Chapter 16 SYDNEY'S BEDROOM The girls were now dressed. CERI: So, it's Spring Break this week. What do you want to do? SYDNEY: I don't know. I wanna spend it with you, though. CERI: Sounds good to me. Sydney's phone went off. She picked it up and saw a next text from a number she didn't recognize. CERI: Who's that? SYDNEY: No idea. I've never seen the number. And the message reads "where are you?". CERI: That's weird. Sydney typed in "who is this?". A new message popped up seconds later. CERI (reading): "You know very well who this is." Sydney typed "No, no I don't". Another message popped up. SYDNEY (reading): "Well, you will soon". POLICE STATION There was a knock on Bo's door. BO: It opens. The door opened. Shane and Jeannie Donovan walked in. SHANE: Glad to be back so soon. BO: Good to have you back, partner. Jeannie. JEANNIE: Uncle Bo. Shane and Bo shook hands, then Bo hugged Jeannie. BO: Please, take a seat. The three sat down. SHANE: So, what's the case this time? BO: Another murder. JEANNIE: Well, we know it's not André. He killed himself. BO: No, this time I've got a pretty good idea of who committed the murder. SHANE: Who? BO: My daughter. Chelsea. UNDISCLOSED LOCATION At an undisclosed location, a shadowy figure stood. FIGURE: They'll never figure it out. |

Oh great!! Bo is convinced that Chelsea is the killer, so he probably won't even look any further... he will just try to figure out a way to cover it up and the real killer will go free (at least until Andre' decides they will be revealed!!)

Whew, finally got caught up. I am also glad Morgan is dead, but why does Bo think Chelsea killed her? I doubt think at all it was Chelsea.

Chapter 17 SYDNEY'S BEDROOM CERI: I wonder what that's all about. SYDNEY: It's probably just Johnny trying yo mess with me again. He does that from time to time. CERI: I thought Johnny was in England. SYDNEY: He is, but he can still text. CERI: So, what now? SYDNEY: Who knows? But, as long as I'm with you, I'll be fine. Ceri and Sydney kissed. POLICE STATION SHANE: Bo, why would Chelsea commit a murder? BO: Simple: the victim was a former friend of hers. Morgan Hollingsworth. Morgan had been trying, unsuccessfully, for the last several weeks to try and get Max to leave Chelsea and be with her. Her most recent. attempt involved dressing up as Melanie and faking an ultrasound. When Chelsea found out, she was furious. So, she went out in the middle of the night and killed Morgan. SHANE: Why go as far as murder, though? BO: Morgan was a problem and had to be eliminated. SHANE: Well, that doesn't sound like Chelsea. Bo, you and her are practically alike. JEANNIE: Yeah, Uncle Bo. I remember Chelsea from my in-training days. She may be a hot-head just like you, but I doubt she'd ever go as far as murder. SHANE: Any other suspects? BO: Well, there is André. SHANE: Bo, we just discussed this. André's dead. BO: That doesn't mean anything. The guy's a DiMera. Wait, Jeannie, did you say you met her in training? JEANNIE: Yeah, back when she and Max were in England. She was in the same training group as me. BO: What training? JEANNIE: ISA training. BO: Chelsea's ISA? |

Chapter 18 BRADY PUB Bo, Shane, and Jeannie were at the Brady Pub. Chelsea was there, too. The four were sitting at. table, talking. BO: When did you think I was going to find out? CHELSEA: I was going to tell you. Honestly, I was. BO: When? CHELSEA: I was on a top-secret mission. I still am. BO: What mission? CHELSEA: All right, I'll tell you this because there are two other ISA agents here. But, we need you to swear to silence. BO: Okay. So, what's the mission? CHELSEA: Operation: J. D. JEANNIE: No way! They put you in Operation: J. D.? SHANE: That is amazing! Especially since your still one of the ISA's newest members. BO: Okay, non-ISA agent in the room here. Please explain, what is Operation: J. D. SHANE: Several months go, we caught wind of a string of illegal activities. The culprit was a man identified only by the name Jeremia D. BO: What's the D stand for? JEANNIE: No one knows. It could be anything. CHELSEA: Last sighting of him was in Salem. That's why Max and I came back out here. BO: Okay. So, moving on a step, as you know, Morgan was murdered the other night. CHELSEA: Yeah, I heard. BO: Did you have anything yo do with that? SALEM PLACE - FLASHBACK
Chelsea was walking through Salem Place
CHELSEA: You betrayed a sister, Morgan. And now you have to pay.
As Chelsea got deeper into Salem Place, she saw Morgan. She also saw a shadowy figure.
FIGURE: You're going to pay for ruining everybody's lives.
The shadowy figure shot Morgan twice. Chelsea ran so as not to be seen.BRADY PUB CHELSEA: Nope. But I do know who the murderer was. It was Jeremia D. |

Chapter 19 THE BRADY PUB SHANE: How can you know for sure that it's Jeremia D.? CHELSEA: He fit the description. Early 50s, shadowy figure, has a warped sense of justice. BO: What does that mean? JEANNIE: Jeremia D. has committed a long list of crimes over the past few years, one of which is murder. The few times someone's seen him, he's always talked about righting some great wrong. SHANE: It's like he's trying to be a good and bad guy at the same time. He wants to do the right thing, but uses illegal, sometimes amoral methods to accomplish these things. BO: But, he can't get away with it this time. Chelsea you saw him. CHELSEA: It was 11:15 at night. It was pitch black, all of the stores in Salem Place were either closed or closing. I saw a man who matched the description, but I wasn't sure that it was him. It could have been anybody. In hindsight, yes, I do believe that that man was Jeremia D. But, as they say, hindsight is 20/20. BO: So, we're right back to where we started. SHANE: Not necessarily. We have a name and an idea of what he looks like. Now it's just a matter of waiting for him to slip up. And, believe me, he will slip up. Criminals like him always do. THE PIER Sydney and Ceri were walking along the Pier, holding hands. The Pier hadn't changed much in five years, it was still a pretty dark place. Sydney shivered as they passed one of the docks. CERI: You okay? SYDNEY: Yeah. Just...memories. CERI: I'm sorry. If you wanna go someplace else, we could. SYDNEY: No, I like it here. The sound of the water is soothing. Besides, I'm with you. There's no place I'd rather be than with you. Ceri and Sydney kissed. SYDNEY: I know that I'll be fine as long as I'm with you. Ceri put an arm around Sydney. CERI: Come on. The two walked off, neither one knowing that Jeremia D. was watching them from behind a crate of fish. |
