I think we'd all like to just forget about Rex and Cassie. The show certainly has.

The only reason I remember Rex is because he was HOT.

Loved Hope saying quite The Twist of Fate. I'm glad that Philip turned to Bo and Hope for help. Hopefully they will find Chloe soon.

Love that Philip went to his brother and sister in law for help. So like Hope to finish what other people are saying. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch.

BO AND HOPE’S HOUSE THE NEXT MORNING Philip is in Bo and Hope’s kitchen feeding Wesley when Hope comes in. She smiles and starts playing with Wes. Hope: Hi there Wesley. It’s so nice to have a baby in the house again. [She turns to Philip.] How are you doing? Did you sleep? Philip: Not really. I’m not a good sleeper anyway and now … Right now it feels like I stepped into a big black hole and there’s no way out. Hope: I know it feels that way now, but things will get better. You just need to have patience. Philip: I’ve never been a patient man. Any word about Chloe? Bo enters the kitchen. Bo: Not yet, but I put out an All Points Bulletin. We’ll find her. The safe house is set. Let’s go. You too Hope.
THE SAFE HOUSE
Bo, Hope, Philip and Wesley have arrived at the safe house. It’s a small cottage about 60 miles north of Salem with two bedrooms, a fireplace in the living room, and a kitchenette. Philip: Not exactly the Kiriakis mansion. Bo: You complaining? Philip: Absolutely not. This is great. And there’s even a crib and a playpen. Bo: Thank Hope for that. She reminded me that you’d need them. Philip: Thanks Hope. Bo: The refrigerator is stocked with some basics, and there’s a lot of canned and jarred foods in the pantry. Hope: Including Beechnut baby food that’s appropriate for Wesley’s age. Do you like Skippy Peanut Butter? Philip laughs. Bo: Something funny? Philip: Not funny, just ironic. Payback’s a bitch. Bo: Meaning? Philip: I locked up my parents and Vivian and Gus, and now I’m “locked up” in a similar situation. Only this place is about a million times more luxurious. Bo: Here’s a cell phone. It’s a secure line. But there’s no internet. It’s self-contained so it can’t be traced. You understand? Philip: Yes. Hope: Bo, we should get going. Bo: Hope is right. Listen, somebody’s going to look in on you once every two or three days, see if there’s anything you and Wesley need. I’ll come as often as I can. Here’s the signal. Two knocks, two knocks, one knock. Got it? Bo raps on the table to demonstrate the knocking pattern. Philip: Got it. Bo: Okay, good luck man. Bo hugs Philip and heads for the door. Hope gives Philip a hug and kisses the baby. Hope: Philip, I want you to be prepared … it’s going to start to feel really lonely in here after a while. You’re going to start to think that everyone has forgotten about you. But they haven’t. Just remember that we’re out there and we’re going to keep you guys safe, okay? Philip nods. Philip: Just find Chloe. Please.

Poor Philip. It is going to feel like a long time that he is in the safe house. I have TV, Internet and still find it long that I can't just get up and go. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. I really feel for Philip.

I'm glad that Philip and Wesley made it to the safe house. I hope Chloe is found soon. LOL at the Skippy peanut butter... Philip's right about payback. I wonder what Wesley thinks about his new "home".

THE COP SHOP
Brady: Bo, I need to talk to you. I want to report a missing person. Bo: Who? Brady: Philip. He left the office three days ago and he disappeared. I haven't been able to reach him. Or Chloe. Bo: And you waited three days to report this? Brady: I didn’t want to jump to conclusions. I mean… Philip and Chloe have been known to have some lost weekends and I figured they just wanted their privacy. But it’s Monday and he didn't show up for work. Bo: It’s okay. We’re handling it. Brady: What does that mean? Bo: It means exactly what I said. We’re handling it. Brady: Is Philip in trouble? Wait. This has something to do with the hurricane in Belize, doesn’t it? Bo: Brady, I would suggest … Brady: It was right after Philip read the telegram from Belize that he flew out of the office. Bo: Look Brady, it would be in everyone’s best interest if you didn’t give this any more thought. Do you understand me? Brady: Sure. I understand. Bo: Brady. Don’t go doing anything stupid. Brady: Don’t worry, Uncle Bo. I’ll leave that up to the Salem PD.
THE SAFE HOUSE
Philip and Wesley have been in the safe house for three days. Philip would rather be out looking for Chloe, but right now his first priority is to keep Wes out of harm's way. The two of them are learning to like soap operas and enjoying spending some father-and-son time. Philip is teaching Wes about sports, women, business and finance, and imagining that his son understands every word he’s saying, even though Wesley is a few months shy of his second birthday. Philip: I read an article in the Wall Street Journal the other day. It said that Xerox is making a comeback and if you look at the price-to-earnings ratio, I’d say it’s a good bet. Wesley looks at Philip through the screen of his playpen. The little boy knits his brow as if he’s giving Xerox some serious consideration as a future stock buy. Wesley: Muhmuhmuhmuhmuh. Philip picks Wesley up and kisses him. He’s struck by how much the boy looks like his mother. Philip: You miss your mom, don’t you, kiddo? I do too. Remember how I was telling you about the way to handle women? Well, do as I say and not as I do, because I’m on my third marriage and I still don’t have the first clue about how to handle women. There’s a knock at the door. Philip puts Wesley back in his playpen and listens for the pattern Bo told him about. Two knocks, two knocks, one knock. That’s it! Philip goes to the door and slowly opens it.
