Chapter 215

DIMERA MANSION
Tony, Anna and Chad were having breakfast.
CHAD: So, I take it no one's heard any news?
Tony shook his head.
TONY: None whatsoever. André has gone completely off the grid since the night of the party the other week.
ANNA: Well, that's not really surprising. He's gotta know that half the town is looking for him.
TONY: Indeed.
CHAD: What I'm surprised at is that nobody's seen the twins.
TONY: I disagree. Cassie and Rex are smart. They know that André's gone into hiding, and I've no doubt that they are, as well.
CHAD: Yeah, but it's been months since anyone's seen or heard from them.
TONY: True.

HOPE & AIDEN'S HOUSE
Ciara and Claire were getting ready for the day. Claire had stayed overnight after the Last Blast.
CIARA: I'm glad you guys had a fun time.
CLAIRE: You did too, didn't you?
CIARA: Yeah, I did. It's just...
CLAIRE: Just what?
CIARA: I don't know. I guess I'm still kinda bummed that Theo can't come to Australia with us.
CLAIRE: I know. That totally sucks!
CIARA: I mean, I get that his dad is super protective of him and stuff. But come on! He knows how much I care about Theo, and knows that I wouldn't let anything happen to him.
CLAIRE: I don't think he's worried about anything necessarily happening. I think he just doesn't feel Theo's ready for all of the huge changes that would happen immediately once we got to Australia.
CIARA: I know. And I know change is hard for him. I'm just...I'm gonna miss him, you know?
CLAIRE: I know.
Ciara and Claire hugged.
CLAIRE: You wanna go for a walk?
Ciara nodded.
CIARA: Yeah. Thanks.
Claire and Ciara went downstairs.

KIRIAKIS MANSION
Philip came down for breakfast. Deimos was already at the table.
DEIMOS: Philip. Just the guy I wanted to see.
Philip rolled his eyes as he got into his seat.
DEIMOS: So, how as the night out?
PHILIP: Very nice, actually.
DEIMOS: Good. So, have you given any thought to what I said the other night?
PHILIP: Not really.
DEIMOS: Oh, come on! It might be fun.
PHILIP: Somehow, I have my doubts. But, for the sake of family and business relations, I suppose I'll bite. What did you have in mind, Alexandros?
DEIMOS: First of all, it's Deimos. I don't answer to my first name anymore.
PHILIP: Hey, father's probably gonna start calling you by that once you're in the business world, so get used to it.
DEIMOS: As I was going to say, I was thinking of having a guys night out. You, me, Justin and Brady. Heck, we could even invite Sonny, if we wanted to.
PHILIP: And what exactly would we be doing?
DEIMOS: Just hanging out. There's gotta be a bar or some other place we can go to. We're gonna get to know each other real well. Like I said, it'll be fun.
PHILIP: Well, if there's gonna be other people there...okay.
DEIMOS: Fantastic. Tonight after work. Since you know Salem, you pick the place.
PHILIP: Cheatin' Heart, 7 p.m.
DEIMOS: You got it.
Philip got up.
DEIMOS: Aren't you gonna have breakfast?
PHILIP: I've lost my appetite.

Awww. I hate that Theo isn't going to get to go. He would be with friends who really care about him so I don't think the change would be as upsetting as him trying to adjust to it on his own.

TITAN
Philip sat at his desk, doing paperwork. There came a knock at the door.
PHILIP: Come in.
Brady walked in.
PHILIP: Brady, take a seat. What can I do for you?
Brady sat down across from Philip.
BRADY: I'm sorry to interrupt you.
PHILIP: Don't be. I need a distraction right now. What's up?
BRADY: What do you think about Deimos?
PHILIP: I try not to, to be honest.
BRADY: Seriously, though. He's got this idea about having a guys night out over at the Cheatin' Heart. Surely you must have some thoughts.
Philip nodded.
BRADY: I'd love to hear them.
PHILIP: It's a setup.

ALAMAIN MANSION
Trix was sitting at the dining room table, eating breakfast. Nicholas walked in.
NICHOLAS: Morning.
TRIX: Morning.
NICHOLAS: Surprised to see you up already.
TRIX: I woke up early. The time change is doing my head in.
NICHOLAS: Well, I'm sure you'll catch up in the next few days.
Trix nodded. Nicholas sat down across from her. Ivan walked over and set a plate in front of him. IVAN: Your breakfast, sir.
NICHOLAS: Thank you, Ivan.
IVAN: Is there anything more I can do for you? Or you, Miss Beatrix?
Trix shook her head.
NICHOLAS: No thank you, Ivan.
IVAN: In that case, I shall be going to the hospital to check on madame.
NICHOLAS: Very well.
Ivan left the room.
TRIX: So, when do I get to meet the mysterious Auntie Vivian?
NICHOLAS: This afternoon, hopefully.
TRIX: Gotcha.
NICHOLAS: I, um...I spoke with your mother this morning.
TRIX: Why?
NICHOLAS: Well, she said you still had a lot of stuff to get, and I was working out when you could pick it up.
TRIX: Tired of me already, are you?
NICHOLAS: Trix...
TRIX: I'm joking, dad. Geez. So, what did mum say?
NICHOLAS: Well, she talked to the principal of Salem High, that's the school you'll be going to starting this September. As it happens, next Wednesday, there's going to be a trip to Australia. You can go with them. Aside from getting your things, it'll give you a chance to meet some of your new classmates.
TRIX: Whatev. That works.
A few minutes later, Trix took her dishes into the kitchen, then came back.
TRIX: I'm going for a walk. Might as well explore this town since it sounds like I'll be here for a while.
NICHOLAS: Okay. Text me when you're ready to go see Aunt Viv.
Trix walked out the door. She pulled her iPod Touch, pressed play, put her headphones in and pocketed the device. Click here to listen to the song that's playing. She then began walking around Salem.

SALEM PLACE
Trix walked through the park and soon found herself at Salem Place. Because it was the summer, Salem Place was full of people. She decided to take a seat at one of the tables. A few tables over were two young girls. One blonde, one brunette. She had noticed the brunette first. She stared at the brunette for a few minutes, but tried to make it look like she wasn't staring. She watched as the brunette got out of her seat and came towards her table. As she walked up, Trix took out her earbuds.
CIARA: Can I help you with something?

Hmmm... Trix and Ciara should be interesting. I have a feeling Trix is another troublemaker. Maybe Ciara and Claire can get her help defeating Noelle.

I'm glad Philip is onto Deimos.

Can't wait for the Australian trip!

I'm so glad that Philip is onto Deimos....and filling Brady in on it. It's nice to see them getting along.

They must have really pulled some strings to get Trix to go on the trip to Australia. It sure didn't take long for the first "confrontation" between her and the other teens in Salem.

Hmm, seems like Nicholas IS trying to get rid of Trix if he's sending her away for the summer.

DEIMOS: Sorry I'm late.

Meanwhile, the kids leave for Australia.
CLAIRE: This is gonna be so awesome!

I wonder how Trix and Ciara's conversation will go. It will be weird for Trix going on a school trip with a bunch of kids she doesn't know.

If Theo struggles a lot with new situations the trip would be completely overwhelming for him.

Chapter 217

SALEM PLACE
TRIX: Pardon?
CIARA: You've been staring at us for a while now.
TRIX: No, I wasn't.
CIARA: You totally were, though. You were looking right at us.
TRIX: I was looking past you.
CIARA: Okay, if you say so.
Ciara went back to her table.
CLAIRE: What was all that about?
CIARA: The girl at the table over to the left, she's been staring at us for about ten or so minutes.
Claire glanced in Trix's general direction.
CIARA: Don't look!
CLAIRE: What? She looks nice.
Claire got up and walked over to Trix's table.
CLAIRE: Hi.
TRIX: Hullo.
CLAIRE: I'm Claire. What's your name?
TRIX: Trix.
CLAIRE: Hi. You're new here, right?
Trix nodded.
CLAIRE: You wanna come join us?
TRIX: I wouldn't want to intrude...
CLAIRE: You're not, honest.
Ciara walked over.
CIARA: She's right. Sorry about earlier, I just get a little paranoid when people stare in my general direction for too long. I'm Ciara, by the way.
TRIX: Trix.
CLAIRE: Mind if we sit by you, since we're both over here?
TRIX: Sure.
Claire and Ciara pulled up chairs.
CIARA: Are you from England?
TRIX: Australia, actually.
CLAIRE: That's really cool! We're going there in a day or two.
TRIX: So am I. My dad wanted me to pick up my things from my mum's, so apparently I'm coming with you lot.
CLAIRE: Awesome!
Trix, Claire and Ciara spent the rest of the afternoon getting to know each other. And by the time that they parted ways, Trix was beginning to think that maybe life in Salem wouldn't be so bad after all.

TITAN
BRADY: In what sense?
PHILIP: In the sense that Deimos is totally setting us up. Seriously, this whole thing about wanting us to be one big happy family and have a guys night out, it's an act. I saw through it the moment he brought it up. He wants to get us all together and lower our guard so that, when he finally does do something to screw with us, we won't suspect a thing.
BRADY: He obviously doesn't know the Kiriakis family very well if he thinks we'll all be one big happy family.
PHILIP: Exactly. But, I've been thinking. We should play into his hands. Or, at least, make him think that's what we're doing.
BRADY: You mean, go along with it to an extent, but don't let him know we're onto him.
PHILIP: That's what I mean.
BRADY: Sounds great.

CHEATIN' HEART
That night, the Kiriakis men had gathered at the Cheatin' Heart. Philip, Brady, Justin and Sonny sat on bar stools waiting for Deimos. Philip looked at his watch.
PHILIP: He's ten minutes late.
SONNY: It's not like this is a business meeting, it's a social occasion.
JUSTIN: Either way, it's not going to be all that great.
BRADY: You guys aren't looking forward to it either, huh?
Everyone shook their heads.
SONNY: Personally, I wanna know what this Deimos guy is all about. And why Uncle Vic's never mentioned him before now.
