I voted for Damaris. Looks like you can vote multiple times a day. I was least impressed with Russell out of all of them.

I actually liked Russell's concept best. Seems the most unique. But personality wise, I like Damaris best. She would be the Paula Deen replacement.

I am still floored that two of the final three were bottom dwellers the whole competition. Like I've said before, I think the judges know exactly who the next food network star is going to be before they ever start filming.

I haven't watched yet but from what is being said, I am shocked. I think this is a slam-dunk for a certain Paula Deen replacement as Kpatch as said. |

Can't believe the finale is tonight. I am prepared to be unimpressed with the choice. It's an audience vote, so that really puts it up in the air. Whoever has the most friends wins.
When Guy Fieri won, it was an audience vote, so maybe that's why the Food Network is going back to that process. He's their most successful NFS hire ever.

They changed a bunch of stuff this year including not including Suzie & Bob in the picks..I may watch Damaris but the other 2 ..eh!

Well, yay for Damaris. I'm glad she won. What perfect timing too. Food Network just happened to be in need of a new Southern Belle and there she is.
On another note, omigosh, Danushka is an even bigger B then we knew. I can't believe that guy said he thought she went home too soon. I think she stayed on too long.
I'm glad to see that the Food Truck show Race is coming back too. I thought maybe they got rid of it but it's pretty good too.

I hate Danushka. And I hate that the judges and contestants fed her ego. She's not a nice person.
I wanted Damaris to win way back when so I'm glad she did. I don't always like the female contestants but she will be very watchable. Her pilot concept reminded me a lot of Curtis Stone's original show where he encountered people shopping in grocery stores and went home with them to help them cook for their significant other.
Felt bad for Russell, not that I wanted him to win.
It was a good season!

Weird, isn't it Kpatch? I don't think either of them will be back on for quite a while. Have you ever watched the Food Truck Race? It's pretty good. It's going to be on now at the same time as Food Network Star. |
