Wow that was a fast SORAS. Wes is 17. Poor Wes can't wait till he sees the memory books that Chloe and Philip did. I wonder if they changed some of the answers. Should be fun looking at them again. Thanks Kpatch.

LOL at Philip offering to beat up Emma's dad. I enjoyed Philip talking to Wes about girl problems. I'm looking forward to Wes reading the memory books. I like Philip and Chloe having teenage kids to deal with. I loved the surprise SORAS.

PHILIP’S STUDY
Philip was rummaging through desk drawers and looking in the bookcase when Chloe appeared in the doorway. She stood there with her arms folded across her chest and watched him for a few minutes with some amusement.
Chloe: What are you looking for? Philip: Man, you scared me. Chloe: Sorry, should have had the butler announce me. Philip: We don’t have a butler. Chloe: I know. What are you doing, Philip? Philip: I’m looking for those memory books. Chloe: What memory books? Philip: Very funny. You know what I’m talking about. I can’t remember seeing them after we moved here from Salem. Chloe: Why do you want them? Philip: Because ... it’s time. Chloe: Time for what? Philip: Time for Wes and Faith to find out the rest of the story. Chloe: Okay, you just lost me. I have no idea what you’re talking about. Philip: Wes just told me his version of our love story. Chloe: Really? I’d like to hear what he has to say. Philip: It’s a very short story. Readers Digest version. Chloe: What’s a readers digest? Philip: My father had a subscription. Nevermind. Now are you gonna help me find the memory books or not? Chloe: Are you sure you want to share all those personal thoughts with them? Philip: That’s why we wrote it all down. Chloe: No, that’s why you said we were writing them down. In reality, you were testing my memory. Philip: Okay, let’s not split hairs. Chloe: Fine, but do you really think they’re ready to hear it all? Philip: Why not? Chloe: Some of it is X-rated. Philip: They’re not babies anymore, Chloe. We taught them about the birds and the bees. Chloe: It’s one thing learning about it, it’s another thing ... oh my god. Is Wesley having ... with Emma? Philip: Yes he is. But you didn’t hear it from me. Chloe: Oh gee. Something else to worry about. Philip: Stop worrying and help me find the damn notebooks. Chloe: Calm down, Philip! I know exactly where they are. Philip: You do? Why didn’t you say so? Where are they? Chloe: Follow me. Philip followed Chloe to their bedroom. She opened the trunk at the foot of their bed, moved aside a few photo albums, scrap books, and baby blankets, and pulled out the memory books. Philip: That’s where they were? Chloe: I keep a lot of important things in here. She handed Philip the notebooks which were a little worse for age. He flipped through a couple pages and smiled. Philip: I’m glad we did this. I’m glad we wrote down our history for prosperity. Chloe: You mean posterity. Philip laid the books on top of the trunk and pulled Chloe toward him, placing his arms around her back. Philip: No, I mean prosperity. All these memories, all this history we share has enriched my life. I’d be a poor man without you and our kids. Chloe: Oh Philip. You always say the sweetest things. I think that’s why I keep you around. She kissed him softly and began fingering his shirt buttons. Philip pulled away. Philip: Hold that thought for me. Wes is waiting. Is Faith home? She needs to hear this too. Philip scooped up the memory books, took Chloe’s hand and led her out of the bedroom.
To be continued ...

Love that Chloe kept them in such a special place. Of course Chloe knew where they were. Who does most of the cleaning and putting away in the house MOM. If not for my Mom I would have never finished school. I always did my assignments early and put them away when it came time to hand them in I could never find them Mom always did. Loved the chapter Kpatch can't wait to see the kids reaction to the books.

My husband is the same way... never knows where to find anything, but what's really funny is that he won't even ask me first. He just starts looking all around and then I ask him, what are you looking for. When he says what it is, I say "it's so & so"... really men can be so clueless. ;D

I liked Chloe's apprehension at letting the kids read some of the more Xrated parts of the memory books. It was sweet that she stored them with things that are important to her. LOL at Chloe not knowing what Readers Digest is. I'm looking forward to the kids reading the memory books.
By the way, I loved the SORAS twist in the story.
