KIRIAKIS MANSION PHILIP: I know. I'm so glad that that whole Cynthia business is over with. MELANIE: Me too. If she hadn't left, I would have clawed her eyes out. PHILIP: Well, thankfully, she left, eyes still in tact. Philip got out of bed and put some boxers on. ^^Clever dialog! And thanks for the visual! Loved this bit of conversation too:
KIRIAKIS MANSION Philip opened his bedroom door. PHILIP: What the hell are you doing here? Stephanie walked in. STEPHANIE: You always answer the door in your boxers or is this a special treat because you're excited to see me? This story is great so far. Can't wait to read more. Chapter 5 PARK Mia was sitting on a bench, thinking. So many things had been going on lately. She wasn't sure what to think. She got out her cell phone and sent a text that read "can we talk?". A few minutes later, the reply came from Will: "Sure. What's up?". Mia typed in her response. MIA: I want to see you in person. Will's next message came: "Where are you at?". Mia's response: MIA: Meet me at the Brady Pub in twenty. Will sent one last message: "okay. Sounds good". Mia put her cell phone in her pocket and got up. MIA: Wait a minute, why was I reading out my responses? And why am I talking to myself? Oh, man! Maybe I'm just going crazy. KIRIAKIS MANSION PHILIP: I'm gonna ask you one more time, and this time I want a real answer. What are you doing here? STEPHANIE: I told you, I'm here to see you. PHILIP: At this time in the morning? STEPHANIE: Check your watch, Philip. It's almost noon. PHILIP: What? MELANIE: We must have overslept. Or got distracted. PHILIP: Aw, jeez! I don't believe this! I'm super late! Dad's gonna kill me! Philip frantically threw on some clothes, kissed Melanie, and ran out the door. STEPHANIE: Well, that was shorter than I'd hoped it would be. By this time, Melanie had gotten up and put on her robe. STEPHANIE: Still, I see Philip's still as buff as always. Hot! MELANIE: Well, as you can see, Philip's not here, so you're welcome to leave at any time, Steph. STEPHANIE: Oh, I will. But not until we've had a chat of our own, Mel. You see, I came here for more than one reason. MELANIE: Well, this oughta be good, in fact, I'm dying to hear it. So, tell me Steph, why are you here? STEPHANIE: I'm here to take back what you stole from me. And this time, I'm not leaving Salem until he's mine and only mine. |

LOL at Mia wondering why she's talking to herself. Because she's in Salem, that's why. I wonder if Stephanie means she wants Philip back. Thanks for the visuals, Andre. Too bad Philip got dressed so fast.  Super chapter, Andre. Fantastic dialogue. I loved it. |

Chapter 6 BRADY PUB Mia walked in to find Will sitting at a table. When Will saw her, he got up, walked over, and hugged Mia. WILL: Hey. MIA: Hey. WILL: Wanna sit down? Mia nodded. She and Will sat down at a table. WILL: It's good to see you. MIA: It's good to see you, too. WILL: So, what's up? MIA: I need you to help me. WILL: Well, I will help you in any way that I can. Only as a friend, though. MIA: Yeah, I get that. And I wasn't thinking anything like that. I just...I need someone to talk to. Someone to help me figure all of this out. WILL: Okay. So, what's going on? MIA: Well, for one, I just learned recently that I'm a DiMera. KIRIAKIS MANSION MELANIE: So, you think that's how it's gonna go down, do you? STEPHANIE: Oh, I don't just think. I know that's how it's gonna go down. MELANIE: Oh really? STEPHANIE: Yeah, really. I'm gonna get Philip back and there's not a thing you can do to stop me. MELANIE: So, why don't you just go ahead and tell me about all of your brilliant plans to take him away from me? STEPHANIE: Yeah, like I'm really gonna tell you. I want it to be a surprise. I want you to sit there and watch as the man you love slowly comes back to me. I want you to feel that pain, knowing that there's nothing you can do to stop it. Melanie laughed. MELANIE: You know, I would think by now you'd know what type of girl I am, but I guess you just learn at a slower speed than most. Here's how it's really gonna go down. Philip and I are gonna get married. I'm gonna be Mrs. Philip Kiriakis. You can try to stop me, if you want, but it'll never work. You seem to have forgotten, Steph, that I know how to fight back. So, if you're looking for a fight, and you've chosen me as your opponent, expect an all-out war. One which you will lose. Because, Stephanie, you will lose. |

Yes slyn11, this is a sequel to "Salem Beauty (or, A Few Good Salemites)", my homage to two great films: "American Beauty" and "A Few Good Men", as well as featuring a kidnapping story. It features the return of Princess Gina as well as Cynthia, who tries to convince Philip that she had his baby ten years ago. Chapter 7 BRADY PUB WILL: You're a what? MIA: Ssh! Don't tell anyone! I don't want them to know! WILL: How is this possible? MIA: I don't know. I guess my mother was kidnapped by Stefano a long time ago and trapped on a seemingly deserted island. Of course, it wasn't entirely deserted. The island's other occupant was Stefano's son, Tony. He and my mom became intimate, and she had me, but that wasn't until after she was saved from the island. WILL: Wait, Tony DiMera is your father? MIA: Yep. WILL: That's great! MIA: No, Will, it's not. He's a DiMera. WILL: But, he's one of the nice ones. MIA: There are no nice DiMera's. WILL: Sure there are. There's Tony, Lexie was until she died, so was Benjy, and there's Chad. MIA: Wait, Chad's a DiMera? WILL: Yeah. MIA: This is so weird. Wait, how can you say Tony's a good DiMera? What about all those murders he committed a few years ago? WILL: That wasn't Tony, that was André. MIA: What? Does Tony have an evil twin or something? WILL: Not an evil twin so much as an evil cousin. A long time ago, Stefano gave André plastic surgery to look exactly like Tony. For the better part of 20 years, everyone thought that André was Tony. Then, of course, the truth came out a few years ago. MIA: Interesting. WILL: You can trust Tony, Mia. He's one of the good guys. POLICE OFFICE Bo and Hope were both at computers. HOPE: Brady, come here. I think I've found something. Bo walked over to Hope's computer. BO: Is that Maison Blanche? |
