Oh, so Canada will have to pay too. And they will be several hours behind the USA who gets it at 6 AM. I don't see that going over very well. They're going to have to stay off social media to avoid any spoilers unless they like to be spoiled.

I have been hearing rumblings that Days is pretty damn popular in Canada.
Just a brief mention. Reading the NBC blurbs for this week I was struck by how ordinary the brief little sketches were as I was expecting some big storyline outline, but I didn't detect anything out of the ordinary except for perhaps one thing which happens on Friday. Seemed a tad askew and possibly VERY strange.
I wonder if that may mean something going forward? Hard to tell of course.
Speaking of these blurbs which are hardly spoilers just faint mentions of things. But I imagine I won't have access to them once they move to Peacock. Maybe the same day blurb but not the full weeks' worth of blurbs. I miss NBC already and they haven't even moved yet. Ha.

Customer Care Line
NBC announced it has set up a new Days of our Lives Customer Care Line to assist viewers with questions and comments as the show transitions to Peacock. The toll-free number is 855-597-1827.

6 a.m. EST? That's 3 a.m. for me. Fortunately, I'm a night owl and am most usually awake till about then anyway. My question is: Will there be a HUGE cliffhanger next Friday to get people to watch come Monday on Peacock? I really hope so because the last few Friday episodes have been "Wednesday-worthy" at best. The answer is YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Wow! Last Days airing on NBC today. I know some of you are saying it’s no big deal but to me it is. I know streaming is the future but this does feel like an ending still. I guess the end of a chapter and not the story.
For oldies like me this last airing on network TV today is still a big deal - even though I usually watch on Peacock now anyway. I do hope the show sticks around on Peacock for a long time still. I’m not ready to see it go completely.
BTW - there are some other really good shows I’ve found on Peacock. Maybe we should start a Peacock thread for good finds.

It felt weird deleting Days from my DVR list.

As the bewitching hour approaches all I can say to echo today's opening NFL week is------ FUMBLE.
On Friday they thought it was a good idea to throw in a collage of upcoming scenes that screamed spoilers. Some of us do not want to see spoilers. Instead of whetting my appetite it killed the moment.
Secondly, I looked up the Peacock listings on my cable. Not one DAMN WORD about the premiere. No mention of Days except that their "Beyond Salem" series is still available.
Are you kidding me. Why not a flashing ad mentioning Days new home tomorrow. Unreal.
I figure I will have trouble accessing the show. It takes a long while to load Peacock and even if I figure out how to get to it, I just see me losing the first five minutes of each show as I wait for it to load. It happens to me every time I tune into a Premiere League soccer match.
Maybe just my rookie jitters but why in hell isn't Days mentioned on the Peacock page on my cable TV?

For those out there who are out to lunch like me when it comes to this stuff a word of advice.
I have accessed today's show and watched a couple of minutes so far. I will keep it on my favorites list because I don't want to have to go through what I had to do to get to the show every day.
I still couldn't find it on the Peacock page, and I have no idea why they haven't highlighted the show. If anyone knows differently let me know.
Instead, I had to scroll through the TV shows (On Demand) starting with the letter D. It still took a while even though you would think Days would be near the top. Be patient you will get there but don't get it confused with "Beyond Salem." Punch it up and then wait a bit for it to load.
The description of the show is included but again unlike with NBC I don't think there is a way to get a week's worth of show blurbs in advance.
Why they are going the needle in a haystack approach makes no sense to me.
Good luck.

Day 1 and I am loving it so far. horizon, what I did was use the search feature. Just put the word Days in the search and it comes up. Click Days of Our Lives tile and you get the episode guide. I bookmarked the episode guide to easily find it going forward. I actually added it to my bookmarks bar for even easier access.

I was about to suggest the same thing Kpatch. I watched at 9 AM this morning! It was nice to be able to watch in the morning when I have a busy day ahead. I can't get Peacock on my TV but my dad thinks he might be able to plug his computer into the TV so that next time I can watch on there instead of my laptop. No complaints though. It worked perfectly Sterling tried to bat at the computer just as Ava said No on screen and he stopped. Lol

I have never really paid much attention to the search feature. Might have been first time I used it. But my biggest problem now is dealing with the frame rate of streaming. I am very dizzy now so not sure I will be able to watch the show without getting ill. What a bad turn of events.

I’m loving the new way of watching Days. New morning ritual - coffee while doing Wordle, watch Days.

Am I the only one who is upset about the change to Peacock?? I live on a tight budget and refuse to pay anymore for what was somewhat free. DOOL was the only soap I've watched for 50 years. And now I have to lay out money for it. I do pay for Netflix now, but that is the only vise on TV I will pay additional for. Guess I will have to wait for your comments to keep up or just look for similar shows on Netflix. Thanks for listening to my rant.
