Great mood setting, Peachy. I could picture the whole scene. Great dialog too. Looking forward to the conclusion.

Ok everyone - here is the final chapter...
Part 11
The party continues and everyone comes up and congratulates Chloe and Elliott. Finally, Melanie walks up alone and Elliott excuses himself so she and Chloe can speak privately.
“Chloe, I am so happy for you and Elliott and I wanted to thank you for allowing Phillip and I to look after Pat this weekend.”
“Melanie, I am thrilled that you and Phillip have decided to stay married and work on your relationship. I hope you and Phillip will always feel comfortable with each other, and especially with Pat. I wouldn’t want him to cause either one of you, but especially you, any trouble.”
“Pat is a wonderful little boy and I am thankful that you are allowing me to be part of his life after all the horrible things I said to you and about you to Kate.”
“We are not even mentioning her name tonight,” says Chloe. “Tonight is about love and romance and wonderful friends.”
“That is a great sentiment Chloe. I hope one day that you and I can truly be friends. I think you would make a great friend.”
“Melanie, that is so sweet. The two of us need to get together one day soon and go shopping, or just hang out together.”
“It’s a date Chloe. Call me,” Melanie says as she walks away.
Victor walks up to the band and asks for a moment.
The crowd gets quiet as Victor clears his throat. “Thank you all so much for coming and helping us celebrate the recent marriage of Chloe and Elliot.”
Everyone starts clapping and Chloe and Elliott stand up and wave to all their friends.
“I promised that I wouldn’t do what I am about to do, but I spoke with Chloe and see said it was okay. Phillip, Melanie and Maggie can you join me up here for a minute?”
Phillip and Melanie walk up to the stage and Maggie just looks at Victor and he looks at her.
Victor slowly walks to Maggie, takes her hand and leads her up to the stage.
“Many of you know me,” crowd laughs, “and knows that I pretty much like to do things my way all the time.”
“Well, this is one of those times, I have asked this lovely lady beside me to be my wife and she has agreed. Being the sweetest woman on earth, she didn’t want to spoil Chloe and Elliott’s big night, but Chloe insisted that I share the news with everyone here.” He raises his glass, “Thanks Chloe.”
“Therefore, you are all invited to a double ceremony, of sorts. Phillip and Melanie have decided to re-new their vows and Maggie and I are getting married in two weeks. You are all our dearest friends and family and we would love to have you all with us as we begin the next chapter in our lives.”

Peachy, that was lovely. Just a perfect ending. Victor and Chloe making amends. Melanie and Chloe making amends. Hope for Philip and Melanie's future. And I loved how Victor did it his way at the end and announced his upcoming marriage to Maggie. That's so Victor!
Bravo on the completion of your first story. I am sure it won't be your last! Thank you for posting it for our enjoyment here!
