wendylou, I've been watching some of the early Mad Men episodes that I recorded during the Marathon. Shoot, Nixon vs Kennedy, and The Wheel are standouts so far. (The show was so good pre-Megan.) I didn't remember that Peggy's baby was given to her mother and sister to care for. I thought the baby was adopted immediately. I don't know at what point the baby was given to someone else, do you?

No Kpatch I didn't remember that. I have Netflix and Mad Men is on there. I want to watch some of the older episodes eventually. I recorded the first episode during the last marathon but my DVR deleted it to make room before I watched it. I definitely will watch them again though. I think might be cool to watch it with a new point of view now that I know how it ends. |

Thanks Kpatch. I think I saw some of that when it was on. I am so glad the show got so many Emmy noms. I know they won't win them all but I would sure love to see it get best drama one last time and more than any other - I REALLY want Jon Hamm to win. I know there's a lot of competition but I just think he killed it at the end. I think of that phone scene between him and Betty and actually all of his last calls. They were gut wrenching. I watch Morning Joe a lot when I get ready and when they were talking about the Emmys this morning Joe was saying Jon Hamm should get best actor. I hope others agree. |
