Melanie and Nathan arrive at their hotel room with their stuff in hand. Nathan turns on the light as they walk in.

Melanie
“Wow, this is nice. Maybe too nice?”

Nathan
“Nothing’s too nice for you.”

Nathan and Melanie drop their bags on the floor then kiss. Someone looks at them through the window.

Stephanie walks into the Salem PD and over to Bo.

Stephanie
“Hey Uncle Bo.”

Bo
“Stephanie, glad you came over.”

Stephanie
“What’s up?”

Bo
“We have a problem.”

Stephanie
“What’s wrong?”

Bo
“I found out that Eddie was married.”

Stephanie
“Married?”

“Yeah and his wife would like to meet you.”

Stephanie
“Why?”

Bo
“She wants to meet to woman that killed her husband.”

Stephanie
“I didn’t do it on purpose. She was trying to rape me.”

Bo
“I know. It was self-defense.”

Stephanie
“Does she know what her husband tried to do to me?”

Bo
“I tried to explain it to her, but she doesn’t seem to understand. She seems to think that her husband could never do something like that.”

Stephanie
“Well she’s stupid and I don’t want to meet her.”

Bo
“Ok I won’t force you, but she’s till in town and really wants to meet you.”

Stephanie
“Well I would like to have avoided her husband’s disgusting hands all over me, but we all can’t get what we want.”

Bo
“Yeah.”

Stephanie
“Well if that’s all you needed, I’ll be gone.”

Bo
“Yeah that’s all.”

Stephanie
“Well goodnight.”

Bo
“Goodnight.”

Stephanie turns and walks out of the Salem PD.Jamie finishes backing up her bags as Aaron returns.

Aaron
“Are you all packed?”

Jamie
“Yes I am.”

Aaron
“Good. The faster you get out of town the better.”

Jamie
“If only I got to meet that Stephanie Johnson bitch.”

Aaron
“Forget about her.”

Jamie
“It’s hard, she killed my husband.”

Aaron
“I’m sure Eddie deserved it. He was an asshole.”

Jamie
“Screw you.”

Aaron
“Honestly hurts. Now get you stuff in the car.”

Jamie
“Whatever.”

Jamie picks up her bags and walks out the door. Aaron checks to make sure he’s alone. He then pulls out his wallet and pulls out a picture of Misty Circles.

Aaron
“Oh Misty, I can’t believe I’ve found you. Now that I have, I’ll never let you get away again.”

Melanie and Nathan stop kissing and smile at one another.

Nathan
“There’s that smile I love to see.”

Melanie
“Well you bring it out of me.”

Nathan
“That’s because I’m awesome.”

Melanie giggles. They’re interrupted by a knock on the door. They turn to the door.

Melanie
“Are we expecting someone?”

Nathan
“I don’t know.”

Nathan opens the door and it’s room service.

Waiter
“Room service.”

Nathan
“Thank you, right over there please.”

The waiter pushes in the cart and parks it in the middle of the room. Nathan gives him a tip.

Nathan
“Thank you.”

Waiter
“My pleasure. Enjoy.”

Nathan
“We will.”

Melanie doesn’t even wait for the waiter to leave before she takes a peak at the food. Nathan closes the door and turns and sees her peaking.

Nathan
“Hey now. No peaking.”

Nathan walks over to her and puts the cover back on the food. Melanie giggles again.

Melanie
“But I’m hungry.”

Nathan
“I know. I know, but I wanted to open it.”

Melanie
“Well open it so we can eat. It’s getting cold.”

Nathan
“Wow, you’re so impatient.”

Melanie
“Aww, you know me so well.”

Nathan
“Ok I’m going to open it right now. 3…2…2 and a half…”

Melanie
“Open it. Open it or I’ll eat your hand.”

Nathan
“Ok, ok. Bon appetite!”

Nathan pulls the cover off of dinner and Melanie’s eyes light up.

Melanie
“Yay food.”

They laugh.Stephanie walks into Cheatin’ Heart. Adrienne’s at the bar.

Adrienne
“Hey honey.”

Stephanie
“Hey Aunt Adrienne.”

Adrienne
“How are you doing? I haven’t talked to you in a few days.”

Stephanie
“I know, I should have called you back and I didn’t. I’m sorry.”

Adrienne
“It’s fine. You know I’m here when you need me.”

Stephanie
“Thank you.”

Adrienne
“Can I get you anything?”

Stephanie
“A beer please.”

Adrienne
“Sure, on the house.”

Stephanie
“Thank you.”

Adrienne gets Stephanie a beer and opens it for her.

Adrienne
“So how’s everything going?”

Adrienne asks as Stephanie takes a sip of her beer.

Stephanie
“You mean since I killed Eddie?”

Adrienne
“It was self-defense.”

Stephanie
“I know, but still he’s dead because of me.”

Adrienne
“Well he had it coming.”

Stephanie
“I don’t want to talk about him.”

Adrienne
“Ok, we can talk about something else.”

Stephanie
“Like you and uncle Justin?”

Adrienne
“There is nothing between me and Justin.”

Stephanie
“There could be.”

Adrienne
“I think that ship has sailed.”

Stephanie
“I hope not. You two are great for each other.”

Adrienne
“Maybe once upon a time.”

Stephanie
“I think it could happen again.”

Adrienne
“We were supposed to be talking about you.”

Stephanie
“Well I don’t want to talk about me. I want you to be happy.”

Adrienne
“I want you to be happy to.”

Stephanie
“Seeing you happy would make me happy.”

Adrienne
“I would like for you to be happy too.”

Stephanie
“I could never be happy now that I lost Nathan.”

Adrienne
“Nathan isn’t the only guy in the world.”

Stephanie
“I know, but after Jeremey and Max and Phillip I thought I finally got one, but I was wrong of course. I should have known that it wouldn’t work out with him either.”

Stephanie takes a few more sips of her beer.

Adrienne
“I’m sorry baby.”

Stephanie
“Me too.”

Stephanie drinks more of her beer.Aaron continues to gaze at Misty’s picture till he hears Jamie coming back in. He quickly puts her picture away.

Jamie
“Alright all my junk is in the car.”

Aaron
“Good. Here are the keys. Everything you need is in the glove compartment. Passport, cash, etc.”

Jamie takes the keys from Aaron.

Jamie
“Great. The faster I get out of this town the better.”

Aaron
“I agree.”

Jamie
“Still wish I had the chance to meet that Stephanie Johnson bitch.”

Aaron
“Forget about her. Get going.”

Jamie rolls her eyes.

Jamie
“Fine. Tell your annoying brat of a daughter I said screw her.”

Aaron
“I’ll tell her you said bye.”

Jamie
“Thanks uncle Aaron.”

Aaron
“Anything for you.”

They hug then Aaron watches as Jamie heads out the door.

Aaron
“Now to find out where Misty is.”

Nathan and Melanie finish up their dinner.

Melanie
“I’m so stuffed.”

Nathan
“Me too.”

Melanie
“I don’t think I’ve ever eaten that much before.”

Nathan
“Me either.”

Melanie
“But it was great.”

Nathan
“Yeah it was.”

Melanie
“So what’s next?”

Nathan
“You want more food?”

Melanie shoves Nathan a little.

Melanie
“No silly, I mean what’s going to happen next on our little date.”

Nathan
“Well I was hoping that maybe you would want to watch some TV.”

Melanie
“TV? We renting a room to eat like pigs and watch TV?”

Nathan
“I’m just joking.”

Melanie
“Oh just joking huh?”

Nathan
“Yeah.”

They gaze at one another.

Melanie
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

Nathan
“I think so.”

They’re about to kiss, but Melanie stops it.

Melanie
“First, I would like to slip into something a little more fitting for the moment.”

Nathan
“Oh really?”

Melanie
“Yeah.”

Melanie gets up and grabs her bag then heads for the bathroom.

Nathan
“Make it snappy woman.”

Melanie giggles as she goes into the bathroom and closes the door. Nathan starts to yawn as he stands up and heads for the bed.

Nathan
“Why do I feel so tired?”

He wonders. Suddenly, he passes out on the bed. Melanie comes out of the bathroom.

Melanie
“Alright I’m ready.”

She says. She sees Nathan passed out on the bed.

Melanie
“Really? I wasn’t in there that long.”

Melanie walks over to Nathan and shakes him trying to wake him up.

Melanie
“Nathan, Nathan! Wake up!”

But Nathan doesn’t wake up. She turns him over and slaps him in the face.

Melanie
“Nathan, wake up!”

Nathan still won’t wake up.

Melanie
“I can’t believe this.”

Melanie says to herself as she begins to yawn herself.

Melanie
“Wow I feel really sleepy right now.”

She says before she passes out on the bed next to Nathan. Shortly after she passes out, someone walks into the hotel room and closes the door. They sneak over to the bed and stands over Nathan and Melanie.Back at the Cheatin’ Heart, Stephanie finishes up her beer as Adrienne comes back up to the counter.

Adrienne
“Want another?”

Stephanie
“Nope that’s all for the night. I think I’m going home to get some rest. It’s been a really long day.”

Adrienne
“Yeah it feels that way.”

Stephanie
“Thanks aunt Adrienne.”

Adrienne
“Anytime sweetie.”

Stephanie
“Night.”

Adrienne
“Night.”

Stephanie grabs her purse and heads for the door. She’s about to open it when Justin walks in.

Stephanie
“Uncle Justin, hey.”

Justin
“Hey Stephanie. How are you?”

Stephanie
“Tired. I’m about to head home.”

Stephanie says as Jamie walks past them.

Justin
“Well get home safely Stephanie.”

Stephanie
“I will.”
They hug. Jamie stops and turns around and stares.

Stephanie
“Night.”

Justin
“Night.”

Stephanie heads out the door as Justin heads to the counter. Jamie follows Stephanie out. Stephanie stands a little ways from the door looking in her purse for her keys as Jamie walks out.

Jamie
“Stephanie?”

She says. Stephanie pauses then turns around.

Stephanie
“Yes?”

Jamie walks closer.

Jamie
“Stephanie Johnson?”

Stephanie
“Can I help you?”

Jamie
“Yeah. You can tell me why you killed my husband.”

Stephanie seems confused. Inside, Justin sits at the bar while Adrienne’s back is too him.

Justin
“May I have a scotch please?”

He asks. Adrienne freezes then slowly turns around and looks at him.

Adrienne
“Justin, hey.”

Justin
“Hello Adrienne.”

Adrienne
“Oh yeah…um scotch coming right up.”

Justin
“Thanks.”

Adrienne gets Justin a glass and a bottle of scotch and pours Justin some.

Adrienne
“So how was your day?”

Justin
“Long.”

Adrienne
“Stephanie said the same thing.”

Justin
“Well it does feel like it’s been pretty long.”

Adrienne
“I agree.”

Justin takes a sip of his scotch.

Justin
“So, you’re about to close soon.”

Adrienne
“Yep.”

Justin
“Good. I would like to hang out with you and talk.”

Adrienne
“It’s kind of late for a talk.”

Justin
“Maybe you should spend the night then.”

Adrienne
“Spend the night?”

Justin
“Why not?”

Adrienne smiles. Justin smiles back.Outside, Jamie confronts Stephanie.

Stephanie
“Oh you’re Eddie’s wife. My Uncle Bo told me about you.”

Jamie
“Did he tell you that I wanted to speak with you?”

Stephanie
“Yeah, but I didn’t want to.”

Jamie
“Oh are you afraid to confront the wife of the man you murdered?
Stephanie
“No I didn’t. I didn’t want to waste my time.”

Jamie
“Too bad bitch. It’s time you answer for what you’ve done.”

Stephanie
“Do you even know the kind of man, if you could call him that, you married?”

Jamie
“Eddie was a good man.”

Stephanie laughs.

Jamie
“It’s true.”

Stephanie
“He was blackmailing my ex-boyfriend, covered up a hit and run of a pregnant woman, and let’s not leave out the fact that he was trying to rape me.”

Jamie
“Eddie would never done any of that. He loved me. He would never want to be with another woman especially someone like you.”

Stephanie
“Well he wanted me. He wanted me so damn bad he was going to do whatever he could possibly do to get it. Too bad it’s the last thing he ever did.”

Jamie lungs at Stephanie knocking her to the ground. She attempts to choke Stephanie, but Stephanie knocks her off. Stephanie tries to stand up, but Jamie pulls her back down. They roll around on the ground.

Stephanie
“Get off of me you crazy bitch.”

Stephanie yells.

Jamie
“Not until you pay for killing my Eddie.”

Stephanie punches Jamie then pushes her off of her. Stephanie stands up to get away, but Jamie gets up and knocks her back to the ground. Stephanie hits her head on the ground knocking her unconscious. Jamie hovers over Stephanie.

Jamie
“Stephanie?”

Jamie shakes her, but Stephanie doesn’t respond.

Jamie
“I killed her?”

Jamie stands up and brushes the dirt off of herself. Suddenly someone walks up behind her and starts choking her.Aaron closes his laptop then pulls out the picture of Misty Circles again.

Aaron
“So Misty, your real name is Nicole Walker. Well Misty…Nicole, that’s fine. I will find a way to deal with that name and I will do whatever it takes to get back with you.”

Aaron kisses the picture then places it on top of his laptop. He turns off his light and heads to bed.

It’s a new day in Salem. At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady is reading the paper and drinking coffee in the living room when Arianna walks in.

Arianna
“Good morning.”

Brady looks up from the paper to look at her. He smiles.

Brady
“Morning gorgeous.”

Arianna
“You’re up early.”

Arianna says as she walks over to the breakfast table to pour herself some tea.

Brady
“Yeah well I have a busy day ahead of me.”

Brady says before taking a sip of his coffee as Arianna takes a sip of her tea.

Arianna
“So what are you up to today?”

Brady
“Well I have a meeting with grandfather and then I’m going to meet up with Nicole.”

Arianna
“Nicole, really?”

Brady
“Yeah I ran into her yesterday before her doctor’s appointment, but I had to go to a meeting so I said I would meet up with her today to find out how it went.”

Arianna
“Oh well that sounds fun.”

Arianna takes another sip of her tea.

Brady
“I know you’re not happy that I’m spending time with Nicole.”

Arianna
“You’re right, I don’t like that you’re spending more time with Nicole. I mean you don’t even know that you’re the father, but you’re all interested in the baby.”

Brady
“You’re right. I will talk to Nicole about doing a DNA test.”

Arianna
“Good.”

Brady
“There is a good chance that I am the father Arianna.”

Arianna
“And we will deal with that when the time comes, but I would hate to see you get all attached to this baby and then find out that he or she is EJ’s. Not to mention Nicole is using this baby as a way to try and win you back.”

Brady
“I know, but it’s not going to happen.”

Arianna
“Whatever.”

Arianna finishes up her tea. Brady puts his paper down and walks over to her.

Brady
“It’s not going to happen. I’m committed to you and there’s nothing that Nicole can do about that. Okay?”

Arianna
“There better not be.”

Brady pulls Arianna into a kiss as Victor walks in. He looks at them then quickly turns away.

Victor
“Good thing I haven’t had breakfast yet or I would definitely be throwing it up right now.”

Brady and Arianna stop kissing and turn their attention to Victor.

Brady
“Morning grandfather.”

Arianna
“Morning Victor.”

Victor
“Of all the rooms in their house you two couldn’t find one to make out in?”

Brady
“Sorry grandfather.”

Victor
“Oh well at least it wasn’t Phillip and Chloe. I think that would be more disgusting. Though I haven’t figured out whether or not Arianna is worse than Chloe. Oh well. I still have time.”

Arianna
“Arianna is standing right here.”

Victor
“Unfortunately.”

Brady
“Grandfather.”

Victor
“What?”

Victor asks with a smile.

Arianna
“I’ll take that as my cue to leave.”

Victor
“Aww. Don’t leave on my account.”

Arianna turns to Brady.

Arianna
“See you later.”

Arianna gives Brady a kiss before leaving. Victor barely waits until he hears Arianna closes the door before he starts talking again.

Victor
“I don’t know what’s worse. The fact that you married that drug dealer or you could have possibly knocked out slut of an ex-wife of mine Nicole.”

Brady
“I believe you’ve said that before.”

Victor
“Well I’m still pondering.”

Brady
“Well while we’re on the subject of Nicole, I’m going to see her this morning.”

Victor
“And why’s that?”

Brady
“To discuss the baby.”

Victor
“Why? Are you indeed the father?”

Brady
“I’m not sure yet.”

Victor
“I think you need to find out if you’re the father or not. The baby is more than far enough along to do a DNA test.”

Brady
“I think so too.”

Victor
“So tell Nicole it’s time to run the damn test so you can be free of her.”

Brady
“But I could be the father.”

Victor
“Well I’m praying you’re not. The last thing you need to do is being attached to that slut. Arianna, you could easily divorce. Have a kid with Nicole and you’re doomed for life.”

Brady
“You were married to Nicole once. Do you remember that?”

Victor
“Thanks for reminding me. I’ve been trying to block that memory out of my mind.”

Brady
“Well you’re welcome.”

Victor
“So when are you’re going to meet with Nicole?”

Brady
“This morning.”

Victor
“This morning? Did you forget our meeting with Alex Santiago?”

Brady
“No I didn’t. I’ll be back in time for the meeting I’m promise.”

Victor
“You better.”

Brady
“Gonna talk to Nicole for maybe 10 minutes.”

Victor
“Well you better get going if you’re going to make it back in time.”

Brady
“I’m going right now.”

Brady heads for the door.At the DiMera mansion, EJ’s pouring himself some tea when Nicole comes downstairs. EJ watches as she walks up to the mirror and start checking herself out and fixing her hair.

EJ
“Morning darling.”

Nicole looks over at EJ.

EJ
“No need to get all dolled up for me.”

He smiles. Nicole giggles.

Nicole
“I’m not getting all dolled up for you. I’m going to see Brady.”

EJ
“Does he know you’re coming?”

Nicole
“Yes he does. We talked and agreed to meet for breakfast to talk about our baby.”

EJ
“Why is Brady interested in our baby?”

Nicole
“This is Brady’s baby. Come on get it together EJ.”

EJ
“I could be the father just as much if not more than Brady.”

Nicole
“And why is that?”

EJ
“I got your pregnant before why not again?”

Nicole gets upset and looks down. EJ realizes he screwed up.

EJ
“I’m sorry Nicole. I didn’t mean to bring up our daughter.”

Nicole looks up.

Nicole
“It’s fine. I think about our daughter all the time.”

EJ
“Me too. Now we’re going to have another one.”

Nicole
“Yeah…I mean…Brady and I am going to have a daughter.”

EJ
“Sure”

Nicole
“Speaking of Brady, I need to get moving or I’m going to be late to meet him.”

Nicole turns to leave.

EJ
“Have fun.”

Nicole
“I will.”

Nicole says before leaving. Stefano comes downstairs.

Stefano
“Where’s Nicole off to so early? Is there a sale?”

Stefano asks as he makes his way into the living to pour himself some tea. EJ turns and walks behind him.

EJ
“No, she’s meeting Brady.”

Stefano
“Or really? Brady’s stepping out on Arianna already?”

EJ
“No they’re going to discuss the baby.”

Stefano
“What? The baby is a DiMera is it not?”

EJ
“I believe so, but Nicole still believes that the baby is Brady’s.”

Stefano
“Well she’s wrong.”

EJ
“I know. She’ll realize it eventually.”

Stefano
“Yes, well we need to focus on our important meeting with Alex Santiago.”

EJ
“Yes we do.”

Stefano
“It’s important we gain as a client. Victor Kiriakis is after him.”

EJ
“Don’t worry Father; Santiago will be with DiMera enterprises.”

EJ and Stefano are interrupted by the doorbell.

Alfred
“I’ll get it Sir.”

Alfred opens the door and it’s Aaron/Alex.

Alfred
“Hello.”

Aaron/Alex
“Hi. I’m Alex Santiago. I’m here to see Stefano and Elvis DiMera.”

Alfred
“Oh yes. Come on in. They’re in the living room awaiting your arrival.”

Alfred steps aside so Aaron/Alex could come in then closes the door.

Alfred
“Right this way Sir.”

Alfred shows Aaron/Alex to the living room. Stefano and EJ watches as they walk into the room.

Stefano
“Thank you Alfred that will be all.”

Alfred exits.

EJ
“Mr. Santiago, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you. I’m EJ.”

Aaron/Alex and EJ shake hands.

Aaron/Alex
“The pleasure is all mines Mr. DiMera.”

Aaron turns to Stefano and shakes his hand.

Stefano
“Stefano DiMera.”

Aaron
“Thank you for meeting with me so soon. I just got into town late yesterday afternoon.”

Stefano
“Well we don’t like to waste time.”

Aaron/Alex
“That’s good to know. I don’t like my time wasted.”

EJ
“Well we don’t want to waste your time. Let’s get down to business.”

Aaron/Alex
“Sure, let’s do it.”

They’re then interrupted by Alfred.

Alfred
“Excuse me Sir.”

Stefano
“What is it Alfred?”

Alfred
“Mr. Chang is on the phone for you.”

Stefano grunts.

Stefano
“Excuse me Mr. Santiago, but Mr. Chang is one of my most important clients.”

Aaron/Alex
“Understandable.”

EJ
“I can handle things from here Father.”

Stefano
“Thank you Elvis.”

Stefano takes the phone from Alfred and steps out of the room.

EJ
“Ok now let’s get down to business.”

Aaron/Alex
“Alright. Well I’d like to offer DiMera Enterprises the best service you could ever dream of.”

EJ smiles with delight. At the Brady Pub, Nicole’s sitting at a table looking at the menu while waiting for Brady to arrive.

Nicole
“So what should we have for breakfast little one?”

Nicole looks down and rubs her belly.

Nicole
“You’re right. Anything, but Caroline’s clam chowder.”

Brady walks in as Nicole looks up. She smiles as he walks over to her.

Brady
“Hey.”

Nicole
“Hey.”

Brady sits down across from her.

Brady
“So how are you and the baby doing this morning?”

Nicole
“Amazing.How about you?”

Nicole says as she continues to smile.

Brady
“I’m doing well. A little hungry.”

Nicole
“Yes we are too.”

Brady
“What do you want?”

Nicole
“An omelet.”

Brady
“One omelet coming up.”

Brady gets up to go place their order, but Nicole stops him.

Nicole
“No I want pancakes.”

Brady
“Ok pancakes it is.”

Brady starts to walk away, but Nicole stops him again.

Nicole
“No wait, some scrambled eggs and bacon.”

Brady
“You know what? I’m just going to order all three.”

Nicole
“Aww. Thank you.”

Brady
“You’re welcome. Now can I place our order now?”

Nicole
“Yes.”

Brady
“Thank you.”

Brady heads to the counter as Nicole can’t stop smiling, but stops when Arianna walks in.

Nicole
“Arianna, hello.”

Arianna
“Hi Nicole. What brings you by The Pub?”

Nicole
“Food.”

Arianna
“There are a lot of places in Salem that serve food. Why don’t you go to one of those?”

Nicole
“Well I like the food here. Well except the clam chowder.”

Arianna rolls her eyes. Nicole smiles.

Nicole
“Plus your husband invited me here.”

Nicole says as Brady returns.

Brady
“Arianna, I didn’t know you were working now. I thought you had something else to do.”

Arianna
“I did, but someone asked me to switch shifts with them so here I am.”

Brady
“Ah. I’m sorry I should have picked another spot for our breakfast meeting.”

Nicole
“I don’t see a problem with it.”

Arianna

Brady
“You know what? We can leave.”

Nicole
“But you just ordered our food.”

Arianna
“It’s fine. Eat. Talk. I’m going to clock in and get to work.”

Nicole
“Have fun.”

Nicole says with a smirk as Arianna starts to walk away. She stops, turns around and kisses Brady. Nicole gets mad. Arianna turns and winks and smiles at Nicole before walking off. Nicole huffs. Brady sits down across from here again.

Nicole
“Well it’s so nice to see Arianna again.”

Brady
“That’s you being sarcastic I assume.”

Nicole
“Why did you marry her anyways? You could do so much better.”

Brady
“Like you?”

Nicole
“Now you’re getting it.”

Brady laughs.Back at the DiMera mansion, EJ and Aaron/Alex are discussing their business arrangement. EJ’s looking over Aaron/Alex’s proposal.

EJ
“I like what I see here.”

EJ says as he closes up the folder and places it on the table.

Aaron/Alex
“Thank you sir.”

EJ stands up and walks over to pour himself a drink.

EJ
“Would you like a drink?”

He offers Aaron/Alex.

Aaron/Alex
“Sure, why now.”

Aaron/Alex looks over at the pictures that are on the mantel as EJ pours their drinks. He notices the one of EJ and Nicole on their wedding day.He picks it up for a closer look as EJ walks over with their drinks.

EJ
“Here you go.”

EJ said as he hands Aaron/Alex his glass. Aaron/Alex puts down the picture and takes the glass from EJ.

Aaron/Alex
“You have a beautiful wife.”

EJ
“She’s not my wife anymore.”

Aaron/Alex
“Oh. I’m sorry.”

EJ
“It’s fine. Things happened that tore us apart.”

Aaron/Alex
“You two look pretty happy. Do you think that it could work out?”

EJ
“Actually yes I do think we could work things out.”

Aaron/Alex
“That’s awesome.”

EJ
“Yeah it is. Nicole is a great woman and I love her very much.”

EJ pauses.

EJ
“I haven’t admitted that I love Nicole.”

Aaron/Alex
“She doesn’t know?”

EJ
“No. No she doesn’t. She’s interested in another guy, but I want her back so I will do whatever it takes.”

EJ takes a sip of his drink.

Aaron/Alex
“That’s awesome. Good luck to you man.”

EJ
“Thank you.”

EJ says. Stefano walks back in.

Stefano
“Sorry about the interference.”

Aaron/Alex
“It’s all good Mr. DiMera.”

Stefano
“So what did I miss?”

EJ
“Everything.”

Aaron/Alex
“Yeah I gotta get going. I have another meeting I have to attend, but I left my portfolio for you to look over.”

EJ
“It’s amazing father.”

Stefano
“I will have to read it over.”

Aaron/Alex
“I’ll give you guys a call later on in the day then.”

Stefano
“Sounds great.”

Aaron/Alex
“Alright, good day gentlemen.”

Aaron/Alex says before exiting. Stefano waits till he leaves before he talks to EJ.

Stefano
“So everything’s good?”

EJ
“Yes. There’s no way that Mr. Santiago will be doing business with Victor Kiriakis.”

Outside, Aaron pulls out the picture of Nicole and talks to it.

Aaron
“So EJ DiMera thinks he can get you back? Not going to happen.”

Aaron puts the picture back in his jacket.

Aaron
“Sorry Elvis.”

He says before walking off. Back at The Brady Pub, Brady and Nicole eat breakfast and talk about the baby.

Nicole
“This is so good.”

Nicole says with a mouth full of food.
Brady
“I can tell.”

Brady notices as he takes a sip of coffee.

Nicole
“Sorry, just hungry. You know eating for two.”

Brady
“Yeah speaking of which, did you find out the sex?”

Nicole wipes her mouth with a napkin.

Nicole
“Yes I did.”

Brady
“And?”

Nicole
“We’re having a girl.”

Nicole smiles as Brady smiles at the news. Arianna looks over at them from the bar.

Brady
“Wow, a girl.”

Nicole
“Yeah I have a picture if you want to see.”

Brady
“Sure.”

Nicole pulls out the sonogram of her purse and hands it to Brady.

Nicole
“You can keep that one. I have copies.”

Brady smiles as he looks at sonogram. Arianna looks over sad.

Brady
“This is…”

Nicole
“…amazing?”

Brady
“Yes. Amazing.”

Nicole
“Our daughter is in great health. She’s our little miracle baby.”

Brady
“We don’t even know if I’m the father.”

Nicole
“I know you’re the father.”

Brady
“We can’t go on your feeling. EJ is going to want proof and so will Victor.”

Nicole
“What about you?”

Brady
“Yeah I want the proof also.”

Nicole
“Ok, we can do that. I’ll talk with EJ.”

Brady
“Ok good. Well I’m going to pay the check then I need to head back home for a meeting.”

Nicole
“Ok.”

Brady gets up and kisses Nicole on the forehead before heading to the counter to pay. Nicole’s phone rings. She pulls it out and looks at the id. It’s Chloe. She answers.

Nicole
“Hey Chloe. Sure we can meet up later. Ok bye.”

Nicole stands up to leave, but turns around to talk to and runs into Arianna.

Nicole
“Sorry, where’s Brady?”

Arianna
“He left already.”

Nicole
“Oh well I’ll call him later then.”

Arianna
“Not unless you’re planning on getting a DNA test.”

Nicole
“Not that it’s any of your business, but we talked about that.”

Arianna
“It is my business. Brady is my husband.”

Nicole
“No duh.”

Arianna
“You don’t seem to understand that.”

Nicole
“I understand it perfectly.”

Arianna
“No you don’t. You want Brady for yourself and you’re using this baby to do it.”

Arianna says as she pokes Nicole’s belly.

Nicole
“Hey, don’t poke my baby.”

Arianna
“You’re unbelievable. You have no shame in what you’re doing.”

Nicole
“I haven’t even done anything.”

Arianna
“Oh really? I saw how you’re working Brady.”

Nicole
“Whatever you say Arianna, I’m going home.”

Nicole walks out on Arianna.

Arianna
“Bitch.”

Arianna says as she crosses her arms. At the Kiriakis mansion, Aaron/Alex rings the doorbell. Henderson answers.

Henderson
“Good morning, how may I help you?”

Aaron/Alex
“I’m here to meet with Victor Kiriakis. My name is Alex Santiago.”

Henderson
“Oh yes. Mr. Santiago, Mr. Kiriakis is expecting you.”

Henderson lets Aaron/Alex into the house and closes the door. He then leads them to the living room where Victor is waiting for him.

Henderson
“Mr. Kiriakis, Mr. Santiago is here to see you.”

Victor
“Ah yes Mr. Santiago, nice to meet you.”

They shake hands.

Aaron/Alex
“Nice to meet you as well Mr. Kiriakis, but call me Alex.”

Victor
“Well call me Victor.”

Aaron/Alex
“Ok Victor.”

Victor
“Great. Now let’s get started.”

Victor as Brady walks into.

Brady
“Sorry I’m late.”

Brady says. Victor and Aaron/Alex look over at him.

Victor
“You’re right on time.”

Aaron/Alex
“Ah, you must be Brady Kiriakis.”

Aaron/Alex holds his hand out for Brady to shake. Brady stares at him then shakes his hand.

Brady
“Brady Black actually and I believe we’ve met already.”

Aaron/Alex
“Oh yeah outside of that coffee shop.”

Brady
“Java Café.”

Aaron/Alex
“Oh yes Java Café. Nice place.”

Brady
“Yeah it is. Maybe you should go back there like now.”

Aaron/Alex
“You guys want to meet there?”

Brady
“I think you should go there by yourself and never come back here. Titan doesn’t need your business.”

Aaron/Alex
“Oh”

Victor
“Brady, could I speak to you in the foyer for a moment?”

Brady
“Sure.”

Brady and Victor head to the foyer. Victor closes the doors behind them.

Victor
“What the hell Brady?”

Brady
“That man is not worth it.”

Victor
“What the hell happened at Java?”

Brady
“He called Nicole Misty.”

Victor
“This is about Nicole? Maybe he’s just a fan of her work.”

Brady
“I have a bad feeling about him.”

Victor
“Well take your bad feeling somewhere else. Doing business with Santiago will be a huge gain for Titan. I’m not going to lose out of this just because of Nicole.”

Brady
“Well I don’t want to have any part of it.”

Victor
“Fine then. You can find somewhere else to work.”

Brady’s shocked.

Victor
“No if you excuse me, I have some business to take care of.”

Brady
“Grandfather”

Brady says, but Victor ignores him and walks back in the living room. Brady stares at the door for a moment before leaving the mansion. Back inside the living room, Victor approaches Aaron/Alex who’s just getting off the phone.

Victor
“Sorry about that.”

Aaron/Alex
“It’s fine. Where did Brady go?”

Victor
“Out, he won’t be joining us.”

Aaron/Alex
“Oh. I guess I made a bad first impression.”

Victor
“He’ll be fine. Let’s get back to business.”

Aaron/Alex
“I wish I could, but I have an emergency at the office that I need to take care of. So I can leave my portfolio here for you and call you later and set up another meeting.”

Victor
“Ok that’s fine.”

Aaron/Alex hands Victor the portfolio.

Aaron/Alex
“You have a great day.”

Aaron/Alex leaves the mansion. Victor looks at the portfolio in his hands.

Victor
“Damn it Brady, you better not have messed this up for me.”

At the DiMera mansion, Stefano looks over Santiago’s proposal.

Stefano
“I love it.”

He says has he takes a sip of his drink.

EJ
“This is going to change DiMera Enterprises forever.”

Stefano
“Yes indeed.”

EJ and Stefano take sips of their drinks at the same time.

Stefano
“So what were you and Alex Santiago talking about?”

EJ
“The business.”

Stefano
“I sense there was more than business talk going on.”

EJ
“You’re right. We were discussing Nicole.”

Stefano
“Why’s that?”

EJ
“He saw the photo of mines and Nicole’s wedding. He thought we were still married and I told him we weren’t.”

Stefano
“What? Does he want Nicole or something?”

EJ
“No, he wondered if we could work things out and I believe we could. I also admitted that I love Nicole and I want her back. I’ll do anything to get her back.”

Stefano
“Well it would suck, as the kids say these days, if Nicole found out you know about Brady and Arianna’s wedding. I’m sure she wouldn’t like that you made her look like a fool in front of Arianna Hernandez.”

Stefano laughs as Nicole enters the room.

Nicole
“Oh really.”

EJ and Stefano look over at her. Stefano stops laughing and EJ looks nervous.

EJ
“Nicole, you’re home.”

Nicole
“Yeah and just in time don’t you think?”

Stefano looks at EJ then back at Nicole as they stare at one another.

Stefano
“I think that’s my cue to leave.”

Stefano heads for the door.

EJ
“I’m sorry you found out this way. I should have told you.”

Nicole
“Yeah you should have before I went over and made a fool of myself in front of Arianna.”

EJ
“What does it matter?”

Nicole
“It matters to me.”

Nicole stops and thinks for a moment.

Nicole
“You don’t even want to help me get Brady back, do you?”

EJ takes a deep breath.

EJ
“No I don’t.”

Nicole
“You bastard.”

EJ
“Yeah just call me names.”

Nicole
“You deserve that and more. I did everything you asked me to do to keep you out of prison and out of trouble with your precious Samantha and this is the thanks that I get? You just used me. Though I shouldn’t be surprised you are a DiMera after all.”

EJ
“I don’t care about Samantha. I care about you.”

Nicole
“Me? Oh really? I’m just your second choice. If Samantha didn’t choose Rafe over you and I wasn’t pregnant, then you wouldn’t want to have anything to do with me.”

EJ
“That’s not true.”

Nicole
“Oh really and why is that?”

EJ
“Because I love you.”

Nicole’s shocked.

EJ
“I love you Nicole Walker. I would do anything to make things work out for us.”
Nicole
“I don’t know what to say.”

EJ
“Say that you’ll give up on Brady. Give me another chance, please? I beg of you.”

Nicole
“Why should I give you another chance when you used and lied to me?”

EJ
“Because you kidnapped Sydney.”

Nicole quickly slaps him then starts to cry lightly. She stares at EJ as she wipes tears from her eyes. She then leaves the mansion. EJ watches her leave as he rubs his left cheek. At University Hospital, a man enters Vivian’s hospital room as she lays motionless in her coma. He walks in and closes the door. He walks to her bedside and touches her hand. He then sits down next to her bed.

Man
“I’m so sorry this happened to you. I came as soon as I could. I know you’ve been looking for me, but I was afraid of you finding me. I’m in danger and so is my daughter. I need to find her. Please, wake up. I need your help. You’re the only one that can help me.”

Suddenly, the door opens. The man looks over to see who it is. It’s Carly.

Carly
“Oh my. Nicholas!”

She says in amazement.

At University Hospital, Carly comes face to face with her son Nicholas.

“Nicholas, I didn’t expect to see you here.”

“How is that not fair? She poisoned and left for dead. She needs someone by her side to will her out of her coma. Dad’s not around anymore thanks to you. It’s a good thing that she still has me.”

Carly
“Vivian has done a lot of bad things.”

Nicholas
“And so have you, but people still stand by you. What is so different about Aunt Vivian?”

Carly
“Do you know what she’s capable of? She tried to kill your sister.”

Nicholas
“I don’t have a sister.”

Carly
“Yes you do. Melanie Layton is your sister. Vivian tried to kill her to get to me. Then when that didn’t work, she tried to convince Melanie’s father’s fiancée that he was cheating on her with me.”

Nicholas
“Like that would have been a stretch?”

Carly
“It wasn’t true. All that did was cause trouble and now there she is, in her coma. I’m sorry that happened to her, but I mean what do you expect?”

Nicholas
“I’m going to find out who did this to her as well as other things.”

Carly
“What other things?”

Nicholas
“They are not of your concern.”

Nicholas says before walking away. Carly calls after him.

Carly
“Nicholas! Nicholas!”

But he doesn’t care; he just walks on to the elevator. Carly gives up. She turns around and Nick is standing there. Carly is startled.

Carly
“Nick, you scared me.”

Nick
“You called?”

Carly
“No, no I was talking about my son.”

Nick
“Oh. I didn’t know he was in town.”
Carly
“Me either until I saw him leaving Vivian’s room.”

Nick
“Oh how nice.”

Carly
“Yeah. Well I have rounds.”

Nick
“Of course, have a good one.”

Nick watches as Carly walks away. He gets a text message from an unknown number that reads “It’s done”. Nick smirks. At Stephanie’s apartment, Stephanie lies on her bed flashing back to her fight with Jamie. The last thing she remembers is falling down and hitting her head. She suddenly sits straight up.

Stephanie
“Ouch.”

She says as she rubs her head. She looks around.

Stephanie
“What happened last night? I don’t remember getting home.”

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath then checks the time. She notices that she’s late for work.

Stephanie
“Oh no! I’m late.”

She jumps out of bed and heads for the shower. Across town at the Salem Inn, Nathan is passed out in bed. He stirs a little before he slowly opens his eyes. His vision is blurry.

Nathan
“It’s morning?”

He asks confusedly. He nudges Melanie to wake up.

Nathan
“Melanie, wake up.”

He keeps nudging, but she’s not budging. He looks over and notices something’s wrong.

Nathan
“Melanie?”

He turns her over and he realizes it’s not Melanie, but a dead Jamie! He screams then falls to the floor. He backs up far away from her body.

Nathan
“What the hell?”

He asks himself. Stephanie rushes off the elevator and drops her bag. She bends down to pick it up as Lexie’s walks up.

Lexie
“Stephanie, are you ok?”

Stephanie
“Yes, yes I’m fine. I’m sorry that I’m late.”

Stephanie says as she walks up to the nurse’s station. Lexie follows.

Lexie
“It’s fine. I’m just glad that you’re ok.”

Stephanie
“Why wouldn’t I be?”

Lexie
“I don’t know.”

Lexie says confusedly.

Stephanie
“Well I am. I’m going to get to work now.”

Lexie
“Ok Stephanie.”

Stephanie heads to her office. Nick watches her from around the corner. Bo arrives at the Salem Inn. Nathan sits in shock as he watches the CSI unit scan the scene. Bo walks up to Nathan.

Bo
“Hey Nathan, what happened?”

Nathan
“That’s not Melanie.”

Bo looks at Jamie’s body then back at Nathan.

Bo
“Yeah that’s Jamie McCormick. Do you know how she got into your room?”

Nathan
“No. I don’t even know who she is. I got this room for Melanie and me last night.”

Bo
“Where’s Melanie now?”

Nathan
“I don’t know.”

Bo
“What’s the last thing you remembered?”

Nathan
“We ate dinner.”

Bo sees the room service cart. He motions for someone to check it out.

Bo
“Ok what happened after that?”

Nathan
“I felt sleepy so I lied on the bed. The next thing I knew, I was waking up next to, whoever she is.”

Bo
“Jamie McCormick. She is…was Eddie Saunders’ wife.”

Nathan is stunned.

Nathan
“I didn’t know Eddie was married.”

Bo
“Me either until she showed up in my office not too long after his death.”

Nathan
“I have no idea why she would be in my room and where the hell is Melanie.”

Melanie is chained to a wall in a basement. She suddenly comes to. Her vision is blurry.

Melanie
“Where am I?”

She mumbles to herself. Carly’s at the nurse’s station with her back to the elevator as Bo and Nathan walk off. Bo notices her and walks over to her.

Bo
“Carly.”

Carly turns around. She sees Nathan in a confused state.

Carly
“What happened, Nathan?”

Nathan
“Melanie’s gone.”

Carly freaks out.

Carly
“What do you mean she’s gone?”

Carly yells. Stephanie watches from around the corner. Lexie rushes up.

Carly
“What happened to my daughter?”

Nathan
“I don’t know.”

Lexie
“Nathan, let me take you to an exam room.”

Carly
“No he needs to tell me what happened to my daughter.”
Bo
“I will answer any questions. Nathan needs medical attention.”

Lexie leads Nathan to an exam room.

Carly
“What happened to Melanie?”

Bo
“We’re not sure.”

Carly
“What do you mean?”

Bo
“Nathan called it in. He and Melanie were eating dinner last night then they passed out. Nathan woke up and Melanie was gone.”

Carly
“Oh my goodness.”

Carly says as she begins to cry.

Bo
“There’s something else.”

Carly
“What?”

Bo
“There was a dead body in the room.”

Carly
“Who?”

Bo
“Jamie McCormick.”

Stephanie’s shocked.

Carly
“That Eddie Saunders guy’s wife, right?”

Bo
“Yes.”

Stephanie flashes back to her fight last night with Jamie. She remembers rolling around with her then hitting her head. She comes back.

Carly
“How did she get in the room?”

Bo
“Not sure. Nathan never met her.”

Carly
“That is so…so weird.”

Bo
“I agree.”

Carly
“Any leads?”

Bo
“Nothing yet, but I’m not going to stop until I find Melanie. Ok?”

Carly shakes her head yes then falls into his arms and cries on his shoulder. Stephanie steps back and bumps into someone. She quickly turns around and it’s Nick.

Stephanie
“I’m sorry Nick.”

Nick
“It’s fine. What’s going on with Carly and Bo?”

Stephanie
“Melanie’s missing.”

Nick
“No she’s not, I know where she is.”

Stephanie’s curious. Nicholas arrives at the Kiriakis mansion. He knocks on the door. Henderson answers the door.

Henderson
“Hello, how may I help you?”

Nicholas
“I’m looking for Victor Kiriakis.”

Henderson
“I’m sorry, but he stepped out for the moment. Would you like to leave him a message?”

Nicholas
“No that’s fine. I’ll find him myself.”

Henderson
“Very well then.”

Henderson closes the door as Nicholas turns to walk away. Back at the hospital, Stephanie waits for Nick to say where Melanie is.

Stephanie
“Where’s Melanie?”

Nick
“She’s with Nathan. They went on some romantic retreat.”

Stephanie
“Oh I thought you actually had a lead or something.”

Stephanie glazes at Bo and Carly until Nick gets her attention again.

Nick
“That’s what they told Aunt Maggie.”

Stephanie
“Well apparently they got separated somehow.”

Nick
“How so?”

Stephanie
“I don’t know. Lexie’s checking Nathan out right now.”

Nick
“Oh wow. That’s crazy. I was just talking to them yesterday morning and now this happens.”

Stephanie
“Yeah it’s weird.”

Nick
“Well I’m going to call Maggie and let her know what’s going on.”

Nick pulls out his phone as he walks away. Stephanie tries to process everything. Bo and Carly sit down in the waiting room. Bo hugs Carly close. They’re interrupted by Bo’s phone ringing.

Bo
“Excuse me.”

He says as he reaches for his phone. He answers.

Bo
“Hello? Yes. What? Ok thanks.”

He says as he hangs up the phone.

Carly
“What is it? Is it about Melanie?”

Bo
“No it’s about Jamie. Her car was found at Cheatin’ Heart. Apparently she was about to skip town.”

Carly
“Why?”

Bo
“No clue, but will find out why. It could be the key to finding Melanie.”

Bo wipes away the tears from Carly’s eyes. Bo’s phone goes off again. He pulls it out.

Bo
“Hello? Yes. Thanks for letting me know.”

Bo hands up.

Carly
“What now?”

Bo
“They recovered Melanie’s phone in the woods near the Salem Inn. They found it ringing.”

Carly
“Do they know who called her?”

Bo
“Yeah, Max.”

Carly
“Oh no. Max has to know about Melanie.”

Bo
“I’m going to call him.”

Bo starts to dial his number when Lexie walks up.

Carly
“Any news on what’s wrong with Nathan?”

Lexie
“Yes, he was given a sedative. Probably through something he ate or drank. I didn’t see any injection marks.”

Bo
“That’s good. We’re going to have that tested.”

Lexie
“He’s resting now.”

Carly
“Could I go in and talk to him?”

Lexie
“He’s still out of it a little, but you can.”

Carly
“Ok thanks.”

Bo
“I’m going to call Max and check in with the station.”

Carly
“Ok.”

Carly says before she walks to Nathan’s room.

Lexie
“So any idea where Melanie is?”

Bo
“No clue other than finding her cell in the woods by the Salem Inn.”

Lexie
“I hope she’s alright. Carly just found her. I would hate for anything to happen to her.”

Bo
“Same. I’m not going to rest until Melanie is found.”

Lexie
“Oh yes. I should get in contact with Daniel. He should be coming in soon.”

Bo
“Oh yes do that.”

Lexie
“Ok.”

Lexie says before walking away. Bo pulls out his phone and calls Max. He doesn’t answer so Bo leaves a message.

Bo
“Hey Max, its Bo. Um…call me as soon as you get this message.”

Bo says before hanging up. Nicholas arrives at the Brady Pub he looks through the window before walking in. He stands by the door and surveys the room. He notices Aaron sitting at a booth. Nicholas quickly turns away and sits on the opposite side of the Pub so that he doesn’t see him.

Nicholas
“That’s him.”

He says to himself. Arianna approaches him.

Arianna
“Hello, welcome to the Brady Pub. I’m Arianna. May I get you something?”

Nicholas
“A coffee please.”

He says.

Arianna
“Sure, coming right up.”

Arianna walks away to get Nicholas some coffee. Nicholas stares continues to stare as Aaron who gets a phone call. He answers.

Aaron
“Hello? What? I’m on my way.”

Aaron hangs up his phone then rushes out of the Pub. Nicholas gets up to leave, but then he sees Nicole walk in on her phone. He sits down and watches her.

Nicole
“Hey Chloe. I’m at the Pub early so you should get here early too. You have some stuff to tell you girl. Love ya, bye.”

Nicole hangs up her phone and takes a seat near Nicholas. Arianna walks up and hands him his coffee.

Arianna
“Here you go sir.”

Nicholas
“Thank you.”

He smiles at Arianna and takes a sip of his coffee. She looks over at Nicole then back at Nicholas.

Arianna
“Oh you don’t want to go anywhere near that one.”

Nicholas
“Why not?”

Arianna
“She’s nothing but trouble. Trust me, you’re better off alone.”

Nicholas
“Oh. What’s her name?”

Arianna
“Nicole Walker.”

Nicholas
“Nicole? That’s a beautiful name.”

Arianna
“Yeah sure. Umm…Did you want anything to eat?”

Nicholas
“No thank you.”

Arianna
“Ok. Just let me know if you change your mind.”

Nicholas
“I will thanks.”

Arianna walks away and Nicholas refocuses his attention on Nicole who is looking at a menu.

Nicholas
“Nicole.”

He says with a smile. Carly enters Nathan’s room. She walks up slowly to his bed as he lies asleep. She takes a seat next to his bed as Nathan slowly opens his eyes.

Nathan
“Melanie.”

He whispers. Carly touches his hand. He looks over at her.

Nathan
“Carly? Where’s Melanie?”
Carly
“Bo’s working on finding her.”

Nathan
“He needs to hurry up. I need her.”

Carly
“I need her too.”

Carly says trying to fight back her tears.

Nathan
“We ate dinner then I don’t remember what happened after that. I felt really sleepy.”

Carly
“Lexie said you were given a sedative.”

Nathan
“Someone did this to me to get to Melanie and they will pay for this.”

Carly
“You’re damn right.”

Lexie and Bo are talking when Daniel show up. They look over at him. He looks back at them. He notices they’re upset. He walks over to them.

Daniel
“Why the long faces?”

He asks. Lexie and Bo look at one other.

Daniel
“Is somebody going to answer my question?”

Bo
“Yeah. I don’t know how to say this…”

Bo starts. Daniel interrupts.

Daniel
“Then just say it.”

Bo
“Melanie is missing.”

Daniel
“What do you mean missing?”

Bo
“We believe she was drugged and kidnapped overnight.”

Daniel
“You believe? That’s all you can do is believe? What about Nathan? Where’s he?”

Bo
“He’s in a room.”

Daniel
“A room? Which room?”

Lexie
“He was drugged. He was given a sedative.”

Daniel
“So you can find Nathan, but not Melanie? Of course.”

Daniel walks around in circles for a moment.

Daniel
“I need to go pay him a visit.”

Bo
“Maybe you should calm down first.”

Bo suggests as he tries to stop Daniel from walking away.

Daniel
“Don’t tell me to calm down.”

Bo
“You can’t go busting in on Nathan.”

Daniel
“And why not? It’s his fault my daughter is missing.”

Bo
“He was drugged to. It’s not his fault. Don’t go in there and start yelling at him about this. It’s just as upset as you are about this.”

Daniel pauses to let Bo’s words sink in.

Daniel
“Fine. I have patience to see anyways.”

Daniel says before walking away. Bo takes a deep breath.

Lexie
“Did you get in touch with Max yet?”

Bo
“He didn’t answer. I left him a message, but he hasn’t called me back yet.”

Lexie was about to say something, but she gets paged.

Lexie
“Sorry, I need to check on this patient.”

Bo
“It’s fine. I’ll check in with the station.”

Lexie
“Ok.”

Lexie says before walking away. Bo’s about to try Max again when Aaron approaches him.

Aaron
“Are you Commissioner Bo Brady?”

Bo
“Yes I am and you are?”

Aaron
“Aaron McCormick. I’m Jamie’s uncle. My niece is dead?”

Bo
“Yes. We found her body this morning. I’m sorry for your loss.”

Aaron
“This is bull. I want my niece’s killer found right now.”

Bo
“My team and I are working on it.”

Aaron
“Is just standing here working on it?”

Bo
“I can assure you, I’m working on it.”

Aaron
“Yeah just like you found Jamie’s husband’s killer and then let her go. That makes a lot of sense. Maybe we should be questioning her.”

Stephanie comes around the corner and sees Bo and Aaron talking.

Aaron
“What’s her name? Stephanie Johnson?”

She pauses for a moment then hides around the corner.

Bo
“It was in self dense. I already explained this to Jamie.”

Aaron
“Whatever. I’ll find out who did this to my niece and make them pay.”

Aaron says before walking away. Bo takes a deep breath.

Bo
“Today, today.”

He says to himself. Stephanie flashes back to her fight with Jamie briefly then comes back.

Stephanie
“What happened last night? How did Jamie end up dead?”

Melanie attempts to free herself, but to no avail so she begins to scream for help.

Melanie
“HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!”
Suddenly, a man appears in the shadows.

Man
“Oh shut up already.”

Melanie
“Who…who are you? What do you want with me?”

She asks frighten.

Man
“To make you pay for what you did.”

Melanie
“What did I do? Who are you?”

Man
“You’ll learn…in due time.”

He said before walking away.

Melanie
“No…don’t walk away. Come back. Let me go. Let me GO!”

She yells.

Phillip and Tyler play some football as Mimi watches on. Tyler tackles Phillip. They all laugh. Not too far away, Chloe and Nicole are chatting and catching up at The Brady Pub.

“I can’t believe you got stabbed.”

“Me either.”

They’re silent.

Nicole
“I can’t believe that EJ still loves me.”

Chloe
“Do you love EJ?”

Nicole pauses.

Nicole
“A part of me does, but a part of me loves Brady too. What am I going to do?”

Chloe
“You should start by getting a DNA test. Then this way you know who the father is at least.”

Nicole
“Yeah, you’re right.”

Chloe
“Maybe it’ll help guide your heart as well.”

Nicole
“Maybe so.”

Nicole pulls out her phone.

Nicole
“I’m going to set up a time right now to get this done.”

Nicole calls University Hospital to get an appointment for her DNA test then calls EJ and Brady to meet her at the hospital. A few hours later, Nicole arrives at the hospital. EJ is close behind followed by Brady and Arianna. Nicole gets mad.

Nicole
“Why is she here?”

Brady
“Because she’s my wife and this outcome affects her as much as it affects me.”

EJ
“Arianna has no place here. This is between you, Nicole, and me.”

Nicole
“Thank you EJ.”

Brady
“Of course he would agree with you.”

Dr. Walters interrupts.

Dr. Walters
“Hello. Ready for the DNA testing?”

EJ
“Beyond ready.”

Dr. Walters
“Then let’s get to it.”

Nicole, Brady, and EJ submit their DNA for testing then await the results. Meanwhile, Chloe enters the park to meet up with Phillip who’s spending time with Tyler and Mimi. She walks up to see them laughing and having fun. She feels upset as she rubs her belly. She snaps out of it, puts on a smile and walks over to them.

Chloe
“Hey.”

She says. Mimi, Phillip, and Tyler look over at her.

Phillip
“Hey gorgeous.”

Phillip says as he stands up and hugs her briefly.

Chloe
“Looks like you guys had some fun.”

Phillip
“Yes we did.”

Chloe
“That’s good.”

Mimi
“Yep, but now it’s nap time.”

Tyler
“No.”

Mimi
“Yes. Let’s get our stuff and go.”

Tyler
“Ok.”

Phillip
“We’ll see each other another time.”

Tyler
“Ok.”

“High five.”

Tyler gives Phillip a high five before he and Mimi leave the park. Phillip gives Chloe a kiss.

“I see you had fun with Tyler.”

“Yep he’s a great kid.”

“Cool.”

“So how was your day?”

Chloe
“Good. I hung out with Nicole.”

“Cool how is she doing?”

“Great. I guess. She’s getting the DNA test done today.”

Phillip
“Oh great.”

Chloe
“Yeah and she found out that EJ loves her and she realizes that she loves him as well.”

“Oh well that’s even greater.”

“I guess.”

“Well I hope the test goes the way she wants it.”

Chloe
“Me too.”

“So what do you want to do?”

Chloe
“Idk we can…”

Phillip and Chloe get interrupted by Phillip’s phone. He checks the ID.

Phillip
“So, gotta take this.”

Chloe
“Ok.”

Phillip
“Hello? Yes. Really? Ok, I’ll be right there.”

Phillip hangs up.

Chloe
“Sounds important.”

Phillip
“It is, I have to go to the office for a little bit, but I’ll meet you at home later.”

Chloe
“Sounds good.”

Phillip and Chloe kiss briefly before Phillip take off. Back at the hospital, Nicole, EJ, Brady, and Arianna await the DNA test results.

Nicole walks over to EJ.

Nicole
“Can we talk?”

EJ
“I already know you want Brady to be the father.”

Nicole
“I don’t care if Brady’s the father or not.”

EJ
“But you’re so in love with Brady and could care less about me.”

Nicole
“I do love Brady, but he doesn’t love me the way I love him. It’s a waste of time going after someone who doesn’t want me when there’s someone who wants me and he’s standing right here.”

EJ
“Are you saying you want to give us another chance?”

Nicole
“Yes I do. No matter the outcome.”

EJ is shocked. Brady looks suspiciously at Nicole and EJ. He’s about to walk over when Arianna walks up.

Arianna
“Hey. Did you get the results yet?”

Brady
“No not yet.”

Arianna
“Good. I want to be here when you get the news.”

Arianna holds Brady’s hands as they smile at each other. They’re interrupted as Dr. Walters comes out with an envelope in hand.

Dr. Walters
“I have the results.”

Brady
“Let’s have it.”

Dr. Walters opens the envelope and pulls out the results. He looks them over then looks up at everyone.

Nicole
“So, who’s my baby’s father?”

Dr. Walter smiles.

Dr. Walter
“Congratulations….EJ DiMera, you are the father.”

EJ smiles. Arianna breathes a sigh of relieve. Brady and Nicole look at one another. Nicole walks over to him.

Nicole
“Well you’re free from me. I’ll leave you and…”

Nicole looks over at Arianna.

Nicole
“…Arianna alone.”

Arianna
“Good.”

Arianna smiles as Nicole turns away and walks over to EJ. Dr. Walters hands the DNA results to EJ and Nicole.

Dr. Walters
“Congratulations guys.”

EJ
“Thank you Dr. Walters.”

EJ smiles as Dr. Walters walks away. He then looks at Nicole.

EJ
“So we’re going to be parent again.”

Nicole
“Hopefully with a better outcome.”

EJ
“Of course.”

Nicole
“I’m ready to go home and talk.”

EJ
“Me too.”

EJ holds his arm out.

EJ
“Shall we?”

They lock arms as they walk pass Brady and Arianna and out of the hospital.

Arianna
“Well they seem happy.”

Brady
“Yeah they do.”

Brady says sadly.

Arianna
“What’s wrong?”

Brady
“Nothing.”

Arianna
“Did you want to be the father?”

Brady
“I just…I liked the idea of maybe being a father even though Nicole was going to be the mother.”

Arianna
“Oh.”

Brady
“But this is a good thing. Then this way you can be the mother of my child.”

Arianna smiles.

Arianna
“I would like that.”

They kiss.

Brady
“Are you hungry?”

Arianna
“Yes.”

Brady
“Let’s go have a romantic dinner at Chez Rouge.”

Arianna
“I love the sound of that.”

Brady and Arianna hold hands as they leave the hospital.

Nathan is attempting to leave his hospital bed, but is stopped by Stephanie.

Stephanie
“You can’t get out of bed.”

Nathan
“I need to find Melanie. Not that you care.”

Stephanie
“My uncle Bo is handling it and I do care.”

Nathan
“Yeah right.”

Stephanie
“Melanie and I have our differences, but I don’t wish her harm.”

Nathan
“Whatever. Go away.”

Stephanie
“I was just checking on you.”

Nathan
“Well you see me. Now leave.”

Stephanie
“Fine.”

She turns to walk out of her room. Nathan walks behind him the pushes her out. She turns around to face him.

Stephanie
“So rude. I was just trying to see if you were alright.”

Nathan
“Again I’m fine. I just need to find Melanie.”

Stephanie
“Well good luck. I hope you don’t keel over.”

Nathan
“Again, whatever.”

Nathan walks slowly to the elevator. Stephanie follows him. He gets to the elevator then presses the down button.

Stephanie
“You’re so rude and I shouldn’t care, but you should really get some rest.”

Nathan
“I will not rest until Melanie is back with me safely. Now please, please go away.”

Nathan says as the elevator opens up. Suddenly, Stephanie gets pulled in by a masked assailant . Before Nathan could get in, the doors close. He rapidly hits the down button with no success. He moves as fast as he can towards the stairs. Inside the elevator, Stephanie desperately tries to get away from her assailant. She kicks him just as the door opens. She rushes out into the parking garage as her assailant rushes after her. Nathan rushes out of the stairwell. He attempts to stop the assailant, but he knocks him out. Stephanie stops and turns around to help Nathan. The assailant grabs her then stuffs her and Nathan stuff them in the back of a van then drives off. At the Kiriakis mansion, Aaron shows up to speak to Victor.

Henderson
“Sir, Alex Santiago for you.”

Victor
“Bring him in.”

Victor finishes his drink as Aaron walks in.

Henderson
“I will be on the other side of the mansion if you need me.”

Victor
“Very well.”

Victor says as Henderson walks away.

Victor
“What can I do for you Mr. Santiago?”

Aaron/Alex
“I just wanted to let you know in person that I don’t want to work with you. I picked a different supplier.”

Victor
“Let me guess, Stefano DiMera.”

Aaron/Alex
“How do you know that?”

Victor
“Because I know that snake was trying to get you before I could.”

Aaron/Alex
“Well he got me and you didn’t. It was a pleasure talking business with you.”

Victor
“Well it no pleasure for me.”

Aaron/Alex
“Why do you have to be like that?”

Victor
“Like what? Get the hell out of my house Aaron McCormick.”

Victor yells as he pours himself another drink.

Aaron/Alex
“What did you call me?”

Victor finishes pouring his drink then looks at Aaron.

Victor
“You heard me. I know all about you and it’s only a matter of time before Stefano knows and maybe even worse EJ. Then you will be the one on the losing in. Alex Santiago. Ha, nice name.”

Victor chuckles then takes a sip of his drink. Aaron gets mad then pulls out his gun and points it at Victor. Then pulls the trigger. Victor falls to the ground. Aaron walks over and looks down at Victor’s body as he begins to bleed out.

Aaron/Alex
“I always get the last laugh.”

Aaron smiles as he puts his gun away then walks out of the mansion. Across town, the assailant arrives at an abandoned warehouse. He gets out then opens the back and pulls Nathan out throws him on the ground. Stephanie sits back in fear. The assailant holds out his hand for Stephanie to take. She swallows hard then scoots towards the end of the van and takes the assailants hand. He helps her out of the van. The assailant then kicks Nathan.

Stephanie
“Please, don’t hurt him.”

She yells. The assailant looks at Stephanie.

Stephanie
“Who are you?”

She asks nervously.

Assailant
“Help him up and follow me. Then all your questions will be answered.”

Stephanie kneels down to help Nathan help. They both get to their feet then follow the assailant further into the warehouse. They soon see someone laying on the ground unconscious.

Nathan
“Melanie?”

Stephanie
“Oh my gosh.”

Nathan limps over to Melanie. He falls to the ground near her and holds her in his arms.

Nathan
“What the hell did you do to her?”

He yells. Stephanie glares at them then looks at their assailant.

Stephanie
“Tell us who you are now.”

She demands.

The Assailant
“As you wish.”

The assailant takes off his mask. Stephanie’s shocked.

Stephanie
“Oh my gosh. Owen?”

Owen
“Yes it’s me baby. I missed you.”

Stephanie panics. Chloe is talking with Phillip on the phone as she arrives at the Kiriakis mansion.

Chloe
“Yeah I just got home. Hurry up. I’ll be waiting. Bye.”

Chloe hangs up with Phillip as she walks into the living room. She’s checking her messages when she trips and falls. She’s shocked when she sees Victor on the ground.

Chloe
“Oh my gosh. Victor!”

She screams. She crawls over to him and checks his pulse.

Chloe
“Oh good, you’re still breathing.”

She crawls over to get her phone to call 911.

Chloe
“Hello? Yes. Um…Victor Kiriakis has been shot. I think. He’s bleeding a lot.”

The 911 operator gives Chloe instructions to help Victor. She grabs her scarf and puts it over Victor’s bullet hole and applies pressure on it.

Chloe
“Come on Victor, you don’t die on me.”
Back at the warehouse, Owen tries to hug Stephanie, but she takes a step back.

Owen
“What’s wrong? Didn’t you miss me?”

Stephanie
“Why would I miss you? You kidnapped me and kept me in a morgue.”

Owen
“But I took great care of you.”

Nathan
“What the hell did you do to Melanie?”

Nathan yells interrupting. Owen stares angrily at Nathan.

Owen
“Who the hell cares about that bitch? After all that she’s done.”

Nathan
“Don’t call her that you psycho.”

Stephanie
“Wait.”

Stephanie says as she turns around.

Stephanie
“It was you. You were the one that attacked everyone?”

Nathan pauses.

Owen
“Well of course.”

Stephanie
“But why?”

Owen
“It was all because of you.”

Stephanie
“Me?”

Owen
“Yes all these people hurting you. I had to make them pay.”

Stephanie stares confusedly.

Owen
“Vivian Alamain. She poisoned Chloe Lane’s mind and made he think that Daniel Jonas cheating on her with his baby momma Carly Manning. So I decided to poison her. Then I hit Phillip Kiriakis over the head because he played mind games with you Stephanie and Melanie. Stabbed Chloe because her baby is the reason why her affair with Phillip got exposed. Too bad I missed that baby. Then I drugged Nathan and Melanie. Making them weak and vulnerable like they made you Stephanie. I kidnapped Melanie because without her around, your live is so much better. I was going to come after you next, but that blonde chick was attacking you so I had to take her out. Then get rid of her body.”

Stephanie
“You killed Jamie?”

Nathan
“Jamie?”

Stephanie
“She was Eddie Saunders’s wife.”

Owen
“Oh yes Eddie Saunders. I forgot about him.”

Stephanie
“What do you mean?”

Owen
“I killed him too.”

Stephanie
“I thought…”

Owen
“You killed him? No. He got up after you left. I went to see you and there he was in your apartment gloating how he was going to get you in bed. So before he could leave to go after you, I did what any normal person would and killed the jerk.”

Stephanie
“Normal people don’t kill people. Eddie was jerk, but didn’t deserve to die.”

Owen
“Yes he did and I killed him.”

Owen reaches behind him and pulls out his gun. He points it at Nathan and Melanie.

Owen
“And now I’m going to kill the two of them then we can run off together.”

Victor is rushed into the hospital with Chloe close behind. Lexie rushes over to check on Victor.

Lexie
“Let’s get him into the OR.”

They roll him towards the OR. Chloe takes a deep breath as Phillip rushes in.

Phillip
“Chloe!”

He yells as he rushes behind her. She turns around.

Phillip
‘What happened?”

Chloe
“Somebody shot your father.”

Phillip
“What the hell?”

Chloe
“I just found him on the ground. I applied pressure to his wound. I hope it was enough. I’m so sorry.”

Chloe starts to cry.

Phillip
“It’s not your fault. It’s whoever shot my dad’s fault and I’m going to find them and kill them.”

Phillip and Chloe hug. At the warehouse, Owen points his gun at Nathan and Melanie.

Owen
“Time to say goodbye.”

Stephanie
“Wait.”

Stephanie shouts. Owen pauses.

Stephanie
“You can’t kill them.”

Owen
“Why not? You hate Melanie and Nathan broke your heart.”

Stephanie
“So what? That doesn’t mean that you should kill them.”

Owen
“Of course it does.”

Owen starts to walk towards Nathan and Melanie. Stephanie grabs him and turns him around and pulls him into a kisses causing him to drop his gun. Nathan rushes over and grabs the gun. Owen pushes Stephanie away and stares at Nathan who points his gun at him.

Owen
“So you’re going to shoot me know?”

Nathan
“Maybe, maybe not.”

Owen
“You don’t have the balls.”

Nathan puts his finger on the trigger as Owen jumps on him. Nathan drops the gun. Stephanie grabs it as they roll around on the ground. Owen ends up on top and starts to punch Nathan.

Stephanie
“Stop it or I’ll shoot.”

Stephanie yells. Owen looks up at her as she points the gun at him. He stand up and walks over to Stephanie.

Owen
“You wouldn’t shoot me.”

Stephanie
“Yes I will.”

Owen slaps Stephanie then takes the gun for her. He points it at Nathan on the ground.

Stephanie
“NO!!”

She shouts as the gun goes off. Stephanie beings to cry. Owen drops his gun on the ground then falls down. Stephanie stares in confusion. Then she hears “Got him.” She turns around and sees Bo standing there.

Stephanie
“Uncle Bo.”

Shawn walks over, kicks Owen’s gun away from him, and checks his pulse.

Shawn
“He’s dead.”

Shawn confirms. Carly rushes in.

Carly
“Melanie!”

She yells as she rushes to Melanie’s side. Bo hugs Stephanie as Maggie rushes to Nathan’s side.

Stephanie
“How did you guys know where to find us?”

Bo
“Nathan called me.”

Nathan
“Yeah I just dialed him. Once we got here.”

Bo
“Yeah I heard everything. I was able to track him from the call.”

Maggie
“Oh goodness. You all could have been killed.”

Nathan
“I’m fine Grandma.”

Carly
“Thank God.”

Carly and Bo look at one another. Nathan and Melanie were rushed to the hospital to get checked out. They laid side by side in an exam room. Nathan gazes at Melanie as she opens her eyes. She looks at him.

Melanie
“What happened?”

Nathan
“We were drugged, kidnapped, and almost killed.”

Melanie
“What? Seriously?”

Nathan
“But we’re fine now.”

Melanie
“Aright then.”

They smile at one another. Stephanie walks in and interrupts.

Stephanie
“Sorry to interrupt.”

She says as she walks up to the stretchers.

Nathan
“It’s fine.”

Stephanie
“Melanie, you’re awake.”

Melanie
“Yeah. I seemed to have missed all the fun.”

Stephanie
“Yeah. I just wanted to say that I wanted to apologize for everything that I’ve done. I hope that after everything that’s happened in the last few weeks and especially today, we can call a truce.”
Nathan and Melanie look at one another then at Stephanie.

Melanie
“I think that’s a great idea.”

Stephanie
“Really?”

Nathan
“Yes.”

Stephanie walks between their stretches. She kneels down beside them and holds their hands. On the other side of the hospital, Lexie comes out of the OR to give Phillip and Chloe an update on Victor.

Phillip
“How is he?”

Lexie
“The surgery was a success. Victor is going to be just fine.”

Phillip and Chloe breathe a sigh of relief.

Phillip
“Thank God.”

Lexie
“Yes. Thank him and Chloe.”

Chloe
“Me? You operated on him. I just did what the 911 operator said.”

Lexie

“Can I see him?”

Lexie
“Sure, you both can go in.”

Lexie states as she walks away.

Phillip
“Will you come in with me?”

Chloe hesitates.

Phillip
“Come on, he’s probably still out of it.”

Chloe
“Ok.”

Chloe takes Phillips hand as they head into Victor’s room. As they walk in they see Victor hooked up to machines. They walk up to his bedside as he opens his eyes.

Victor
“Phillip?”

Phillip
“Yeah it’s me, dad.”

Victor looks over and sees Chloe.

Victor
“What’s she doing here?”

Phillip looks over at Chloe then back at Victor.

Phillip
“She saved your life.”

Victor
“What?”

Phillip
“She applied pressure to your wound and called 911 to get you here in time for Lexie to operate.”

Chloe swallows hard as Victor stares at her.

Phillip
“Isn’t there something you want to say?”

Victor pauses as he continues to stare at Chloe.

Victor
“Thank you Chloe.”

Chloe’s shocked.

Chloe
“Um…you’re welcome.”

Victor gives her a small smile.
