Yes! I love your story so glad Philip is there for Chloe and showing her that despite her mistakes she can be forgiven and a good mother for Parker and hopefully a good wifey for Philip! lol can't wait to read your next story!

Ok I loved this story. It was angsty and emotional…just what I like in a good tale.
I actually loved that Philip took Parker out of town on the show. I loved how he put his baby first and I love that he (finally) got tough with Chloe. I wanted Chloe to get strong and stand on her own. Now the prostitution angle was debatable in achieving that effect, and the new writers definitely derailed any hope of it strengthening her when they left Chloe beaten and comatose with Brady to the rescue. But I will give the new writers one point…that twist helped create this story.
For me Philip and Chloe are awesome as friends. I watched them spend the entire 2010 leaning on each other trying to keep their worlds from falling apart. I was holding my breath the whole time because I knew a huge chasm was going to appear and jeopardize their relationship.
KPatch, you took the time to heal that wound. Thank you. Because Phloe are stronger when they have each other.
I am not as hard on Philip as he is on himself about taking Parker away. He made the right choice...absolutely. I don’t think it is his job to look out for Chloe. And as I was reading I was yelling at the screen that Chloe needed to stop blaming him for things she had complete control over. But being the master writer that she is Kpatch had me firmly on Phloe’s side by the end. I definitely hope they can give Parker a great life together.
A few notes -
I need Philip and Kate to reconcile. Kate loves him so deeply and he needs her in his life…flaws and all.
The dog tags were perfect. I love how each had one. It was like a mizpah coin or something.

I create an account just to tell you I thought this story was wonderful, I loved it. I wish the writers would have written something like this for Philip and Chloe instead of writing them off.
Do you have another Phloe story written? I hope so, I would love to read it.

I just finished rereading this fabulous story. It is perfect. Kpatch, you really captured both Philip and Chloe so well. I truly wish we'd seen this play out onscreen. Looks like I'll be rereading Chasing the Moon soon.

It was brilliant and Yes Philip left with Parker to protect him from the situation that might've hit close to home with Claire and that whole custody mess and how Victor/Kate pushed he probably didn't want to experience that again so he took Parker away from a situation that could quickly explode hurting Chloe was never his tension but it had to be done for Parker. Chloe he could explain too when she connected him in Chicago but she never reached out sooner just when the damage was done IMO. @kpatch nice and Thank you  |

I just read this whole story in one sitting. It was great. Very well done. I liked they didn't turn back into lovers instantly. It made it more realistic and special somehow and hints of things to come in the future. I also like how they started to learn how to trust each other again. The dog tags were a sweet touch. Great job. I will be reading the rest of the series ASAP.
