I'm glad Chloe put the letter back together and admitted that she tore it up. I really hope it isn't anything bad, I can't blame Chloe for worrying that something bad will happen to them. They've had more than their share of bad times. LOL at Chloe telling Philip that he deserved the beatings from his girlfriends' and wives' fathers.

THE LAKE HOUSE

Philip: Let’s talk about the letter for a minute.
Chloe: You’re going, aren’t you? You’re leaving us again.
Philip: Did you read the letter?
Chloe: Some of it. They want you back.
Philip: I should have told you about the letter. I knew it was coming.
Chloe got up off of Philip’s lap. Her eyes grew wide with anger.
Chloe: You knew? How long have you known?
Philip: I got an email from Ed Hudgens last week. He told me to expect a letter. I kind of wanted to see what they were going to say.
Chloe: Great, so when do you leave?
Philip: I don’t.
Chloe: What do you mean?
Philip: I mean ... they want me to move. They want me to take a job with them, a full time job at headquarters, and I’m going to tell them no.
Chloe: You are?
Philip: Yes, I’m turning down the offer.
Chloe: Why?
Philip: What do you mean “why”?
Chloe: I mean, weren’t you even going to discuss it with me?
Philip: We did discuss it.
Chloe: When?
Philip: Don’t make me worry about your memory again.
Chloe: Philip! Answer me. When did we discuss this?
Philip: I don’t know. About a year ago, when you first told me you were pregnant with Faith.
Chloe: Okay, now I’m really confused. How could we have discussed this offer a year ago when it didn’t come until today?
Philip: We didn’t discuss this offer per se. We talked about moving, and you said you didn’t want to leave Salem. Now do you remember?
Chloe: Oh. That’s right.
Philip: Good. End of subject.
Chloe: Suppose I want to re-open the subject. Suppose I’ve changed my mind?
Philip: Have you?
Chloe: Maybe. I mean ... let’s talk about it ... the offer.
Philip: Are you saying you want to move away from Salem?
Chloe: I’m saying I don’t love it here. Too many bad things have happened, and ... I’d be open to starting a brand new life somewhere else.
Philip: Wow, you just blew my mind. I thought I knew you so well.

Ok I am waiting for the shoe to drop and this is not it. I am shocked at Chole saying she would move. She just got her oprea house and the chance to do all the productions that she wants and she is willing to leave that all behind. Love that they are talking and not keeping anything from eachother. THE LAKE HOUSE, PHILIP AND CHLOE’S BEDROOM

Chloe was in bed reading when Philip came into the bedroom.
Chloe: You were gone a long time.
Philip leaned over and kissed her, and Chloe stroked his cheek.
Philip: Miss me?
Chloe: Of course. But what took you so long?
Philip: Nothing. I just like spending time with the kids.
Chloe: Philip! You got them worked up, didn’t you?
Philip: No, of course not.
Philip smiled mischievously.
Chloe: You are so bad. I think out of the three of you, you’re the biggest baby. So, are they sleeping now?
Philip sat on the edge of the bed and took off his shoes.
Philip: Wes is. Faith was talking to herself when I left her room. She’s pretty chatty for a two month old.
Chloe: She takes after you. Except she usually makes more sense.
Philip: What???
Chloe laughed while Philip feigned anger. He crawled onto the bed toward Chloe and he pinned her down. He squinted at her and tried to appear menacing, while she continued to laugh.
Philip: Are you saying you think I’m full of it?
Chloe: God yes.
Philip: Take that back.
Chloe: No way.
Philip: You take that back Chloe Lane Kiriakis, or I’ll make you sorry you were ever born.
Chloe: Oh yeah? What are you gonna do to me?
He began tickling her, lightly trailing his fingertips down the sides of her body, making his way under her nightgown.
Philip: Unspeakable things.
Chloe giggled and squirmed.
Chloe: Oh I’m terrified.
Philip: Damn!
Chloe: What?
Philip: I used to be able to cut people down to size with just a sneer. I think I’ve gone soft.
Chloe: I know a way to fix that.
Philip raised his eyebrows.
Philip: Oh? How?
Chloe unbuckled Philip’s belt and unzipped his pants.
Chloe: I’d rather show you than tell you.
She slipped her arms around his back and pulled him into an open mouthed kiss. He broke away to catch his breath.
Philip: Wow, you don’t mess around, do you?
Chloe: I’m all about messing around. Now shut up and kiss me.
Philip: So you do think I talk to much.
Chloe rolled her eyes and pulled on Philip’s shirt placket. He lowered his body onto hers and complied with her demand as their lips attached.
