I found a way to watch Peacock on my bedroom TV which is not a smart TV. I don't know if this will work for anyone else.
I have a 30 year old TV in my bedroom that still works great. I have Comcast cable hooked up to it. The cable remote is a voice remote. I tell it to play Peacock and it does.
If you have Comcast or one of the other cable services that provide Peacock and a voice remote it's worth a try.

She forgot the Deveraux family.
And I consider it an insult to Ted and Betty Corday and the Horton family that she ends the list with "and most definitely the Evans-Black family."

I wonder if Deidre Hall came up with the message on her own or was she given a script.
Her message was moving.

Unconfirmed but last I heard is the show will be available every weekday at 6:00AM EST. That is a good thing, but time will tell on that no pun intended.
Other news for our panicky diehard Canadian fans they will still be able to watch the show via their network system. Again, I am hearing this but can't fully confirm it.

6 a.m. EST? That's 3 a.m. for me. Fortunately, I'm a night owl and am most usually awake till about then anyway.
My question is: Will there be a HUGE cliffhanger next Friday to get people to watch come Monday on Peacock? I really hope so because the last few Friday episodes have been "Wednesday-worthy" at best.

6 a.m. Apart from one recent Friday I agree Friday's have been underwhelming for quite a while now. The standard thinking is next week they are going to as they say, "Pump Up the Volume." It would be a shock if they didn't have a huge, frenzied Friday NBC "finale." I also believe as a metaphor for them leaving NBC that a strange and possibly eerie mist will land on Days. Until yesterday's episode, which upset me, I was looking forward to this final march. Now I am a little apprehensive thinking Days might be heading into areas that I don't like at all. Granted it isn't like anything like being cancelled. I remember the horror, anger and sadness from fans when "All MY Children" finished up. The rug was pulled out from under them, and ABC didn't give one toss. They replaced it with some cooking show or something. NBC is replacing Days with yet another news show as if we need another one of those. Another step towards draining the soul out of the public's imagination. But I expect some extraordinary sadness to weave its way through the storylines next week as well, another metaphor for leaving NBC as an acknowledgement that yes, some fans will forever be left behind. Cue the Smiths song "Unhappy Birthday" off of their last studio album. www.bing.com/videos/search?q=the+smiths+unhappy+birthday&docid=608048042496435330&mid=B29BB691734AF116F8B7B29BB691734AF116F8B7&view=detail&FORM=VRAASM&ru=%2Fvideos%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dsmiths%2Bunhappy%2Bbirthday%26FORM%3DHDRSC3

Sounds like Canadians will also have to pay. "Days of our Lives is Moving to W Network in Canada By JEEVAN BRAR of TheTVWatercooler Corus Entertainment announced on Friday, September 2, 2022, that Days of our Lives will be moving from Global TV to W Network in Canada, beginning Monday, September 12, 2022, where it will continue to air at 1 p.m. ET/PT." According to the article, "Days of Our LIves will continue to air on Global TV" but Global has been picked up by W. Seems like it's nothing more than a switch in cable providers, though I'm not Canadian so maybe some of our friends from Canada can explain.

They will be putting it behind the paywall. Global TV is broadcast over-the-air for free. W Network is available only via a subscription service provider. "Canadians will continue to be able to stream Days of our Lives on STACKTV, and through the Global TV app, albeit with a cable subscription to W Network. On Demand episodes will also still be available through cable providers."
edited for clarity about "paywall"
