I thought Rodney should have been sent home. He's too out there. I like him well enough, but he doesn't follow protocol and his antics fall flat. I kind of liked the person who was sent home. I know they weren't Food Network Star material in the long run though.

Rodney's presentation was horrible but he FINALLY made something good so he saved himself. I liked the person that they sent home but I think they were right on - no improvement. You have to be able to present your food and it just wasn't happening.
I liked the show tonight too. Gastronauts! I've never heard that term before. It's cute. I wish I could have bid on that bacon cheesecake myself. YUM!

She's gone again.
I kind of like Rodney. He's unique. I don't think he deserves to win though. I like Stacy and Dimeris best. I really don't care for Nikki at all. Russell seems like a nice guy, but he's no star.

Hmmm...weird episode to me. Why come back? Russell may be nice but he annoys the heck out of me with that stupid culinary sins things. He won't let it go even when it doesn't make sense. I normally do like Stacy but she was horrible with the Donut Man. I felt bad for him because she wouldn't let the poor guy talk. However, it does seem like the judges comments had an impact on her so maybe she won't do it again. Basically, I like everyone on the Donut team and wouldn't have been upset to see the entire Pizza Team sent home.
Rodney is funny but I can barely understand him.

Wow, down to the final four! I'm glad they sent home the person they sent home. But the men who are remaining? Nope, they don't belong. I was hoping it would come down to Demaris and Stacy. I think they are the strongest. Stacy's the better cook, and Demaris has more charisma.
Out of these four, who is everyone rooting for to win?

Kpatch, I have to disagree with you. I know you don't like the person they sent home but here is my question. Are they saying Rodney is a food authority?!?!! NFW! This man has made what - two successful dishes the entire time he's been on the show? I'm so sick of hearing about what a superstar he is and how much personality he has. This is the Food Network and you're supposed to actually be able to cook aren't you? I suppose out of the four remaining I like Demaris. I like Stacey but I kind of agree with the judges, there's something missing that's not connecting for me. Honestyl though, not enthusiastic about the remaining contestants this season.

I think the final four is all for TV. They already know who the winner is. Rodney is there just because he's an entertaining contestant. No way is he going to win. Not sure why they kept Rodney around. He seems like a nice guy, but definitely not ready for prime time. I think Stacy has gone downhill. I think she's worked too hard to incorporate the mentors' feedback and she's lost some of her uniqueness in the process.

Ugh! I'm in such disbelief over all these judges falling in love with Rodney. I really like the idea of Damaris' show. It's something that's very different from anything I've ever seen on Food Network. I'd tweek it a little bit to not always be southern food though. It could just be teaching a guy how to cook any dish to impress his date or woman.
