Hopefully the session goes well. Wonder what Philip figured out.

I hope that Chloe doesn't expect one session to be the cure all for Parker. It may take several sessions before he completely opens up about everything. And he may come out of this emotional and upset, but it's because he's reliving some pretty painful and scary stuff. The poor kid has been through a lot.
Chloe and Philip really need to talk about this club.

Why do I have the feeling Phillip's idea involves either Nicole or Victor?

I would be nice if Philip and Chloe discusses their thoughts on what their plans are for the club It’s a bit ridiculous They are meant to be engaged like even the dating stage my husband and I discussed every purchase little and big This is a major purchase and I’m floored that they haven’t even considered talking to he other about it Not a great start tbh

I am upset that Philip seems to think he needs to protect Chloe, like Chloe can't take care of herself. He needs to stop smothering her & talk to her.

Philip is totally calling Nicole.
I get that Philip has history with Brady that would make him question Brady’s motivation—I question his motivation, too. But digging into his assets like this seems a little extreme. Philip needs some counseling and he and Chloe could use some joint counseling, too. (Frankly, pretty much anyone who grew up in Salem needs therapy, but...)

I hope Parker's therapy session goes well.
I wonder what Philip's plan entails. Hopefully he and Chloe discuss purchasing the club soon.

Chapter 12c
Inside her office, Gwen had given Parker a dry-erase board with a variety of colored crayons. She demonstrated how to use it and showed him how to erase anything he wanted to change. Then she asked him to draw a picture of his family. There was a feature on the board that allowed her to take a screen shot of the picture so she could keep it for her file.
Parker spent about 10 minutes creating the picture. He used the stick-type figures that you’d expect from a six-year old, but displayed a little more creativity and talent than average. He mostly used the black crayon, except for some yellow to represent his own hair.
Once he was done, Gwen asked him to describe what he drew.
“This is me holding Mommy’s hand,” he said.
“Who’s this?” Gwen asked, pointing to the man standing next to his mother.
“That’s my Uncle Philip. I call him uncle but he’s more like a daddy.”
“That sounds very nice. And um can you explain what this is—this figure lying on the ground near you?”
“That’s my real Daddy. He died,” Parker said without emotion.
“Do you want to tell me about that?”
“Not really,” Parker said quickly, but added, “Did you know he was a doctor?” Gwen shook her head no. “Everyone said he was the best doctor ever, so I don’t know why he couldn’t fix hisself. Himself,” he corrected. Then he pointed to what looked like a kite on a string. The boy in the picture was reaching for the string with his free hand. “And this is my Daddy too. See, I’m not sure where he really is. Mommy says he’s up in heaven, but when we visit him at the cement area in Salem, he’s under the grass.”
“I know it can be a little confusing.” Gwen empathized. She purposely chose not to explain anything since she didn’t want to inadvertently contradict any of his religious teachings.
“I think my Mommy is going to die too. That’s why I have to hold her hand tight like this,” he touched the picture, “to keep her from flying away too.”
Gwen waited several seconds before asking, “Is your mommy sick?”
Parker shrugged and looked toward the door. “Are we finished? I want to see my mom.”
“Oh. Well, I had a few more activities I wanted us to try,” she said, but it was clear the child had had enough for now. “But it’s fine. We can do them next time.”
Parker jumped out of his seat, rushed toward the door, and turned the handle.

I wonder why Parker would think his mom die possibly soon. What would give him that idea?

Parker has had so much upheaval in his life. No wonder he's afraid of losing Chloe too.

That poor baby. With everything he has been through, it's no wonder he's afraid that something will happen to Chloe.
I can't decide if Parker just doesn't want to talk about all the bad stuff or if he's not sure how to feel about Daniel being gone.
Oh I hope they can get him sorted out and make him feel better. I just want to grab him up and hug him.

Poor Parker. He's been through so much in his life already. It's no wonder he fears that he will lose his mom.
