Chapter 251
DIMERA MANSION
Tony was sitting at his desk. Harold walked in.
HAROLD: Excuse me, sir?
TONY: Yes, Harold?
HAROLD: You have a visitor.
TONY: Whom?
HAROLD: A Mr. Thomas Banks, sir.
TONY: Send him in.
Harold bowed and walked out. Thomas walked in.
TONY: What can I do for you, Mr. Banks?
THOMAS: Did you verify the information I gave you?
TONY: It was verified for me, yes.
THOMAS: So, I was correct, then. Elvis is alive.
TONY: He is, yes. Regrettably, under less than ideal circumstances. He seems to have been brought back by André.
THOMAS: Hm. Regardless, I wish to see him. I need to take him to his mother.
TONY: I'm afraid that's not possible.
Thomas frowned.
THOMAS: Why is that?
TONY: I don't know where he is. As I said, he was brought back by André, and has teamed up with him. I confronted them last night, but they escaped. I've no idea where they've gone.
THOMAS: I suggest you find out. Promptly.
SAMI & LUCAS' APARTMENT
JOHNNY: At least, I assume it's Uncle Thomas you're talking about. I haven't actually met the guy, but you said his last name is Banks, so he must be related to Grandmother.
Sami hesitated.
SAMI: He is, yes.
JOHNNY: So, what about him? Have you actually seen him?
LUCAS: A few weeks ago, yeah.
JOHNNY: And?
SAMI: And nothing. We saw him. He said some crazy stuff, and that's it.
JOHNNY: What are you hiding from me?
SAMI: Johnny, there are some things that are very complicated right now.
JOHNNY: Oh god. Mom, come on! Spit it out! I'm thirteen! I can take it.
There was a knock at the door.
LUCAS: I'll get it.
Lucas got up and went to get the door. On the other end was E.J.
LUCAS: Oh, great. It's you.
E.J.: Nice to see you, too, Lucas. And yes, it's me. That seems to be the reaction of most of the good people of Salem. I should hope it's not also the reaction of my children.
Johnny turned around. His mouth fell open when he saw E.J.
JOHNNY: Father?
E.J.: Hello, Johnny.
JOHNNY: You...you're alive!
E.J.: Oh, yes. I am very much alive.
Johnny ran to his father and hugged him.
JOHNNY: It's so good to see you!
E.J.: It's good to see you, as well, my boy. Where's your sister? I'm sure she'll be pleased to see me, as well.
Sami and Lucas looked at each other.
E.J.: Well?
LUCAS: She's out at the moment.
SAMI: With some friends.
E.J.: Son, could your mother, Lucas and I a moment, please?
JOHNNY: Sure. There is so much stuff I've gotta show you, and tell you! I'll go find some of that.
E.J.: That would be wise.
Johnny walked off to his bedroom. E.J. shook his head.
E.J.: Samantha, I don't wish to start my return off on the wrong foot, but I have the feeling I'm going to have to pull the father card here. Sydney is my child, and you will tell me where she is.
SAMI: Or what?
