When I think about Elvis, I'm picturing something different all together.

LAKE DISTRICT HOME

Philip pulls his car into the garage and gets out of the car quickly. He’s practically been holding his breath the whole drive home and he won’t exhale until he sees Chloe and Wesley. He started to phone her from the car to make sure she’s okay, but he worried that she would hear the panic in his voice which would cause her to panic too. Chloe was nothing if not a worrier.

He went into the house and immediately called her name.
Philip: Chloe? … Chloe? … Chloe!!
Chloe walked into the foyer holding Wesley.
Chloe: Philip! What are you doing home?
Philip exhaled and put his arms around the both of them.
Chloe: What’s the matter? You’re scaring me. You look awful.
Philip: I need to tell you something. Let’s sit down.
Chloe: Now I’m even more worried.

They sit down on the living room sofa. Philip takes Wesley out of her arms and holds him on his lap.
Philip: It’s about my parents. And Vivian and Gus.
Chloe: Oh. That reminds me. Did you hear about the hurricane in Belize? It’s been all over the news this morning.
Philip: I know. Chloe, when we left Belize … I had the four of them locked up in a storage room.
Chloe: What??? Locked up? What do you mean?
Philip: I mean imprisoned. Cut off. Penned up. No windows. No outside communication. Rationed food and water....
Chloe: For how long? … For how long Philip?
Philip: Ever since we left Belize. I never let them out. And now, the building has been destroyed in the hurricane. I don’t know if they’re dead or alive, and no one will be looking for them because no one even knows they’re there.
Chloe: Oh my god.
Philip looks at Wesley and tears fill his eyes.
Philip: And the worst part is that I don’t know whether I’m hoping they’re dead or they’re alive.

I'm glad he told Chloe so that finally shoudl would understand what's been bothering him but also now she knows how much danger they could be in.

I would say that given her past I hope she doesn't go & do something stupid but since jkjpatch is writing her, I'm sure she will write her smarter than that...

Poor Philip, he is so conflicted! Thank goodness he confided in Chloe. Hopefully she can help him deal with all this...Can't wait to see how the Belize crew made out.

Chloe is quiet for a long while as she listens to Philip explain what he did to his parents, and to Vivian and Gus. She finally speaks.
Chloe: I’m speechless. What were you thinking?
Philip: What was I thinking? I was thinking I wanted to kill them, but I came up with a decent alternative instead.
Chloe: Decent? How is this decent? It’s like prodding a bull or teasing a wasp. They’re going to come out fighting, Philip. They used to only hate me. Now they hate you too. There’s no telling what they’ll do to us. We’re doomed. Our lives are over.
Philip: That’s a little dramatic.
Chloe: Is it? Really? They’re insane, Philip. They torture and kill people. And because they’re lunatics, they do it in the name of love. We’re not going to have a moment’s peace for the rest of our lives … if we live that long. If they’re alive …
Philip: They might not be.
Chloe: If they’re alive, they’re going to come after us with a vengeance. And if they’re dead … we’ve got Stefano to contend with. He was married to Kate. He actually liked her. <shudders> He’s going to figure it out, Philip. It’s over. It’s over.
Philip: No it’s not. Joe is looking for them and he’s an ex-Marine, so …
Chloe: So what? What’s he going to do if he finds them? Is he going to singlehandedly corral them and pen them up again? Why, Philip? Why did you do that?
Philip: Like I said, I wasn’t about to murder my own parents, no matter how tempted I was. Come on, Chloe, you knew I did something drastic to them and you were fine with not knowing. Remember?
Chloe: I had no idea you had done something so stupid.
Philip: Okay, if you’re so smart, tell me. What would you have done?
Chloe: I’m not sure. But I would have thought it through. We both know them well enough to know that they’ll only come back stronger. Give Wesley to me.
Philip: Why?
Chloe: We have to leave.
Philip: I agree. Let’s get out of here.
Chloe: Not “we.” Me and Wesley.
Philip: Excuse me?
Chloe: You’ve put our lives in more danger than we were in before. Give me my son.
Philip: No. You can’t leave alone. It’s not safe.
Chloe: Well it’s definitely not safe here anymore.
Philip: Chloe, if you leave, I can’t protect you.
Chloe: Because you’ve done such a great job up to now.
Philip: Chloe!
Chloe: I can’t believe this is happening. After everything we’ve been through together. We were finally happy. Finally living the life we wanted. And now …
Philip: Chloe, look at me.
Chloe: And now it’s over. I have to go. I have to leave.
Philip: Please Chloe, don’t leave. I love you.  … You’re supposed to say “I love you more,” remember? That’s our “thing.”
Chloe looks at Philip, her body rigid with fury and steely anger he’s never seen in her eyes before.
Chloe: I’m not sure how I feel about you right now, Philip. All I know is I have to get out of here.
Philip: Fine. I’m not gonna beg. If you have to go, then go. But you’re not taking Wes with you. He’s staying with me.
Chloe: I’m not leaving without him.
Philip: And you’re not leaving with him. It’s your choice.
Chloe: Oh, I see what you’re doing. You think if you don’t let me take him, I won’t go either. Well you’re wrong. With or without him, I’m leaving.
And with that, she left.

Poor Philip. I don't get Chloe all she wanted was to be with Philip and their son. I thought she would stand by him. Thanks Kpatch. Previews please.

I can't blame Chloe for being angry. I feel kind of bad for Philip but he had to know this was coming.
