THE SAFE HOUSE
There’s a knock at the door. Philip puts Wesley back in his playpen and listens for the pattern Bo told him about. Two knocks, two knocks, one knock. That’s it! Philip goes to the door and slowly opens it. Chloe is standing outside.
Philip: Chloe.
Philip takes her hand, pulls her inside and closes the door. He clutches her to his body and holds her close. She feels so good in his arms that he doesn’t care if she’s still mad at him.
Philip: Thank god you’re here. Are you okay?
Chloe: I’m fine. Where’s Wesley?
She sees him in his playpen and the little boy’s face lights up as she picks him up and hugs him.
Chloe: Hello my sweet little angel. I missed you so much. I had to come see you.
Philip: I was hoping … you missed me too.
Chloe puts Wesley back in his playpen and walks toward Philip.
Chloe: Of course I did.
She puts her hand on the back of his neck and pulls him into a kiss. Then she leans her head on his shoulder and hugs him as he takes a deep breath and puts his arms around her.
Chloe: Can you forgive me?
Philip: What for?
Chloe: For being irrational. For jumping down your throat. For not appreciating you. For walking out on you.
Philip: Yes, yes, yes, and yes. You were just scared. That’s understandable. But you’re here now. That’s all I care about.
Chloe: I know you did what you thought was the right thing to do, Philip. And it probably was. And whatever happens now, so be it. As long as we’re together, that’s all that matters.
Philip: That’s right. We’ll face this together, Chloe. Everything together.
Chloe: All I know is I can’t face anything without you. I love you.
Philip: I love you more.
Chloe: I seriously doubt that.
Philip: Thank god.
They kiss.

I am so glad that it was Chloe and that she knew the knock. I wonder how she found out where the safe house is and what the knock was. Had tears when they said they loved each other. Thanks for the great start to the day Kpatch.

I am guessing Bo & Hope either found Chloe or Chloe knew to find them...At least now Philip can help also protect her.

Yes I love my Phloe they are so hot and so in love! This chapter was great glad they found Chloe. But how did they find her? Who told her about the safe house? Can't wait to read MORE!
