At last! The story you’ve all been waiting for. The continuation of the Phloe saga that started with All My Exes and left off with Passions will continue on Monday. It’s been 7 months since the last chapter of Passions was posted (on July 25th). Thank you all so much for your patience. I hope you will find it was worth the wait, as the story continues. A brief refresher on each of the previous stories in the saga is below. If you haven’t already done so, please read the prequels before reading Twist of Fate: 1. All My Exes myhourglass.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=newkpatchfic&action=display&thread=51&page=1Philip and Chloe’s marriages had broken up due to the fallout from the one night stand, and in the course of Philip spending time with his godson Parker, they discovered that Philip was Parker’s father and Philip and Chloe fell back in love and got married. They renamed the baby Wesley, the last name of Chloe’s parents, Craig and Nancy.

Their search leads them to Belize and, as the story ends, Philip remembers being married to Chloe. 5. After finding Wesley, Philip plots revenge on the people who planned his and Wesley’s kidnapping and made it look like they died. He locks Victor, Kate, Vivian and Gus in a small cinder block building in Belize, with nothing to eat but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I'm thrilled to see what happens next to Phloe and Wesley. I love the "trilogy" so I can hardly wait to read more. I highly recommend all of the above fics and the fabulous video. Thanks for the info Kpatch.

Kate: Help, someone help me. I can’t breathe.
Victor: Help me, I’m having a stroke.
Kate: My lung cancer is back.
Vivian: I’m drowning.
Victor: Help, we’re dying.
Philip’s eyes flew open out of a deep sleep and he found himself face to face with the darkness. Just like last night. And the night before. And the night before that. And every night for the past 2 months. The first couple months after he and Chloe brought Wesley back from Belize, Philip was able to put them out of his mind. His family was home safe and the people responsible for the hell they went through were getting what they deserved. It was the perfect revenge and it actually felt good. Philip felt like he and Chloe and Wesley were being vindicated by this action. Kate and Victor and Vivian and Gus were locked away in a 20x20 cinder block structure in Belize. They were dining on peanut butter and jelly three times a day and likely hurling insults at each other left and right. After a while they probably decided to join forces and plot some new revenge on Philip’s family. Plotting and planning was probably the only thing that kept them sane – considering they were already insane. Joe, Titan’s retired pilot and Philip’s most trusted henchman, kept tabs on them from time to time, but the foursome couldn’t get out unless Philip gave the order. And now that it was almost 6 months since he put them in that hell hole, the guilt weighed heavily on him and the nightmares were a nightly occurrence.
His father used to chastise him for having a conscience. “Where did that come from?” Victor often asked Philip. Philip sometimes wished he didn’t have a conscience so he could sleep through the night. If he was more like either Kate or Victor, nothing would faze him.
He looked over at Chloe, who was sound asleep. Chloe knew her husband was carrying a burden and she worried about him. She also knew it had to do with his parents and they had both agreed that she was safer not knowing the details. So she didn’t press.
He never intended to leave them there for this long. But the more time that passed, the more dangerous it would be to release them. “Release them.” Like animals from a cage. Fierce animals that were angry and ready to attack. And kill. Philip was afraid. Afraid to leave them there. And afraid to let them go. Afraid for his wife and afraid for his son. So he continued down the path of least resistance, which was to do nothing.

Yay! So glad Phloe is back. I am scared for them though. Phillip was not so smart to do that and he just can't leave them there.

Poor Philip. He should not even be thinking about them. They sure did not think about them and the baby when they took them away from Chloe. I think Philip got the perfect revenge. Thamks for the chapter Kpatch.

Oh Philip I know they deserved it but I'm happy Philip has a conscience that proves that he's nothing like his parents I can't wait to read MORE!

FRIDAY MORNING AT THE LAKE DISTRICT HOUSE
Philip is in his bedroom dressing for work while the rest of the family is still sleeping. He’s straightening his tie and putting his wallet and keys in his pocket when he feels something pull him backwards. Chloe has grabbed him from behind and pulled him onto the bed. She plants a big wet good morning kiss on his lips.
Philip: Mmm. Good morning, beautiful.
Chloe: Good morning yourself. You don’t have to leave yet, do you?
Philip: I sort of do.
Chloe: But you’re the boss. Who’s gonna yell at you if you’re late?
Philip: Marie. Marie keeps me honest.
Chloe: She’s too efficient for her own good. So … do you have an early meeting?
Philip: No, just work piling up that I didn’t get to because of yesterday’s meetings.
Chloe: Did you sleep okay last night, honey?
Philip shrugged.
Philip: You know. Like usual.
Chloe: I wish you would tell me what’s got you wrapped so tightly.
Philip: I can’t. You know I can’t.
Chloe: I know. But I wish you could. I’m here for you. You know that, right?
Philip: Thank you sweetie. I do know that.
Chloe: I know something that I could do that might help you unwind.
She kisses him as she fiddles to unbutton his shirt.
Chloe: You are most definitely overdressed.
Philip: You’re pretty frisky this morning.
Chloe: Got a problem with that, soldier?
Philip: Um. No. And I’m having a hard time focusing on much of anything while you’re wearing this flimsy little nightgown.
Chloe: It’s called a baby doll and it’s the same one I was wearing last night.
Philip: Heh. I seem to remember that I liked it last night too.
Philip’s body has decided that he would be late for work today, so he kisses Chloe while he loosens his tie and unbuttons his shirt. Chloe pulls the tie off his neck and flings it to floor. Their lips barely lose contact the whole time Philip is losing the rest of his clothing.
Philip: Mmm. Baby. Doll.
He slips his hands up under Chloe’s baby doll, caressing her body from her front to her back as he lays her on the bed.
Philip: Hard and fast? Or slow and easy?
Chloe: Surprise me.
