HATE ME NOW?

Its night time in Salem as EJ pours himself a night cap. He’s about to take a sip when the doorbell rings. He puts his glass down and walks to the door to answer it. It’s Aaron or as EJ knows him as Alex Santiago.

Aaron/Alex
“Hello EJ.”

EJ
“Alex, it’s pretty late. What can I do for you?”

Aaron/Alex
“I know, but I have great news.”

EJ
“Ok, come on in.”

Aaron walks in as EJ close the door.

Aaron/Alex
“This big mansion and you have to answer your own door?”

Aaron asks as they head into the living room.

EJ
“I gave Harold the night off.”

Aaron/Alex
“Well isn’t that nice.”

EJ
“Yes, now what is this good news you have?”

Aaron/Alex
“I’m willing to do business with you and your father.”

EJ
“That’s excellent news. I’m sure Victor Kiriakis didn’t take it well.”

Aaron/Alex
“Nope. Not at all, but let’s not worry about him. Let’s talk business.”

EJ
“Tomorrow. I’ll call you with the time.”

Aaron/Alex
“I just have one thing to discuss with you before I go.”

EJ
“What’s that?”

Aaron/Alex
“The contract. I wonder if you were able to read it over and sign it.”

EJ
“Oh yes. My father and I looked it over and signed it.”

Aaron/Alex
“Cool, could you go get it.”

EJ
“Sure.”

EJ smirks as he walks over to the desk to get the contract from his desk drawer. Meanwhile, Nicole walks down the stairs and into the living room. She sees Aaron standing there.

Nicole
“You again.”

She says in dismay. EJ and Aaron turn to look at her.

Aaron/Alex
“Mist…I mean Nicole.”

EJ
“You two know each?”

Nicole
“I don’t know him, but he seems to know me.”
Aaron/Alex
“Yeah we know each other from a long time ago, but that was a long time ago.”

EJ
“You started to call her Misty.”

Aaron/Alex
“Yeah that’s how I know her.”

EJ stares at Aaron. Aaron stares back.

EJ
“I think it’s time for you to leave Mr. Santiago.”

Aaron/Alex
“Ok I will as soon as you hand over the contract.”

EJ looks at the contract in his hand. He then places it on the table.

EJ
“Not tonight. Good night Mr. Santiago.”

Aaron/Alex looks over at Nicole then back at EJ.

Aaron/Alex
“Fine, we’ll talk in the morning.”

EJ
“I’ll call you. Don’t just drop by.”

Aaron/Alex
“I won’t.”

Aaron turns to walk away then stops to talk to Nicole.

Aaron/Alex
“I hope we can catch up.”

EJ
“Leave now.”

EJ yells. Aaron looks at EJ then back at Nicole before leaving. EJ walks up to Nicole and hugs her.

EJ
“Are you ok?”

He asks. They stop hugging.

Nicole
“Fine. I just don’t know that guy, but he really creeps me out.”

EJ
“Don’t worry, you won’t have to see him again.”

EJ pulls Nicole into another hug.

EJ
“Why don’t you take a warm bath and I’ll be up in a little bit.”

Nicole
“That sounds amazing.”

EJ gives Nicole a kiss before she heads upstairs. EJ waits until he can’t see her anymore then makes a phone call. He demands the person on the other line to find out everything they can find on Alex Santiago especially his connection to Misty Circles. Across town, Mia and Will are having dinner at The Brady Pub. They’re laughing and having a good time. Until they’re interrupted by Mia’s phone ringing. She looks at ID then hits ignore. Will is suspicious.

Will
“Who’s that?”

Mia
“Nobody”

Will
“It was obviously somebody. Your phone doesn’t just call itself. Plus you’ve been ignoring your phone a lot.”

Mia
“Fine, it was my dad.”

Will
“Why are you ignoring your dad?”

Mia
“Because he’s annoying. I have nothing to say to him.”

Will
“Ok.”

Will says confusedly as he takes a sip of his milkshake. Aaron enters The Pub and notices Will and Mia dining. He walks over to them.

Aaron
“Hello.”

He said. Will and Mia look at him.

Will
“Hello?”

Mia
“What the hell do you want?”

Aaron
“Well you weren’t answering your phone calls so I thought I come by to see you.”

Mia
“When someone doesn’t answer your calls it means that they don’t want to talk to you. It doesn’t mean you should go and track them down. I don’t even know how you got my number.”

Aaron
“Well I’m your father so I can do whatever I want. Now get up and follow me outside so that we can talk.”

Mia
“I’m in the middle of a date if you can see.”

Aaron looks at Will then at Mia.

Aaron
“He can wait.”

Mia rolls her eyes.

Aaron
“Come on, let’s go.”

Mia stands up and heads for the door with Aaron close behind her. They walk outside. Mia turns around in disgust.

Mia
“So what the hell do you want?”

Aaron
“That’s now how you talk to your father.”

Mia
“I don’t care.”

Aaron
“Anyways, I want to talk to you about your mom.”

Mia
“She’s dead who cares?”

Aaron
“About that…”

Aaron stops, but is interrupted by Will.

Will
“Sorry to interrupt...”

Mia
“You’re not interrupting anything.”

Will
“Ok. Well I have to head home. My mom wants me to watch the twins and Sydney.”

Mia
“I’ll help.”

Will
“I don’t…”

Will starts, but Mia grabs his hand as they walk away. Aaron tries to stop them, but with no avail. He huffs. Suddenly, he’s grabbed by two guys from behind. He struggles to get away, but another man puts a bag over his head. They drag him to a van that is waiting for them. They climb inside then the van drives off. The van drives for a while before it arrives in a back alley next to the pier. The driver gets out and walks around to the back where he opens the door. The 3 men toss Aaron out of the van. The driver takes off his mask. It’s EJ!

EJ
“That’s not very nice.”

He chuckles. The 3 men jump out of the back.

EJ
“Stand him up.”

EJ orders. The men stand him up. EJ then orders them to throw Aaron on the ground and kick him. The three men take turns kicking Aaron till EJ tells them to stop. Aaron gasps for air. EJ kneels down next to him.

EJ
“My father was so interested in sticking it to Victor Kiriakis he didn’t do any checking on you, but I did…Aaron McCormick. Former undercover cop for the FBI assigned to bring down a porn ring, but you threw it all away because of Misty Circle.”

EJ stands up and kicks Aaron.

EJ
“You became obsessed with her.”

EJ kicks him again.

EJ
“She wanted you to leave her alone, but no you couldn’t”
EJ kicks him again.

EJ
“And when she tried to get away from you, you decided to go after her. Causing her to crash and she went into a coma for 3 months. Killing her baby.”

EJ kicks him again.

EJ
“If you haven’t figured it out yet.”

EJ pulls out his gun and attaches the silencer.

EJ
“Our contract has been terminated.”

EJ points the gun at Aaron then pulls the trigger hitting him in the stomach. He watches Aaron as he begins to bleed out. Aaron starts laughing. EJ is puzzled.

EJ
“What’s so funny?”

Aaron
“You…you don’t know the whole story.”

EJ
“I missed something?”

Aaron
“Yeah it’s about the baby.”

EJ freezes.

EJ
“What about the baby?”

Aaron
“She’s alive. Our Mia is still alive.”

Aaron says before he passes on.

EJ’s shocked at Aaron’s confession. He leans against the wall then slides down. He puts his hands in his head.

Wow. That was so dramatic. He told EJ with his last breath that Nicole is Mia's mother! I think a lot of people wanted to see that happened. I can't believe EJ murdered him like that.

THE DNA DOESN’T LIE

It’s Christmas Eve in Salem. It’s a very cold winter day. The forecast is calling for a huge snow storm this evening. EJ is sitting in the living room waiting of news of a DNA test. He flashes back to killing Aaron then having one of his guys look into proving whether or not Mia is Nicole’s biological daughter. He comes back when Nicole interrupts him.

Nicole
“Hey EJ.”

He turns around to see her.

Nicole
“You’re up early.”

EJ
“Well it’s Christmas Eve.”

Nicole walks over and sits next to him.

Nicole
“You’re supposed to wake up early on Christmas Day not Christmas Eve silly.”

EJ
“Oh well.”

They smile at another. The doorbell rings. Harold announces that he’ll answer it.

Nicole
“I wonder who that could be.”

EJ
“I don’t know.”

Harold answers the door. A man hands him an envelope and tells him it’s for EJ DiMera. Harold takes the envelope then the man walks away. Harold closes the door then heads to the living room to deliver the envelope to EJ.

Harold
“Sir, this came for you.”

Harold hands EJ the envelope then walks away.

Nicole
“What’s in the envelope?”

EJ sits silently.

Nicole
“Should I leave the room?”
EJ
“No, you should stay. This concerns you.”

Nicole stares confusedly at EJ. EJ opens up the envelope and pulls out the results. He reads them then looks at Nicole.

Nicole
“What is it?”

EJ
“It’s a DNA test.”

Nicole
“For who?”

EJ
“You and Mia.”

Nicole is surprised.

Nicole
“Me and Mia?”

EJ
“Yes, she’s your daughter.”

Nicole
“Mia? Mia McCormick?”

EJ
“Yes”

Nicole takes the results from EJ’s hands and looks them over.

Nicole
“How can this be? I don’t remember giving birth to her.”

EJ
“Sit down and I’ll explain.”

EJ explains to Nicole what he found out about her and Aaron. Nicole is shocked about the whole thing and begins to cry. EJ confronts her. Later that afternoon, EJ and Nicole head down to Grace’s grave site. Nicole places some on your grave.

Nicole
“I can’t believe that I have a teenage daughter. Who I conned to get her baby who is my granddaughter so I could switch her with Sydney. Gosh. I’m a horrible person.”

EJ
“No you’re not.”

Nicole
“Yes I am and starting today, I vow to be a better person. No more schemes. Just going to be the best person I can be and the best mother I can be.”

Nicole cries on EJ’s shoulders as Mia and Chad walk up behind them.

Mia
“Why are you all sad faced?”

Mia asks. EJ and Nicole look over at them.

EJ
“There’s something you guys need to know.”

Mia
“What?”

EJ
“Nicole is your mother.”

Mia chuckles.

Mia
“Yeah right.”

Nicole
“It’s true.”

EJ and Nicole explain everything to them. Afterwards, they all hug. Later than evening the snow is really coming down as Lucas and Sami are preparing for the Horton Family Christmas Tree party. They stop in the Square to get some hot chocolate. Lucas looks in his pockets for his phone.

Lucas
“I think I left my phone inside. I’ll be right back.”

Sami
“Ok.”

Lucas heads back inside. Sami’s then approached by Dr. Walters.

Walters
“Hello Sami Brady.”

Sami is startled.

Sami
“You scared me.”

Walters
“My bad?”
Sami
“Yeah right. What the hell do you want anyways?”

Walters
“I’m just making sure you’re keeping our little secret a secret.”

Sami
“Yes I am. Now go away before Lucas comes back.”

Lucas
“Too late.”

Sami freezes.

Walters
“Well I have to go. Bye.”

Lucas tries to stop Walters, but he’s too fast for Lucas.

Lucas
“What was he talking about?”

Lucas asks. Sami’s about to answer, but Lucas interrupts.

Lucas
“And don’t lie to me.”

Sami takes a deep breath.

Sami
“I can’t tell you or you’ll get hurt.”

Lucas
“Tell me.”

Sami
“Sydney is really Nicole’s daughter.”

Lucas
“Really? I have a feeling something was up, but I trusted you. I stupidly trusted you again.”

Lucas yell. Suddenly, Walters comes up from behind Lucas and knocks him in the head.

Sami
“What the hell?”

Sami kneels down to check on Lucas.

Walters
“I told you not to tell. Now it’s time for you to pay and then I’m going to take Sydney far far away from here.”
Sami stands up and gets into Walters’ face.

Sami
“You stay the hell away from her.”

Walters
“Make me.”

Walters says and he walks away. Sami kneels down again to try and wake up an unconscious Lucas.

Sami
“Lucas, Lucas. Wake up!”

She begs as she shakes him, but he remains unconscious. Will walks up.

Will
“Mom, what happened to dad?”

Sami looks up at him.

Sami
“He fainted.”

She stands up.

Sami
“Call 911.”

She shouts before rushing off.

Will
“Mom!”

He yells, but Sami ignores him. Chloe arrives at the DiMera mansion. Harold lets her in and takes her coat.

Harold
“Nicole is not back yet, but you’re welcome to wait for her. I put out some fresh snacks for you and your little one.”

Chloe rubs her better.

Chloe
“Why thank you Harold. So sweet.”

Harold smiles.

Harold
“Let me know if you need anything.”

Chloe
“Thank you.”

Chloe takes a seat on the couch then calls Joy.

Chloe
“Hey Joy.”

Joy
“Hey Chloe. How are you and my niece doing?”

Chloe
“We’re great. Just calling to tell you that I’m at the DiMera mansion…”

Chloe starts, but her phone starts beeping. She takes it off her ear and notices it’s dying.

Chloe
“Oh no. Shoot.”

Joy
“Hello? Hello? Chloe?”

Joy tries to call Chloe back. Chloe calls for Harold, but he doesn’t respond. So she gets up to try and find him and finds him on the ground in the foyer thanks to Dr. Walters. Chloe screams.

Walters
“Ah, Chloe Lane. Nice to see you again.”

Chloe
“What…what…”

Walters
“Happened? Why did I hurt poor old man? Well it’s simple. I want your baby.”

Chloe panics as she rubs her belly. Joy is frustrated that she’s not able to get a hold of Chloe. Mia is about to leave the Pub and notices.

Mia
“What’s wrong?”

Joy
“I can’t get a hold of Chloe. I feel that something’s wrong.”

Mia
“Where is she?”

Joy
“I think she said the DiMera mansion.”

Mia
“Well I’m heading over there now. I can give you a lift.”
Joy
“Really?”

Mia
“Yea, why not?”

Joy
“I always got the feeling that you don’t like me very much.”

Mia
“I don’t…well didn’t. Let’s go.”

Mia says as she heads for the door. Joy follows. Back at the mansion, stands at the mercy of Dr. Walters.

Chloe
“Why do you want my baby?”

Dr. Walters
“So that I can get money of course. I really wanted Nicole’s brat, but well she’s not here and I’m in a rush so yours will do. Let’s pop this baby out.”

Chloe slowly and nervously backs away from Dr. Walters. He slowly follows her with an evil smile on his face. Chloe backs into a wall. Dr. Walters walks up to her just as her water breaks. Dr. Walters look down then back up at her.

Dr. Walters
“Perfect timing.”

He lets out an evil laugh. On the road, Sami races through the snow to try and get to Sydney before Dr. Walters. Not too down the road Nicole’s on her cell talking with EJ who’s at the hospital.

Nicole
“Hey, almost home. Chloe’s going to meet me there.”

EJ
“Excellent. I’m about to talk with Phillip right now.”

Nicole
“Ok. Well I better get off the phone. It’s really coming down out here.”

EJ
“Drive safely sweetie. I love you.”

Nicole smiles through the phone.

Nicole
“I love you too. Bye.”

Nicole hangs up. She tosses her phone in the passenger seat. She looks up just as Sami is heading straight for her. They both swerve to miss each other and crash on the side of the road. They both are motionless. Sami comes to first. She tries to start her car, but it won’t start. She slowly gets out of her car. She quickly notices that she recognizes the car. She rushes over and finds Nicole unconscious. She tries to wake her up. Nicole slowly wakes up.

Nicole
“What the hell?”

She looks at Sami.

Nicole
“Do you not know how to drive?”

She yells.

Sami
“Well you seem normal.”

Nicole
“Move you idiot.”

Nicole says as she attempts to open her door, but she can’t. Sami offers to help.

Sami
“Let me help you.”

Nicole
“I can do it myself.”

Sami attempts to help Nicole. The door suddenly opens sending both ladies flying back.

Nicole
“I told you I had it.”

She yells.

Sami
“I helped.”

Sami yells back. They both slowly get to their feet.

Sami
“My car won’t start. Does yours?”

Nicole
“I don’t know, I’ll check.”

Nicole gets back into her car to try and start it, but hers won’t either.

Nicole
“Nope.”

Sami
“I can see that.”

Nicole gets out of her car.

Nicole
“Great, we’re stuck with no car.”

They look at each other and both say “Phones.” They get back in their cars to get the phones. Nicole finds hers. Sami can’t find hers. They get out of their cars then meet in the middle of the road.

Sami
“Can’t find mine.”

Nicole
“Found mine.”

Sami
“Can you call for help for me too?”

Nicole
“I’ll think about it.”

Nicole begins to shiver.

Nicole
“Ugh it’s so cold.”

Sami
“If you call for help. I’ll tell you where to find a cabin not too far from here.”

Nicole
“Deal.”

Nicole dials 911, but gets a busy message.

Nicole
“I guess because of the storm 911 is too busy. I’ll call EJ.”

Sami
“EJ? Don’t you know anyone else? Oh yeah I forgot you don’t have any friends.”

Nicole
“I do too. Chloe’s waiting for me and EJ’s with Phillip. They can come and help us.”

Sami
“Whatever.”

Sami huffs as Nicole dials EJ. EJ answers.

EJ
“Hello?”

Nicole
“Hey, we have a problem.”

EJ
“We? Are you and the baby alright?”

Nicole
“Yes I’m fine. The baby is fine. It’s Sami and I.”

EJ
“Why are you with Sami?”

Nicole
“She caused me to crash.”

Sami
“What?”

Nicole
“Can you and Phillip come and get us? We’re on the side of the street near the cabin on the east side.”

EJ
“I know what you’re talking about. We’ll be right there.”

EJ says before hanging up. Phillip walks up to him.

Phillip
“What happened?”

EJ
“Nicole and Sami got into an accident. They need our help.”

Phillip
“Sure why not.”

Before EJ and Phillip could leave, Lucas is wheeled into the ER and into an exam room with Will close behind. Phillip rushes up to him.

Phillip
“What happened?”

Will
“I don’t know. He was just lying on the ground. My mom shouted call 911 then ran off.”

Phillip
“What is she in such a hurry for?”

EJ
“Good question. I’m about to find out.”

EJ says before rushing out. Chloe collapses on the ground holding her tummy in pain.

Walters
“It’s a good thing I was here you know since I’m a doctor and everything.”

Chloe
“Get the hell away from me and my baby.”

Chloe shouts.

Walters
“But you’re going to need me to help you.”

Chloe
“I don’t need your help.”

Walters
“Oh but you will. I’ll wait.”

Walters laughs as Joy and Mia arrive.

Joy
“What the hell is going on?”

Joy yells. Walters and Chloe look over at them.

Walters
“I’m just here to help.”

Chloe
“No he’s not. He’s trying to take my baby.”

Joy
“What?”

Chloe
“He wants to sell my baby.”

Joy
“You want to do what with my niece?”

Joy asks with an attitude.

Walters
“She’s confused. It’s the hormones talking.”

Joy
“Well we’ll just see what the police have to say about this.”

Joy pulls out her phone to call 911. Walters pulls out a gun and points it at Joy and Mia.

Walters
“Put the phone down.”

Joy throws her phone on the ground.

Walters
“Let me see your phone too blonde.”

Mia pulls out her phone and tosses it on the ground.

Walters
“Good girls.”

Joy and Mia stare nervously at Walters pointing the gun at them. Chloe screams in pain distracting Walters. Mia grabs a vase and throws it at Walters hitting him in the head. He falls to the ground. Chloe screams in pain again. Joy rushes to her side. Mia walks over to check on Walters. He’s still breathing but is knocked out. She decided to kick him in the head for good measure.

Mia
“He’s not really good at this whatever he was trying to do here.”

She states.

Joy
“A little help over here.”

Joy suggests. Mia walks over to help Joy and Chloe. I think the baby is coming.

Mia
“Shouldn’t the baby daddy be here or something?”

Chloe
“Yes call Phillip.”

Joy rushes to get her phone and calls Phillip. Phillip’s talking with Will when he gets the call.

Phillip
“Hey Joy.”

Joy
“You need to get to the DiMera mansion right away.”

Phillip
“What’s wrong?”

Chloe screams.

Phillip
“What’s wrong with Chloe?”

Joy
“She’s having the baby.”

Phillip
“I’m on my way.”

Phillip hangs up.

Phillip
“Sorry Will. Chloe’s having the baby.”

Will
“It’s cool.”

Phillip
“Call me when you find out how Lucas is doing.”

Will
“Ok.”

Phillip takes off to the DiMera mansion.

Chloe
“I don’t think Phillip’s going to make it here in time.”

Joy
“Mia, help us.”

Mia
“Um…what am I supposed to do?”

Joy
“You’ve had a baby before. You know how this goes.”

Mia
“Yeah I was the one doing the pushing.”

Chloe screams get louder.

Joy
“Help please.”

Joy pleads. Sami and Nicole find a cabin to go into to get out of the storm. As soon as Sami closes the door they hear a huge crash.

Nicole
“Oh my gosh. What was that?”

They look out the window and notice that some snow has fallen from the roof is blocking the door.

Nicole
“Nice going Sami now we’re trapped.”

Sami
“It’s not my fault it’s snowing.”

Nicole
“Everything that is happening right now is your fault. I don’t have time for this or you. And I’m pretty sure we’re going to freeze to death.”

Sami
“I can start a fire.”

Nicole
“Please no. You’ve done more than enough today.”

Sami
“Fine then.”

Nicole
“Where you off to so fast anyways?”

Sami stand nervously.

Nicole
“Earth to Sami. Hello, answer my question.”

Sami
“I guess you should know.”

Nicole
“Know what?”

Sami
“That…that…”

Nicole
“Spit it out.”

Sami
“Sydney is your daughter.”

Nicole is astonished. Sami panics.

At the cabin, Nicole is trying to process that Sydney is her daughter.

Nicole
“What did you just say?”

Sami
“You heard me. Sydney is your daughter. Yours and EJ.”

Nicole
“Is this some kind of joke?”

Sami
“No it’s real. I have the DNA test to prove it.”

Nicole
“Oh really? So you’ve known for a while?”

Sami
“Yes, but I had to keep quiet or Dr. Walters was going to hurt Sydney and my kids. You have to believe me.”

Nicole
“Why? Because you said so? You do know you’re Sami Brady right? The lying manipulative bitch of Salem. And they say I’m a horrible person.”

Sami
“It’s the truth Nicole. I didn’t want to believe it at first when Dr. Baker told Lucas and me that my daughter died and that Sydney was yours. Lucas made me to the DNA test.”

Sami starts to cry.

Nicole
“So Lucas is in on this too.”

Sami
“Lucas didn’t know that Sydney was yours for sure. I kept the test from him.”

Nicole
“Wow, so you not only screwed EJ and I over, but Lucas to. Well I can see that for sure. You’ve always treated Lucas like dirt. And he just keeps on coming back like some lost puppy.”

Nicole walks away from Sami as she tries to calm herself down.

Nicole
“Of course, the day I decide to be a better person is the day that I find this out.”

She states getting louder. She turns around and walks back towards Sami.

Nicole
“I swear I could choke you right now.”

Nicole pauses to think.

Nicole
“You know what? I think I am going to choke you right now.”

Nicole grabs Sami on both sides of her neck and begins to choke her. Sami tries to fend her off, but with no luck. Nicole gets an abrupt cramp causing her to release her hands from around Sami’s throat. Sami coughs as she gasps for air. Nicole holds her belly as she leans against the couch. Sami clears her throat as Nicole’s cramp gets worse. Sami walks over to Nicole.

Sami
“Are you ok?”

Nicole
“Get away from me baby stealer.”

Sami
“I didn’t steal Sydney from you. I was screwed just as much as you were in this. My baby died.”

Nicole
“Whatever.”

Nicole’s water breaks.

Sami
“Uh oh.”

Nicole
“Yeah big uh oh.”

Sami
“Um…yeah.”

Nicole’s cramps get sharper. She screams. Across town, Chloe continues to scream in pain as her baby girl is ready to come into the world.

Mia
“I think you should like start pushing.”

Joy
“You think?”

Mia
“Yeah.”

Joy
“Don’t you need to check or something?”

Mia
“Sure. Open up Chloe.”

Mia says. Mia takes a look at Chloe then quickly comes back up with a shocked look on her face.

Chloe
“What’s wrong?”

Mia
“So that’s what a vajayjay looks like.”

Chloe and Joy chuckle.

Mia
“Oh yeah and I can see your baby’s head so you should like push.”

Joy takes Chloe’s hand as Chloe prepares to push. Mia gets into position to grab the baby.

Joy
“Alright it’s time to bring your baby into this world.”

Chloe
“I’m ready.”

Mia
“Alright push.”

Chloe lets out a loud scream as she pushes her baby girl out. Back at the cabin, Nicole lays on the ground in agony while Sami paces back and forth.

Sami
“What are we going to do? What are we going to do?”

Nicole
“You need to go get help.”

Sami
“I can’t. We’re snowed in remember and…and isn’t EJ on his way? Yeah. He is so you like keep the baby in till then.”

Nicole screams in pain.

Sami
“Or not. Okay.”

Sami gets on the floor next to Nicole.

Sami
“Looks like you’re going to have the baby here.”

Nicole
“No I’m not. Get away from me.”

Sami
“Nicole, your water broke. You’re about to have this baby and you can’t have it by yourself.”

Nicole
“Yes I can. Get away from me.”

Nicole tries to crawl away, but doesn’t get too far.

Sami
“Nicole, you need my help. So let me help you.”

Nicole
“Women deliver their own babies all the time.”

Sami
“But it makes no sense to do it by yourself when I’m here.”

Nicole
“It makes perfect sense.”

She says before letting out a loud cry.

Sami
“Your contractions are too close apart. Let me help you.’

Nicole lays on her back.

Nicole
“Fine, but you better not kidnap this one.”

Sami
“Don’t worry I won’t.”

Sami says she makes her way over to Nicole. She checks and sees that the baby is crowning.

Sami
“I can see the head. Time to push.”

Nicole
“Ok.”

Nicole lets out another loud cry as she pushes really hard. Just as Nicole pushes out her baby, Chloe does as well. Mia pulls Chloe’s baby up and wraps her in her hoodie then hands her to Chloe. Chloe cries and smiles as she holds her arms out. She holds her baby girl in her arms.

Chloe
“Hello there.”

Chloe says as she gazes as her newborn daughter. Sami hands Nicole her baby girl. Nicole gazes at her in amazement.

Nicole
“This moment is so special to me. After 2 kids, I finally get to be there from the beginning. My number 3.”

Sami
“Yeah.”

Sami stops to think.

Sami
“3?? This is your third child?”

Nicole
“Yeah, you’re not the only one who can have 3 kids.”

Sami
“Where’s your other kid?”

Nicole
“In Salem.”

Sami
“And that is?”

Nicole
“Oh yeah Mia.”

Sami
“Mia? Mia McCormick? My Will’s girlfriend Mia?”

Nicole
“Yeah.”

Nicole says with a smile as rocks her baby girl in her arms. EJ appears in the living room. Sami notices him and screams. Nicole is startled.

Nicole
“What?”

EJ
“Nicole.”

Nicole
“EJ.”

EJ rushes to Nicole and their daughter’s side.

EJ
“This is our little girl.”

Nicole
“Isn’t she beautiful?”

EJ
“Just like her mother.”

EJ and Nicole smile at one another. Sami watches.

Sami
“How did you get in here?”

EJ
“Through the back door.”

Sami
“Oh of course.”

Nicole
“You know what else I found out?”

EJ
“What’s that?”

Nicole
“We’re going to get Sydney back.”

EJ looks at Sami then back at Nicole.
EJ
“How?”

Nicole
“Because she’s not yours and Sami’s she’s ours.”

EJ
“What? Really?”

Sami
“It’s a long story. I’ll explain it later.”

EJ seems very confused yet happy at the same time. Back at the DiMera mansion, Phillip arrives with Shawn and Belle. Phillip rushes Chloe’s side.

Phillip
“I’m too late.”

Chloe
“You’re right on time. She just got here.”

Belle stands there trying not to cry.

Chloe
“Where did you guys come from?”

Phillip
“I saw them on the side of the room and decided to give them a lift.”

Belle
“Phillip told us you were having the baby. And there she is.”

Belle says with excitement.

Mia
“Well it’s good you’re here officer, you can arrest that man.”

Mia points to Dr. Walters. Everyone looks over at his unconscious body that begins to stir.

Joy
“He was trying to steal my niece.”

Phillip
“What?”

Mia
“He wanted to sell her baby on the black market or wherever they sell babies.”

Shawn walks over to arrest Dr. Walters. Nicole, Chloe and their babies are rushed to the hospital for care. Everyone at the hospital gush over the new baby girls. In Chloe’s room, Phillip walks in and kisses Chloe on the forehead.

Phillip
“So my dad got to see the baby.”

Chloe
“Aww.”

Phillip
“Yeah. He said he can’t believe a Kiriakis was born in the DiMera mansion.”

Chloe chuckles.

Phillip
“He wonders also what we are going to name her.”

Chloe
“Well I talked it over with Mia and Joy and I think we should name her after them. Amelia Joy.”

Phillip
“Amelia Joy Kiriakis. I love it. Just like I love her and you.”

Phillip goes into his pocket and pulls out a diamond ring with a silver band. Chloe is shocked. Phillip gets down on one knee to purpose.

Phillip
“I know this isn’t all that romantic, but I can’t wait any longer. Chloe Lane, will you marry me? Be my one and only for the rest of our lives. Raise our daughter together and Tyler and many others.”

Chloe begins to cry.

Chloe
“Yes!”

She says with glee. Phillip puts the ring on Chloe’s finger then jumps up and kisses her. In Nicole’s room. Nicole is sleeping when EJ walks in with Sydney. EJ walks up to her beside. Sydney taps her shoulder. Nicole wakes up and smiles.

Nicole
“Sydney.”

EJ
“Sami explained everything to me. How Dr. Baker sold Sydney to someone and then they brought her back right before you came in with Grace.”

Nicole
“And you believe her?”

EJ
“Not at first, I found Baker and he told all about it and even gave me proof. And I got another DNA test ran on Sydney and you and it’s a match.”

Nicole
“Wow, that’s wow.”

EJ
“Yeah, but it’s all over now. We have our family.”

Nicole
“Yes, very true.”

EJ gets on one knee.

Nicole
“What are you doing?”

EJ pulls a diamond ring with a silver band and holds it up for Nicole who is shocked and happy.

EJ
“I was going to ask this tonight, but whatever. I’m going to ask it now. Nicole Walker, please marry again. This time forever.”

Nicole
“Yes! Yes! Yes!”

Sydney claps as EJ puts the ring on Nicole’s finger. They kiss to seal the deal.

Nicole
“I’m so happy. I have you, Mia, Sydney, and now Brynn. All my dreams have come true.”

EJ
“Mine too.”

They smile at each other before kissing again.

MY HAPPY ENDING

Its spring time and wedding bells are ringing in Salem. On this day, there will be a joint wedding between EJ and Nicole as well as Phillip and Chloe. Most of the town was invited to attend. The weddings will be held at the large terrace in the newly built center in downtown Salem that was built in the memory of Grace called The Grace Center. Chloe and Nicole are busy getting ready with the help from Belle, Mia, Mimi, Joy, Claire, and Sydney while their guest arrive.

Aside from family, Melanie and Nathan are there as well as Stephanie and her new beau Officer Evan Parker. Melanie has forgiven Phillip and Chloe and they’re all friends now. Nathan proposed to Melanie on New Year’s Eve. The two will get married this summer and Stephanie will be Melanie’s maid of honor.

Nicole and EJ were alright with Lucas bringing Sami to the wedding. Nicole, EJ, and Sami have called a truce and all vow to be better people. Due to Sami’s lies and a new job opportunity, Rafe decided to leave Sami and Salem. Not wanting to be alone, Sami broke up Lucas and Alex so Sami’s better person vow was broken, but she didn’t do anything to Nicole or EJ so it doesn’t count, does it? Sami and Lucas ended up having angry hate sex and now Sami is 4 months pregnant with their 4th kid much to Kate’s dismay. Stefano told her to just let it go which is hard for Kate to do, but she has for now. “Sami can’t be pregnant forever” she says. Nicole and EJ also called a truce with Brady and Arianna. They were invited to the wedding, but are honeymooning in Hawaii after renewing their vows a few weeks ago.

Thanks to the vow between Nicole, EJ, and Sami, Mia and Will were about to stay together. They both are attending Salem University. Mia forgave Nicole for the baby switch and they’re on good terms. EJ apologized to Chad. Chad accepted and they’re working though everything. EJ adopted Mia. Mia and Chad changed their last names to DiMera. Because Chad is a DiMera, Rafe was against Gabi dating Chad anymore. Gabi refused to break up with him, but did so when she found that Chad kissed Joy than she was more than happy to dump him and leave with Rafe. Nancy and Craig weren’t too happy about Joy and Chad going out or Phillip and Chloe marrying, but decided to not interfere. Nancy secretly hopes Chad screws up though. And Phillip, well she feels that Phillip is a better man and he and Chloe deserve to be happy and raise their family together.

Mimi, Rex, Phillip, and Chloe work together to take care of Tyler. Tyler is happy to have 2 awesome dads. Mimi and Rex got married a few weeks ago. Jan repeated tried to interfere, but Belle punched Jan in the face. Shawn had to arrest Belle because Jan pressed charges, but once Phillip and Chloe found out that Jan was working with Dr. Walters, Jan agreed to drop the charges if they don’t tell anyone. Phillip and Chloe agreed. Speaking of Dr. Walters, he was charged with baby smuggling and selling, but never made it to prison. He hung himself in cell. Everyone thinks it was suicide, but Stefano and Victor know better. Victor was thankful for Chloe saving his life that he decided to be much nicer to her which is a shock to everyone.

Everyone is seated when Phillip and EJ walk out with their best men Shawn and Chad as well as their ring barriers Johnny and Tyler. Belle gives the thumbs up for the ceremony to start. The piano begins playing as Claire and Sydney walk down the aisle as flower girls is pretty in pretty red dresses tossing red and white rose petals. Belle, Mimi, Joy and Mia follow in red sleeveless dresses holding bouquets of red and white roses. Chloe and Nicole follow in long, sleeveless white dresses. Chloe’s in a short while Nicole’s is short in the front, but has a long train in the back. They meet the guys at the end of the aisle to start the ceremony. Marlena is officiating.

Marlena
“Hello everyone. It’s a beautiful day isn’t it?”

Everyone agrees.

Marlena
“We are gathered here to join in the union of Elvis DiMera and Nicole Walker as well as Phillip Kiriakis and Chloe Lane in holy matrimony. Two couples who’ve been through so much, but have worked through it all and are now here to finalize or what some would say seal the deal. “

Everyone chuckles.

Marlena
“If there is anyone who finds just cause why these four should not be united in whole matrimony, please speak now or forever hold your peace.”

Everyone turns their attention to Kate. Kate looks around.

Kate
“What? I don’t have anything to say.”

Everyone raises their eyebrows at her.

Kate
“Well you all know how I feel, but I don’t want to be that person.”

Belle whispers to Marlena

Belle
“Better continue before she changes her mind.”

Marlena
“Right.”

Marlena whispers back.

Marlena
“The couples have prepared their own vows. EJ will start.”

EJ takes Nicole’s hands.

EJ
“Nicole Walker, the most beautiful woman in the world. The love of my life. I never dreamed that I would find someone like you then I saw you walk into Chez Rouge. I was amazed by your beauty. I know I’m not the best person, but you make me want to be a better person. No matter what we do to each other and to others we still find a way to forgive one another. Thankfully, because I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have you in my life. We married once before, but this time I want it be forever.”

Stefano tears up while Kate rolls her eyes. Nicole smiles as tears roll down her face.

Marlena
“Nicole, it’s your turn.”

Nicole wipes tears from her eyes then holds EJ’s hands.

Nicole
“I feel the same way about you. I always dreamed of finding the man of my dreams who could love me for me. And have a family and I have that with you. You and our kids are everything to me.”

Nicole starts crying.

Nicole
“I think I’m done.”

Sami
“Thank God for waterproof mascara.”

Sami whispers to Lucas. He shakes his head.

Marlena
“Phillip, it’s your turn.”

Phillip takes Chloe hands.

Phillip
“I wasn’t nice to you the first time we met. And making the bet was stupid, but I’m glad I lost. The second I saw your eyes in the limo, I was amazed. Then I saw you in that red dress and I fell in love…and I never stopped. I screwed things up between us so many times. I let you slip through my fingers too many times. But never again. Today, I’ll ask you for your hand in marriage and I’ll never let go again.”

Kate
“If only.”

Kate says. Lucas shhs her.”

Marlena
“And finally, it’s Chloe’s turn.”

Chloe takes a deep breath.

Chloe
“You are my first love. I never thought about love before you. I was just an outsider looking in. I began to dream of what it would be like to marry you and start a family. And now, we did it a little backwards, but we’ve made it. That’s what counts and matters in the end.”

Kate
“Finally she’s done.”

Austin
“Mother stop it.”

Kate
“What?”

Kate says in amazement.

Marlena
“It’s now time for the rings.”

Tyler and Johnny step forward with the rings. They all exchange rings then Marlena ends the ceremony.

Marlena
“I now pronounce you all husbands and wives. You make now kiss the brides.”

Both couples kiss as everyone stands up and claps. The couples join hands and raises them in the air. Later on, everyone gathers for the reception. Everyone is dancing and having a good time when Belle grabs the mic.

Belle
“Attention everyone.”

Everyone focuses on her.

Belle
“Ladies and gentlemen please give it up for Mr. and Mrs. DiMera and Mr. and Mrs. Kiriakis.”

Everyone cheers and the brides and grooms enter the room with their baby girls at their sides. Brandon stands out of the crowd. Nicole hands Brynn to EJ before she rushes over to hug her brother.

Nicole
“Brandon, I’m so glad you made it.”

Brandon
“I wouldn’t miss this at all. Plus I love seeing my nieces.”

Nicole
“Thank you so much.”

Brandon
“You’re welcome sis.”

Mimi interrupts.

Mimi
“Attention!”

Everyone focuses on her.

Mimi
“One of the brides has an announcement.”

Mimi hands the mic to Chloe.

Chloe
“Phillip and I just wanted to let everyone know that we are pregnant.”

Belle jumps up and down with excitement. Everyone else claps. Kate is displeased.

Kate
“Oh goodness. Someone please shoot me.”

Lucas walks up to her.

Lucas
“No so loud, somebody might actually do it.”

He whispers to her.

Kate
“Go away.”

She says as she chugs her champagne then sits the glass on the table.

Kate
“There should be some harder drinks here.”

She says in disgust. Joy gets on the mic next.

Joy
“It’s now time for the couples’ first dance.”

Mia interrupts

Mia
“Hit the music.”

The DJ plays “Everytime I Close My Eyes” by Babyface and Mariah Carey as everyone finds a partner and begins to dance the night away.
