HORTON TOWN SQUARE
Kate is sitting at a table awaiting the arrival of her son when she sees him walks over
KATE - Austin
(Kate stands up and walks over to hug him)
AUSTIN - Hey Mum
(The pair sit down)
KATE - Where's Carrie and Noah?
AUSTIN - We didn't want to pull him out of school and Carrie has a big case
KATE - Right
AUSTIN - How's Lucas?
KATE - He's taking it a day at a time but it isn't easy
AUSTIN - I can imagine
KATE - Yep
AUSTIN - I'm sorry I couldn't be here for the funeral
KATE - I know
(Jennifer walks over)
JENNIFER - Austin Hey
AUSTIN - Hey Jen
(The pair hug)
KATE - How's Abigail doing?
JENNIFER - She's struggling
AUSTIN - Her and Will were always close
JENNIFER - He doesn't know does he?
KATE - No
AUSTIN - What's wrong with Abby?
KATE - The guy that killed Will
AUSTIN - The serial killer Ben Weston. What about him?
JENNIFER - Abby was dating him
(Austin looks shocked)
AUSTIN - Oh My God
JENNIFER - Yep
AUSTIN - I have to see her
JENNIFER - You will catch her at home
(Austin runs off leaving Jen and Kate there)

ABBY - Coming
(Abby walks over and opens door)
ABBY - Austin
AUSTIN - Abby
ABBY - I didn't know you were in town
AUSTIN - Yeah just got here
ABBY - I'm surprised you came to see me though. I figured you wouldn't want to be near me due to our history
AUSTIN - I had to see you
ABBY - Come in
(Austin follows Abby in to the Living Room)
ABBY - So why did you have to see me I mean have you seen your Mom and Uncle Lucas?
AUSTIN - I've seen my Mom and your Mom
ABBY - My Mom?
AUSTIN - Yeah they told me
ABBY - About how I was dating the guy that killed Will
AUSTIN - Yeah. This can't be easy
ABBY - It's not. Why does my life always have to complicated mind you it's about to get more complicated
AUSTIN - You're life is just crazy not complicated and what do you mean is about to get more complicated?
ABBY - I'm pregnant Austin and Ben's the Father

Ooh, I like this already. I loved the original Austin/Abby storyline actually. I am that rare fan who ships Mike/Carrie so Austin/Abby also works for my purposes. I even have an Austin/Abby story floating around out there somewhere. Great job. Keep going please.

I also like Carrie and Rafe as well, almost as much as I did Carrie/Mike. So, we have Lumi, Aubby and Cafe in common. Pretty cool.
