Can I repeat—RUN, CHLOE, RUN!
Brady is up to something underhanded and Chloe clearly does not have the Salem Brain with her to see through him. Argh.

Chapter 7c
“You’re bored though. I admit I could use a project too.” Brady’s brow knit as he watched Chloe eating the fruit. “Hmmm. I have an idea.”
“What idea?”
“Finish your breakfast and I’ll show you.”
“Show me? I’m intrigued.”
He smiled slyly. “Trust me, you’re gonna love it.”
~~~
After breakfast, Brady drove Chloe in his rental car to an area that was considered the business district in Marathon. It was just a few-block stretch of restaurants, t-shirt stores, Margueritaville, Ron Jon surf shop, and similar tourist traps.
Right now they were standing in a vacant storefront with black walls and floors. “Okay,” Chloe said hesitantly. “What are we doing here?”
“This place is available.”
“Yes, I saw the For Sale sign out front. So?”
“It’s an old bar restaurant,” Brady told her. “Needs a little TLC, a little night music, but I think it could work.”
“Work for what?”
“A night club. A night club with you as the main attraction.”
Chloe’s eyes widened. “What on earth are you talking about?”
He took a step closer and grasped Chloe's hands. “We both need something to do and I’ve been wanting to make an investment on my own, just me with no involvement from Titan or my grandfather, and this is perfect. It’s right up my alley and it’s right up yours.”
“Up mine?” Chloe moved away from Brady and looked around. “That’s nuts.”
“Why?”
She felt flushed as she put a hand to her forehead. “I … I don’t know.” She looked at Brady. “You’re serious?”
“Completely.”
“But … How did you even find this place?”
“I’ve driven past it a handful of times," he said. "Chloe it’s perfect. It’s the perfect solution to both our wants and needs.”
How is Brady going to open and run a nightclub unless he moves to the area? It's a sneaky attempt to spend a lot of time with Chloe.
Yeah, it’s pretty convenient that Brady just happened to find this empty storefront that he thinks could suit both of their needs. A bit too convenient, really.
So is he going to be making Chloe the manager of the place as well as the "attraction" or is he planning on him and Nicole moving here?
Nice try Brady. But there's more to running a business than just buying a storefront.
And I doubt business is what he has on his mind anyway.
doolfan4life, that could be a possibility for sure and if so, I am all in favor of Chloe getting back with Brady. Seems he knows her better than Philip. I have always been a Broe fan so I seem to have a different opinion than all of you.
I liked broe as well but only when it was Kyle, but the way brady is acting it puts Eric’s version of brady in my head that’s why I can’t get on board with it
This is the sketchiest....
Brady lives in Salem. He is involved with Chloe’s friend. He is under the thumb of his grandfather, who disapproves of everything Philip does and openly despises Chloe. There is literally nothing about this that makes this seems remotely kosher. Brady is up to no good and his grandfather may in fact be involved in trying to distract Chloe and split Philip and Chloe up. I smell a rat...a big one.
Chapter 7d
“How did you even find this place?” Chloe asked.
“I’ve driven past it a handful of times. Chloe it’s perfect. It’s the perfect solution to both our wants and needs.”
“Well, it’s not ‘perfect.’ This place needs a ton of work.”
“It needs a little remodeling, but that’s no obstacle. Oh—”
“What?”
“I know why you’re hesitating. It’s Philip. You’re worried he won’t be happy if we embark on a venture together.”
“That’s an understatement,” she muttered.
He grasped her hands. “I don’t think you should worry about him. This is your life too. He needs to grow up and accept that we’re always going to be close.”
“It’s not just Philip,” she said, taking a step back. “It’s Parker too. He needs me, all of me. This club would take a lot of time to run, and I won’t leave him with a sitter. I’m not ready to entrust him to a stranger after everything that’s happened.”
Brady thought for a few minutes. “You wouldn’t have to manage the place. Your only job would be to sing here. You’d be the draw, the reason people come.”
She rolled her eyes. “I hope the food’s good.”
“Don’t be modest, Chloe. My point is, you wouldn’t even have to be here the whole time, just a few hours a night. That way you’ll be there to pick up Parker from school, help with homework. Philip can stay with Parker at night.”
“It takes a long time for a new business to make a profit,” she said quietly, remembering hearing Philip say those words when Sonny and Will opened Club TBD.
“Let me worry about being profitable,” Brady said, interrupting her thoughts. Her lips parted but she said nothing. “Stop trying to come up with obstacles.” He reached out and held her elbows. “Take the plunge, Chloe. Take a chance with me. This might be the best opportunity you’ll ever have to get back to doing what you love to do — singing.”
The idea of singing again gave her goose bumps. It was a dream she thought was in her past, would never come true, and now here it was, surprisingly within reach. He locked eyes with hers and touched her chin. “This reminds me of all those years ago. Remember? When I encouraged you to sing? When I coached you? I knew how talented you were. The rest of the world needed to know too.”
Feeling uneasy, she took a step back and turned away from him. Changing the subject, she said, “Fixing up this place is going to be really expensive.”
“I’ve got bucks.”
“Yes, I know you do. I just don’t want you to spend it all on a venture that may or may not make money.”
“Okay. If it makes you feel better, we’ll do some of the remodel work ourselves. I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get my fingernails dirty. It’ll be fun.” Chloe looked away, unsure of what to say. Brady was right about one thing. Philip wouldn’t be happy about this solely because Brady was involved. But was that a good enough reason to turn down an opportunity like this? Under other circumstances, Philip would be the first one to encourage her to go for it. “It would be fun,” she murmured quietly.
“Yes!” Brady pulled Chloe close for a hug. “I’m so psyched.”
Instead of wondering what Philip would think, Chloe could talk it over with him before making a commitment. That's what adults in committrd relationships do.
I wish Chloe would have talked to Philip about this before taking such a big step, since they are supposedly adults in a committed relationship. But, of course, she took Brady’s bait.
I agree the mature answer for Brady should have been for him to wait until she discussed it with Phillip It’s not about permission but the history here is undeniable and quite frankly I think Brady is trying to move in on her There are plenty of places that she could sing at she old easily go on a job hunt why does it have to be with him given the history..... I dunno I think Brady is acting like a sneaky rat
