HOPE'S HOUSE
(Ciara is still in the bathroom and the door is locked)
HOPE - Come Ciara talk to me please
(Door opens and Claire enters)
CLAIRE - You ok Grandma Hope?
HOPE - She's being in there for over a hour
(Claire bangs on the door)
CLAIRE - Ciara it's Claire
(Ciara is sobbing)
CIARA - Claire I'm fine go away
CLAIRE - No you're not
HOPE - Claire's right
CIARA - I am fine leave me alone
CLAIRE - I wish she would talk to us
HOPE - Me too
CLAIRE - I will call my Dad
HOPE - Thanks he will get her talking him and your Grandpa Bo have the magic touch and can get through to her
(Claire walks away)
(Parallel l between Claire and Shawn at Police Station)
SHAWN - Hey Sweetheart
CLAIRE - Hey. You busy?
SHAWN - I'm at work. Are you ok?
CLAIRE - I'm fine its Aunty Ciara
SHAWN - What's wrong?
CLAIRE - She won't talk to me or Grandma Hope and has locked herself in the bathroom
SHAWN - I'm on my way
CLAIRE - Ok see you soon

(Shawn runs in and sees Claire and Hope)
SHAWN - I got here as fast as I could
HOPE - Thank you
CLAIRE - We might leave you to it
HOPE - Good idea and hopefully you can get her talking
SHAWN - I will do my best
(Claire and Hope leave)
(Shawn bangs on Bathroom Door)
SHAWN - Ciara it's Shawn
CIARA - They called you?
SHAWN - They are worried and so am I
(Ciara opens the door and they sit on couch)
CIARA - I will be fine in time
SHAWN - I know you will. You are so strong
CIARA - I hope I will be fine before six months
SHAWN - Why six months?
CIARA - Because that's when my baby will be due
SHAWN - You're pregnant?
CIARA - I think so
SHAWN - You should talk to Aunty Kayla she will understand
CIARA - I know she will. I thought I might hold off until after the trial tomorrow
SHAWN - I get that but we should go before it to put your mind at ease
CIARA - You're right
SHAWN - How are you feeling about the trial anyway?
CIARA - Nervous and hoping for a good outcome
(Shawn and Ciara hug)

HOPE'S HOUSE
(Kayla walks in and sees Hope,Shawn,Ciara,Claire,Belle,Roman,Abe,Theo and Justin there)
KAYLA - How are you feeling about today?
CIARA - Nervous
KAYLA - Look Ciara is it alright if we have a chat?
CIARA - Of course
HOPE - Is everything ok?
SHAWN - I'm sure it's fine Mom
CIARA - Shawn do you mind coming with us?
(Ciara,Shawn and Kayla walk into Ciara's Bedroom)
KAYLA - Look I rushed your results
SHAWN - Thank you for doing that for us
CIARA - Yeah Thank you
KAYLA - It's alright. Now Ciara just remember we all are here for you every step of the way
SHAWN - She's right we are
CIARA - I'm pregnant aren't I?
KAYLA - Yes
(Shawn and Ciara hug and they walk downstairs and everyone heads to Court)
(The last Witness we would like to call to the stand is the Victim herself Ciara Brady)
(Ciara walks up to the stand and takes Oath)
JUSTIN - So Ciara did Chase give you any indication that he was going to take things as far as he did?
CIARA - No he didn't if he didn't I wouldn't off allowed it
JUSTIN - So what happened when he did?
CIARA - I said no and I kept saying no
JUSTIN - What happened when you said no?
CIARA - He kept going even though I asked him to stop
JUSTIN - No further questions your honour
JUDGE SHEPHERD - Ok do you have any questions for this Witness Mr Willis
MR WILLIS - Yes I do
(Mr Willis walks to the stand)
MR WILLIS - So Ciara is it true that you were close to my client?
CIARA - Yes we were close I mean not at first but yes eventually he became a friend
MR WILLIS - Is it true that you said you loved my client before he started kissing you?
CIARA - Yes but I meant that I loved him as a Brother. My Mom and His Dad were together.
MR WILLIS - Until your Biological Father who had being missing in action killed my clients father
JUSTIN - Objection relevance
JUDGE SHEPHERD - Over ruled any other questions
MR WILLIS - No your Honor
JUDGE SHEPHERD - We will have a ten minute recess while the Jury make their verdict
(Everyone exits room)
BELLE - How are you feeling?
CIARA - I'm ok
CLAIRE - You're so strong
THEO - She's right
HOPE - You're the strongest person I know
SHAWN - I think it was harsh he brought up Dad though
ROMAN - That was not fair
(Justin walks over)
JUSTIN - Sorry to interrupt
CIARA - It's ok
JUSTIN - First you did really well considering what he said
CIARA - Thank you. I just hope we get the outcome we want
JUSTIN - Well let's find out the Jury have made their decision
CIARA - Let's do this
BELLE - It will be fine
(Shawn walks next to Ciara and they all enter the room)
JUDGE SHEPHERD - Has the jury reached a verdict?
JUROR 1 - On the charge of the rape of Ciara Brady and we find the defendant Chase Jennings guilty
JUDGE SHEPHERD - Case adjourned
CIARA - Thank God
(Ciara hugs Justin and Hope does the same and everyone walks out of court relieved)

At least Chase was found guilty but sad Ciara has to live with the reminder of it in the form of a baby unless she decides on another option. Either way, good story. I hope someday you can do a sequel or a one shot to catch us up on Ciara's journey. Well done.
