I agree that it was a sweet chapter. I loved Chloe finding out how happy she has made Parker. I'm glad to hear them admit that Parker needs both of them. The comment about Philip never shutting up in high school was hilarious. Thanks for a great chapter Kpatch.

THE CONDO
After breakfast, Chloe put Parker down for a nap. She went to knock on the door to Philip’s study where he was working. She hesitated when she heard him talking on the phone. He was using the speaker, so she heard both sides of the conversation.
Philip: Hey, it’s me.
Kate: Philip. Sweetie, is everything alright? I was so worried when Parker missed his weekly call with me.
Philip: What the hell were you thinking?
Kate: What are you talking about?
Philip: I’m talking about what you did to Chloe. I can’t believe that you of all people would do that to her.
Kate: What did that tramp tell you?
Philip: I’m not about to say it over the phone because I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re recording our conversation. But I want you to hear me.
Kate: Philip, Chloe is toxic to everyone she meets and I’ll be damned if ...
Philip: Shut up and listen to me. You’ve done everything in your power to try to discredit Chloe and keep her away from Parker. Well your plan backfired. Chloe gained a son and you lost one.
Kate: No! You are not choosing her over me.
Philip: Chloe now has full access to Parker. And to me. The only thing you succeeded in doing is cutting yourself out of your grandson’s life. I’m going to say this one time, so listen carefully. You will never, ever see me or Parker again. And if you ever try to hurt Chloe again, you’re going to find out just how much I take after my father. Goodbye Kate.
Philip hung up the phone and took a deep breath. He covered his face with his hands. He heard a knock and looked up.
Chloe: Okay if I come in?
Philip: Sure.
Chloe: Are you okay?
Philip: I’m fine. Did you ... did you hear that?
Chloe: Yes. I know this has to be hard on you. I’m really sorry Philip.
Philip: Don’t be. I should have done that a long time ago. The woman is psychotic. I don’t want her anywhere near my ... our son. Or you.
Chloe: Neither do I.
Philip: Good. Something we agree on.
Chloe sat down on the leather sofa in the study. Philip walked over and sat beside her.
Philip: Are you okay?
Chloe shook her head no.
Chloe: I thought that having Parker back in my life would solve all my problems. But my problems are still there.
Philip: Do you want to ... talk about it?
Chloe: I can’t ... I can’t erase my history. I don’t think I’ll ever live it down, Philip.
Philip took her hand.
Philip: I wish I could turn back time. Damn. I wish you would have called me, come to me. I would have been there for you.
Chloe: I know that now. But at the time, I didn’t think you would be.
Philip looked away from Chloe and cast his eyes toward the floor.
Philip: I’m sorry, Chloe. I’m truly and deeply sorry. Do you think you can ever forgive me?

Yea!!!!! I hope Philip means it this time and cuts Kate out of his life. Chloe has a long way to go, but she is starting to get her life back. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch.

Philip has always had a sweetness about him.But I love that under the surface,when push comes to shove,Philip really is his father's son and will stop at nothing.Unlike the typical villain though,Philip only uses his ruthlessness to protect the people he loves and I love that about him.Kate needs to really watch her step from now on.Fabulous chapter jkjpatch  |

Love how Philip ended his conversation calling her "Kate"...I hope Chloe gets her counselling as it sounds like she truly needs it... Love how Philip along with Parker will be there for her.

I loved Philip going after Kate. I'm so glad that Chloe heard the conversation. I feel bad for Chloe. She feels like her problems will always be with her. Poor Philip, he's so tormented over what happened. Terrific chapter Kpatch!
