I wonder if Bo will be the one that killed Stefano? That would be a great send-off for Bo. He can go to prison a hero, and that leaves the door open for Bo to return after serving his time. That would be really good!!! I wonder at some point if PR will ever return?? RKK is an ok Bo, but PR will always be the only Bo for me |

I just told Angela the other day Bo should be the one that killed him. It would be a great story for him. The other soaps do stuff like that all the time...Days needs to follow suit and put "beloved" characters in very tough situations.

I hope they give him a good exit. I'm just anxious to see what kind of a storyline Hope is going to have now that Bo is gone?

Peter Reckell just gave his goodbye speech on twitter to his fans. This speech is so sad. It is going to be so hard to see him leave the show. peterreckell: Days of Our Lives has been my home, My life, for almost 30 years. Bo Is a character that developed From my soul, And has touched many lives, peterreckell: But none more than my own. I took my place in the hierarchy of the show,in the storyline, moving others aside, in the eighty's. peterreckell: Now others have moved into the place I once held. I have been very fortunate to have had such a long, meaningful,run. peterreckell: But now, with a torn heart, I have to say goodbye to the people, family, the character, that I love.You have to know this has not been easy. peterreckell: You are the reason DOOL is still standing and will continue for years to come. I had read somewhere that Peter wanted to move away from California. This probably was another reason he didn't sign.

We haven't gotten official word yet so I'll hold off on blaming Days just yet but it doesn't sound like this was about Peter wanting to retire or move away. It sounds like Days "wanting to go a different direction" and Peter coming to terms with it. |

Even though Peter was the one who chose to leave, it does seem like he was pushed out the door just so that Rafe can take over his role as hero on the show. I wouldn't be surprised if Sami and Rafe don't end up being the new Bo and Hope on the show with Tomlin writing for the show again. Safe was always his baby and I bet you as soon as his material starts airing Safe will be starting to reunite especially since Ali Sweeney has been working a lot with Galen Gehrig again. I hate to say this but I also wouldn't be surprised if Bryan Datillo is let go before the end of the year since it seems like Lucas is already being backburnered and BD hasn't been working much. I can't stand Safe and I was really hoping that Sami and Rafe were done with each other for good. Rafe just ruins Sami's character. I would rather see Sami on the backburner with Lucas than be stuck with Rafe ever again.

Bryan has been filming quite a bit so I'm not so concerned about that. I can see Lumi splitting and maybe even a triangle with Safe but my thoughts were more along the lines that because Tomlin knows he screwed up when he fired Bryan last time (and what eventually led to his own firing) and won't be allowed to touch him again so instead he went after Bo. If he can't hand Rafe Lucas' storylines then he'll hand him Bo's (because heaven forbid GT bother to actually put in any effort to develop a character or do anything new). I've been thinking that he might actually even be fool enough to think that he can sell a Rafe pairing with Hope to the audience. He couldn't succeed in replacing Lumi with Safe but that doesn't mean he isn't arrogant enough to still try replacing Bope with Rope.
