HOPE - Hey how did tying the lose ends on the DiMera case go?
SHAWN - Hey they are pretty much tied now ISA have taken over
HOPE - Oh right
(Claire walks in)
CLAIRE - Damn straight to voicemail again
SHAWN - Hey Clairebear you ok?
(Claire walks over and hugs Shawn)
CLAIRE - I'm fine
HOPE - You still trying to get on Ciara?
CLAIRE - Yeah and I'm sorry I have had no luck
HOPE - It's not your fault
CLAIRE - Yeah it is if I was with her that night this wouldn't off happened

SHAWN - Hey Ciara
(Shawn stands up)
CIARA - Hey!! Didn't know you were back
SHAWN - Just got in half an hour ago
CIARA - Oh ok. I will leave you to it
CLAIRE - I will go. You need some time with your Brother
SHAWN - Claire before you go tell me what's with the tension and what's going on with Ciara
CLAIRE - Chase
CIARA - He raped me
(Claire walks away)
SHAWN - What?
CIARA - Yeah
(Roman brings Ciara a black coffee over)
CIARA - Ok I can think probably now I have a coffee into me
SHAWN - When did this happen?
CIARA - Months ago about three
SHAWN - Why didn't you tell me or Mom?
CIARA - I couldn't Shawn
SHAWN - So you thought getting drunk and dancing on bars was better?
CIARA - Who told you?
SHAWN - I was there when Belle was talking to Mom
CIARA - Right

Aww Shawn and Ciara. This is the kind of bond I wish we got to see with them. Great job!! I like this story so much already. The writers on the show really dropped the ball with Ciara's rape story and I am glad you're trying to give her and her family the justice they all deserve.

SHAWN - I should off being there for Ciara
HOPE - Look don't beat yourself up you couldn't off known
SHAWN - But I should off
HOPE - She begged me not to tell you
SHAWN - Why?
HOPE - I'm guessing because of how protective you are off her and she didn't want you to worry
SHAWN - It's my job to protect her and be there for her now that Dad's gone
HOPE - I know. Look all you can do is be there for her now
SHAWN - You're right

Love watching the family interact. I get that Shawn feels good l guilty for not protecting Ciara, but how could he have known?
