SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Philip was rushed in on a stretcher. Stephanie followed closely behind.
NURSE: Mid-30s. Male. Amazing chest.
DANIEL: Not the...time.
NURSE: Sorry. Head injury. He's bleeding.
DANIEL: Get him into...the operating...room.
Two nurses pulled the stretcher with Philip on it into a different room.
STEPHANIE: Is he gonna be okay?
DANIEL: We'll...do...what we...can.
Daniel followed the nurses into the room.
BASIC BLACK JET
Bo, Hope, and the unconscious Koslov were on the jet flying home to Salem. Bo was on the phone.
BO: Okay. Yeah, Jesse, he'll be coming your way once we get back to Salem.
Pause.
BO: No problem. See you then.
Bo hung up.
BO: That was Jesse Hubbard, the Pine Valley police chief. He's been looking for Koslov for a while, ever since an incident involving Angie's daughter.
HOPE: Glad we found him.
BO: Me too. So, looks like you got your chance after all.
HOPE: What do you mean?
BO: Last time I saved you from Gina, you said, "How about we switch places and I save you next time?".
Hope laughed.
HOPE: I guess I did, yeah.
BO: How did you do it? Get Gina to pretend she was you and you pretend to be her?
HOPE: It wasn't that hard, really. Gina was watching us. I went to Pine Valley to get a description of Koslov from Jesse. While I was gone, Gina took over my life. I knew she was staying at Maison Blanche. So I dressed as her, kidnapped Stefano, and waited for her to show up with you.
BO: Wow! So, how was it? Saving me, I mean.
HOPE: Not as fun as I thought. But, I would do anything for you, Brady.
BO: Right back at you, Fancy Face.
Bo and Hope kiss.
SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Melanie ran in.
MELANIE: What happened? How's Philip? What did you do?
STEPHANIE: I didn't do anything. I just came over to the mansion and found him lying unconscious.
MELANIE: Is he okay?
STEPHANIE: I don't know. They took him in a long time ago.
Just then, Daniel came out of the room.
MELANIE: Daniel, how's Philip?
DANIEL: He has...a large head injury. I don't...have all of the results back. I...think...he should be okay...in a few...days.
Melanie sighed. A nurse ran out.
NURSE: Dr. Jonas, I have bad news. It's about Philip Kiriakis. He slipped into a coma.
STEPHANIE: What?
Melanie turned to Stephanie, a look of pure hatred on her face. She whispered just loud enough for Stephanie to hear.
MELANIE (whispering): If I found out that you had anything to do with this, I won't hesitate. I will kill you.
