I liked Xander's conversations with both Philip and Chloe. At least Philip knows Chloe is in a safe place.

Chapter 453b
“So, get your ass down here and talk some sense into her,” Xander insisted.
On a sigh, Philip replied, “She walked out on us, Xander, so what she does is no longer my business.”
“She’s your wife,” Xander reminded him.
“Just a technicality. Look, I really don’t care.”
“Sorry Mate, but I still don’t believe that. I know you well enough to know that will never be true so who are you trying to fool?”
Exasperated, Philip rubbed his forehead. “Listen, we talked. And talked and talked. And she left anyway. She’s got to get her head on straight and figure out what she wants. If that happens to be me, then fine. But Xander, I don’t have the emotional energy to keep begging her to come back to me. I’m spent. I went through the same things she did.”
“Worse if you ask me,” Xander opined. “She was in a coma and you were wide awake through it all.”
“In Chloe’s defense, I didn’t have to relearn how to walk, and I didn’t blame myself for the accident, but yeah, the past year’s been hell. Look, I appreciate your efforts, but she’s steering the ship right now.”
“And it’s headed for an iceberg.”
“Then keep her on the right course,” he shot back. “Sorry, I didn’t mean that to sound like it’s an order. I’m not your boss anymore, but sometimes the Victor in me comes out. Only do it if you have the time and energy. Try to make sure she doesn’t jump overboard and drown.”
“I’ll do what I can.”
“Thanks, Mate,” Philip said. “Now that I know she’s in Chicago, I’ll contact her therapist tomorrow and ask her to reach out.”
“Excellent!”
“How’s things at Media?” Philip asked, purposely changing the subject.
“You’re asking a business question?”
“Sure. Why not?”
“I didn’t think you’d be interested any longer. But since you asked, everyone’s walking on eggshells, waiting for the next shoe to drop—or the axe, as it were. I’ll keep you posted.”
“I’m on an extended vacation with Parker, so if I don’t get right back to you, that’s why.”
“Understood.”
“So, thanks for the call.”
“Sure. I’ll talk to you soon.” Xander looked at the display and Philip had hung up.

I can’t say I blame Philip at all for his reaction or decision
Mental illness effects more than just the person
Maybe Mary can help but maybe she will refer her to something more
She refuses meds, or anything
I personally wouldn’t want to try either
She won’t budge an inch let alone meet half way

Catching up
Loved the conversation with Jennifer. She was on point with everything she said to Kayla.
I'm glad Chloe opened up to Xander and that Xander at least called Philip. But Philip's right. Chloe made these decisions and she's going to have to rectify it. If Philip tries to force her hand at this point, this is only going to end in resentment for both of them.
Philip is asking about the company is a good sign I hope. Hopefully fighting for Titan and reconnecting with Parker will give him some purpose and help him get things back like they should be.

Philip made the right decision. Chloe needs time to work through everything. He will be there when she is ready to come home and be a wife to Philip and a mom to Parker.

Chapter 454a
As soon as Xander got to work the next morning, he closed his office door, set his laptop case on the desk and dialed Sarah’s number. “I have a feeling this is going to be a lot tougher than the conversation I had with Philip last night,” he mumbled.
Sarah’s voice came through the the phone. “Hi handsome.”
“Sarah my love. Are you home? Can you talk?”
“I’m at work but I can take a few minutes.” She opened the door to terrace where she could have some privacy. “Why? What’s up?” She leaned one arm on the railing and propped her elbow on the rail while holding the phone to her ear.
“I wanted to tell you before you heard it somewhere else. Chloe is here.”
“Here where?” Sarah asked, only half listening while she pulled a piece of lint out of the pocket of her lab coat.
“In Chicago. At the condo.”
Xander had her full attention now. Sarah stood up straighter and asked, “The condo? The condo where you’re living? That can’t be,” Sarah insisted. “Mom said Philip told Justin he was taking the family on a road trip after he got booted from Titan.”
“Apparently she came here on her own.”
“So she’s there.” Sarah was working to comprehend the situation. “Without Philip. But with you.”
“She’s not with me,” he corrected.
“You just told me she’s at the condo.”
“She is. It’s her condo, after all.”
“You have to go live somewhere else,” Sarah blurted without thinking.
Xander cocked his head from side to side. “I suppose I haven’t been trying very hard to find a place of my own. Condo is too convenient to the office. Just a short walk. And it’s a nice, comfortable spot and I’m living here for free, thanks to Philip’s generous offer to have me stay here as long as I like.”
“Well your free ride is over. Time to move out if Chloe’s going to be living there,” Sarah ordered.

Given Chloe's history, I'm not surprised by Sarah's reaction. However, she's coming across rude, demanding, and insecure. She's acting like Xander and Chloe have been there together all along when it was only one night. Xander didn't expect Chloe to show up there. Hell no one did. No one knew that Chloe walked out of Philip and Parker. Sarah better reign herself in soon.

Chapter 454b
“Well your free ride is over. Time to move out if Chloe’s going to be living there,” Sarah ordered.
Xander laughed lightly. “I know you’re right, but for the record, you have no reason to feel jealous, love. Nothing is going to happen between me and Chloe. Nothing romantic or sexual now or ever.”
“You sure?”
His brow knit. “Positive.” He slid his laptop out of its case and spoke as he powered it up. “For two reasons. You probably already know this but I’m true blue to you, Sarah. I’m not interested in any other woman but you. I’m the luckiest man alive to have a woman like Sarah Horton who loves me as much as I love her. I’ve found the best and I’d be a fool to put what we have in jeopardy.”
Sarah smiled as she listened to Xander speak. “I like what I’m hearing. Keep going.”
“I’m also true blue to Philip,” he added. “Sure, Uncle Victor’s will stipulated I have a job at Titan, but it didn’t say what kind of job. Philip didn’t have to take me under his wing and teach me the business from the ground up. But he did. He didn’t have to appoint me the head of Media and entrust me with the division he built with his heart and soul. But he did.”
Sarah’s brow knit. “What has that got to do with Chloe?”
“Everything! Let’s say, God forbid, there was no Xander and Sarah. Even if Philip and Chloe are separated, I wouldn’t betray him by fooling around with his wife. Odds are they will get back together one day. History bears this out. But even if they never get back together, it’d feel wrong to get involved with the love of Philip’s life.”
“But there is a Xander and Sarah,” she said softly.
“And I thank God for that every day. Look, love, Chloe is a mess. She needs a friend. The least I can do is be a friend to her. She’s been through a lot. We can be friends to her together. Remember you and Chloe were getting on famously before the accident?”
“Feels like a lifetime ago,” she said quietly, thinking about her brother. “Don’t forget I once tried to seduce her husband and I wouldn’t put it past her to try and pay me back for that.”
“As I told you, she’s in sad shape, love. I honestly don’t see her making a play for me any time soon. And if she did, I’d fend her off.”
“That’s why you have to be vigilant,” Sarah blurted. “She may try and play on your sympathy.”
“I’m not going to fall prey to anyone’s charms except yours, so stop fretting, would you?” A chime sounded from Xander’s laptop. “I’m going to have to go. I’ve got a meeting in five. Are we good?”
“Yes. But you’d better call me every night when you get into bed. Alone,” she added in a more lighthearted tone.
“I always do,” he reminded her. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”

I'm glad Sarah finally stopped freaking out about Chloe and listened. Hopefully CHloe being in the condo won't actually cause trouble for Xander and Sarah.
