SYDNEY'S BEDROOM
Sydney was lying on her bed. She heard a noise and got up.
VOICE: Sydney.
SYDNEY: Who's there?
Sydney looked around and the ghost of Marlena appeared.
SYDNEY: Grandma?
MARLENA: Hello, Sydney. We have something we need to discuss.
SYDNEY: Grandma, I need you! I can't do this without you!
MARLENA: I know that this will be hard. But you can do it. You're stronger than you think.
SYDNEY: But what am I supposed to do? Who am I going to talk to?
MARLENA: You can talk to Ceri and your mother and grandfather and Lucas and Dr. Adamson. They will always be with you.
SYDNEY (crying): I miss you.
MARLENA: I miss you, too. But we will see each other again one day.
SYDNEY (crying): I love you.
MARLENA: I love you, too. I love you so much, Sydney. It will be okay. You'll be all right.
Marlena's ghost started to turn translucent. Soon, she disappeared all together.
SYDNEY (crying): Please...you can't go.
MARLENA (VO): Sydney, I haven't gone anywhere. I will always be here. I will always be with you in your mind and in your heart.

1 Year Later...

WILL AND SONNY'S HOUSE
GRACE: So, what happened then?
WILL: Sydney started seeing Dr. Adamson once a week. I talked to her This morning and she's started feeling a bit better about everything.
Will looked at his watch.
WILL: But now, it is time for you to be in bed. It's late.
GRACE: Okay. Thanks for telling me about it. Night.
WILL: Night.
Grace went off to bed. Will got out a book of photos and started flipping through them. The last one he looked at was a family photo of him, Sonny, Allie, Sydney, Lucas, John, and Marlena. Will smiled. He put down the book and turned out the light.
