The perfect storm...well Philip did propose to Chloe and if they are officially engaged I wonder how their families will react to the engagement?
I mean Victor hates Chloe and not to mention Chloe used to be married to his grandson Philip's nephew Brady and Chloe used to be married to Victor's godson and step son Daniel. Kate hates Chloe for obvious reasons one for how Chloe cheated on her other son Lucas and for having an affair with Daniel when Kate was with him.
Maggie I think she'll be okay with it given that Parker is her grandson and Chloe is the mother of her grandson but also Philip is Maggie's step son, her husband Victor's son.
Lucas I wonder how he will feel about this given that Chloe is his ex wife and Philip is his brother
Brady, Philip's nephew I think he'll be okay with it
Either way I can't wait

I hope to see chloe eventually pregnant with philip's baby, and to see them building a life together with it's shares of up's and downs.

Chapter 1
Philip propped his ear on his palm and watched Chloe sleeping next to him in his bed. She was cradling Parker in her arms as he breathed softly against her body. Just a short while before, it was Philip who she was holding close.
Philip pressed his lips to Chloe’s as she pulled at his t-shirt. “You sure you feel up to this,” she whispered against his lips. He intensified the kiss in response, breaking away just long enough to pull his tee over his head. He returned to Chloe’s lips and rolled on top of her.
“What was that?” she whispered.
“What do you think it was,” he laughed seductively.
“Mommy.”
Philip quickly rolled away and Chloe sat up. She smoothed her nightgown back into place. “What is it, angel? Can’t you sleep?”
Parker rubbed his eyes and shook his head from side to side. “Can I sleep in here with you?”
Chloe held her arms out. When Parker got close enough, she pulled him onto the bed and rocked her son. Turning her head, she looked at Philip and mouthed, “Sorry.”
Philip smiled and stroked Parker’s hair. “It’s fine,” he said quietly.
Chloe fell back on her pillow with Parker in her arms.
On a scale from one to ten, today’s stress level was off the charts for all of them. Psychologists and pediatricians would disapprove of a child sleeping with his mother, but Parker had been through hell today. He hid from Deimos while trying to phone the police. He had a gun held to his head, and watched helplessly as Deimos and Xander ran off with Holly. He saw his mother and me desperately trying to escape the boat before it exploded. When they finally did escape, the boy was knocked off his feet when the boat blew up. He experienced the worry and fear that his kidnapped baby sister might never be found, and when she was finally returned, he learned she was being taken away forever.
No five-year-old should have to experience what Parker did and the only way he was able to express his anxiety was to curl up beside his mother.
Philip sighed as he watched the two of them sleeping. Parker was exactly where he needed to be right now, and Chloe needed Parker just as much as he needed her, especially after saying goodbye to Holly. As for Philip, he needed both of them right where they were.

Great beginning. I hope Philip doesnt grow to resent Parker needing his mom so much.

I think Parker needs a bit more then a cuddle with mom after what he’s been through but it’s a good place to start

Poor Parker. He's been through so much in his young life.
I hope they can all heal heal as a family.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I feel so bad for Parker. That poor baby has been through so much. Hopefully he isn't too scarred from all of this.

I could see philip's desire to be with chloe intimately, build up after a while, if this continues with parker needing constant attention.

It’s a wonder that Parker (or any Salem kid, for that matter) ever has the peace of mind to sleep at all!

Parker no doubt has been traumatized after the ordeal he, Philip and Chloe all went through so I can see why Parker being a little boy would need his mother Chloe's love and full attention. Philip should understand that Parker will always come first with Chloe because with any mother, her child always comes first.
