

“Not at all. I’m already in my office.”

“Well, I know you have patients to see, so I won’t keep you, but I wanted to tell you that Chloe’s in Chicago.”

There was momentary silence on Mary’s end of the line. “From the way you phrased that, I take it you’re not with her.”

Glad Philip and Parker enjoyed Disney. Looks like they’re taking a roundabout way of getting home, but since they don’t have any reason to be back immediately, that makes sense, and it’s nice that they’re having fun!

Wonder what Mary will say.
