Hey everyone... this is my very first attempt, so be gentle.
Our story begins with Victor getting Titan back from Brady...
Victor calls one of his spies at Titan. “Steve, do you have everything in place for the next board meeting?”
“Mr. Kiriakis, everything is as you wanted it”, replied Steve.
“Wonderful, it will be so good to get the company back from Brady. But since he has been doing such an outstanding job running the company, I am going to offer him the position of President.”
Victor has worked his magic and once again controls Titan as CEO. He and Brady have worked out their differences and Brady is continuing to run the company as he has been since the ‘takeover’.
Brady: “Grandfather, thank you for allowing me to continue to run Titan, even though I temporarily took it away from you.”
Victor: “Brady, I am just doing what is right. I was very upset with you for the way you handled things, but thinking back, I realize that I would have handled things exactly the same way. Your mother would have been proud of the way you have handled yourself and even prouder of the fact that we have worked out our differences.”
Brady: “You mean she would be proud of YOU for finally realizing that everything didn’t have to be done YOUR way for things to work.”
Victor chuckling, “You are right as usual.”
Brady: “Changing topics here, what is going on with you and Maggie?”
“Well, we have a date next weekend and are taking things one step at a time.” Victor remarked.
Meanwhile, at Chez Rouge Maggie talking to Julie about Victor.
Julie: “Aunt Maggie, I have heard through the grapevine that you and Victor are getting pretty chummy. What is going on with you two?”

Thanks for all the encouraging words. I am going to try and post at least 2 times a week and am also thinking about changing the title. The title may be a little misleading, because it is not just about Victor and Maggie, but a little of everyone.
Any way, here is Chapter 2...
Maggie: “Well every since your Uncle Mickey died, I have tried to think about what he would want me to do with my life. I know that he wouldn’t want me to be alone forever. It has been real hard to go on without Mickey, but Victor has been a wonderful friend to me.” “We have been taking our time and really getting to know each other and surprisingly enough, I have found that Victor has a great sense of humor and can make me laugh.”
Julie: “I think that is wonderful. You are right Uncle Mickey wouldn’t want you to spend the rest of your life alone. You have too much love not to share it with someone.”
Back at the Kiriakis Mansion, Victor is talking on the telephone making arrangements for his date with Maggie.
“That is great news. Just make sure the Titan jet is fueled up and ready to leave Saturday morning.”
Maggie walks in at the end of the conversation and Victor smiles when he sees her and signs off with the person on the other end of the phone.
“Maggie, what a wonderful surprise. I wasn’t expecting to see you today.”
“Well, I had some time before Chez Rouge opens for the evening, so I thought I would drop by and see what you had planned for our date this weekend, but it appears that you are going to be leaving town. I hope everything is okay at Titan.”
“Everything is going great now that Brady and I are working together. What you overheard was me making arrangements for our date this weekend.”
“An out of town date? Victor, I don’t think I am ready to go away for the weekend with you.”
“Oh no, Maggie, you misunderstood. CATS is opening in San Francisco this weekend and I know how much you wanted to see it, so I have bought us tickets for opening night. I thought we could fly out this Saturday, spend the day sightseeing, take in the show and then fly back to Salem.”
“Victor, how thoughtful and I am sorry that I assumed the worse,” cries Maggie.
Victor looks at Maggie tenderly and says “If I thought you were ready for a romantic rendezvous, I would be taking you to Paris and not just for the weekend.”
Maggie blushes and said “I know that but I am just not ready. I like that we are getting to know each other slowly and building a relationship on friendship.”
Maggie has a suggestion, “Victor now that Chloe and Elliot are married, why don’t you throw them a reception at Chez Rouge. After all, she is the mother of your grandson and I know how important family is to you.”
“Maggie, you know how I feel about Chloe, I just don’t think that I would be able to be that gracious to her. But I will promise to think about your suggestion.”

For those of you who don't know, Elliot appeared in another story called Chloe's Aunt. I am sorta continuing that story over here. Chloe's sons name is also now Patrick instead of Parker. Hope you don't get too confused.

This story is good GAPeach. I like that Maggie is talking to Julie about Uncle Mickey and Victor. I can definitely see that happening.
Victor's date arrangements are so thoughtful. I am enjoying seeing it all unfold. Thanks Peachy!

A trip to see CATS sounds like such a romantic gesture - that Victor is a charmer. Thanks for another fun chapter!

Chapter 3
Brady and Phillip are talking at The Brady Pub.
Phillip: “I am so glad you and father worked everything out and are running Titan together.”
Brady: “Yeah, me too! As much as he drives me crazy, I do love Grandfather and know that I need him to be involved in Titan. I also want you to be more involved Phillip.”
“I appreciate that Brady, but I am happy with the responsibilities that I have and really don’t want to be more involved right now. Now that Chloe and Elliot are married and Pat is so happy with them, I can devote myself to the traveling that needs to be done for Titan.”
“Phillip, that does that mean you are not going to be a part of your son’s life?” asks Brady.
“Oh no, I will always be a part of his life, but he loves Elliot and Elliot is doing such a wonderful job of being a father to Pat, I don’t want to confuse things. Pat knows that I am his biological father and always will be. He calls me Papa Phillip and calls Elliot daddy, which is only right since Elliot with be there day in and day out.”
“You have really matured since Pat was born and we all found out that he was your son.”
“Yeah well, I am just glad that Chloe is finally with someone who worships the ground she walks on. I know that between the two of them (and Aunt Marian) that Pat is going to do just fine in life.”
Brady: “That is wonderful news Phillip. I am proud of you for putting your son first. I know that it is hard for you. On another subject, what is going on with you and Melanie?”

Oh, this could be interesting. Philip allowing his son to be raised by someone else because it's the right thing to do. And Melanie is in the picture. There was a time when I liked Melanie and Philip together, so I am interested to see how this unfolds. Thanks for the chapter Peachy!

It sounds like Philip won't be in Salem much. I don't know this Elliot fellow so of course I don't approve, but as usual Philip didn't ask for my advice (none of those silly Salemites ever do). Thanks for posting another chapter GApeach, it sounds interesting.

A little background on Elliott for Kazz and all other inquiring minds. Before Chloe found out that Nancy and Craig Wesley were her parents, she was in a foster home. Elliott was in the same foster home and they became really good friends. He was always there for her (on the soap boards anyway) and when her marriage to Daniel fell apart and she started suffering from postpartum depression, he came to her rescue and they rekindled their friendship and of course, one thing led to another and they eloped.
