AUSTIN - You're life is just crazy not complicated and what do you mean is about to get more complicated?
ABBY - I'm pregnant Austin and Ben's the Father
HORTON HOUSE
AUSTIN - Oh My God
ABBY - That's how I feel and the first three words I said after finding out
AUSTIN - When did you find out?
ABBY - I took two tests this morning both positive
AUSTIN - I can tell your panicking
ABBY - You know me too well
AUSTIN - Ok let's not panic just yet let's get Kayla to do some blood work first then we panic
ABBY - Austin why are you being so nice to me? Besides you don't have to panic
AUSTIN - Despite everything I still care about you and I am panicking because it can't be easy for you and I am here with you the whole way
ABBY - Thank you and I still care about you too. I am going to call and go Aunty Kayla
AUSTIN - Ok
(Abby steps out of the room and into Kitchen and grabs phone out)
(Parallel Hospital and Horton Kitchen)
KAYLA - Dr Johnson speaking
ABBY - Kayla it's Abigail
KAYLA - Hey Abigail. Everything Ok?
ABBY - I need some blood work done
KAYLA - Why you sick?
ABBY - I think I'm pregnant
KAYLA - Ok I can see you in ten minutes if you like
ABBY - Thank you and can you not tell anyone?
KAYLA - I won't. See you soon
ABBY - Thanks
(Abby walks back in to Living Room where Austin is on his phone)
AUSTIN - How did you go?
ABBY - She can see me in ten minutes
AUSTIN - Would you like me to come with you?
ABBY - Are you sure?
AUSTIN - Of course
ABBY - That would be great
(Abby and Austin walk into the Hospital and see Kayla waiting at Nurses Station)
KAYLA - Hey Abigail
ABBY - Hey
AUSTIN - Hey Kayla
KAYLA - Your brother said you were coming in to town
AUSTIN - Yeah
KAYLA - I'm surprised you're here though
AUSTIN - I'm supporting Abby
KAYLA - Ok let's go then
(Kayla and Austin enter room with Abby and Kayla takes blood)
HORTON HOUSE
(That Night Jennifer, Abby and JJ eating dinner)
JENNIFER - So how were your days?
JJ - Good
ABBY - It was ok. Nice to see him again.
JJ - Who?
JENNIFER - He told you he saw me?
ABBY - He did
JENNIFER - He was so worried about you
JJ - Who are you talking about?
(Abby's phone rings)
ABBY - Mom sorry I need to take this
JENNIFER - It's ok
(Abby walks outside)
ABBY - Hey Kayla
KAYLA - Hey Abigail. I rushed your results through
ABBY - And
KAYLA - You're Pregnant

AUSTIN - Hey Man
LUCAS - Hey
(Pair hug)
AUSTIN - I wish I could off being here sooner
LUCAS - I know
AUSTIN - How are you?
LUCAS - Taking it one day at a time
AUSTIN - That's what Will would off wanted
LUCAS - Yeah. I actually got a call from Sami last night and I am leaving to go and see her and Allie after this
(Roman brings over their usual orders)
AUSTIN - That will be good. How are they?
LUCAS - Sami is doing the same thing I am and as for Allie that's why Sami called she's struggling
AUSTIN - Poor Allie
(The pair finish up their food and Abby walks over)
ABBY - Hey Uncle Lucas. Hey Austin.
LUCAS - Hey Abigail
AUSTIN - Hey Abby
LUCAS - You guys seen each other before now?
ABBY - Yesterday
LUCAS - Right. I better get going if I am going to get to California in a decent time
AUSTIN - Have a safe trip.
LUCAS - You too. Don't know how long I will be gone for.
AUSTIN - Thanks catch ya soon
ABBY - Safe trip Uncle Lucas say hi to Allie for me. I would get you to say hi to Sami
(Lucas chuckles)
LUCAS - Wise move
(Lucas walks out)
AUSTIN - Do you want to go for a walk?
ABBY - That would be good
AUSTIN - I will just fix up the bill
ABBY - Ok
(Pair walk out of Brady Pub to Horton Town Square and JJ is in distant but they can't see)
AUSTIN - You ok?
ABBY - Kayla called me last night
AUSTIN - And
ABBY - I'm going to be a Mom
AUSTIN - Congratulations
(Austin hugs her and JJ watches)
ABBY - Thank you
AUSTIN - If there's anything you need I'm here
ABBY - Thank you. I have a scan tomorrow can you come only if that's alright?
AUSTIN - Of course I will meet you at the Hospital
ABBY - Thank you
(They part ways)
HORTON HOUSE
(JJ and Jennifer in Living Room)
JENNIFER - You ok?
JJ - Abby clearly has moved on from Ben or was never in love with him?
JENNIFER - What do you mean?
JJ - I saw her and some guy talking and hugging at the square and they seemed quite close
(Abby walks in)
JENNIFER - How was your morning?
ABBY - Good I saw Uncle Lucas and caught up with Austin
JENNIFER - JJ the guy you saw Abby with was a friend of hers
JJ - How come have I never heard of this Austin guy before then?
ABBY - It's complicated and he's home visiting his family
JJ - Well you seemed way to close to be just friends
ABBY - He's married
JENNIFER - And happy
ABBY - They are
JJ - Abby I know your history
ABBY - JJ that's not fair
(Abby storms off)

AUSTIN - Hey
ABBY - Hey
AUSTIN - How are you feeling?
ABBY - Nervous and upset
AUSTIN - You have every right to be but I am here with you
ABBY - It's not just about the scan but thank you
AUSTIN - Everything ok? You can talk to me
ABBY - JJ said something harsh after I saw you yesterday
AUSTIN - What?
ABBY - He was talking to Mom clearly about me and Mom told him once I said to her I seen you the guy he saw me with was a friend and he asked why he never heard of you before and I said its complicated and you're here visiting and he had the nerve to say he knows my history
AUSTIN - Well if he knows your history surely he knows about me?
ABBY - No he was referring to EJ
AUSTIN - EJ
ABBY - Don't ask
(Kayla walks out)
KAYLA - Abigail come through
ABBY - Austin are you ok to come in with me?
AUSTIN - Yeah of course
(Walk in room and Kayla puts machine on Abby's stomach)
ABBY - Oh My God is that my baby's heartbeat
AUSTIN - Sounds like it
KAYLA - Sure is. All seems good with the baby for sixteen weeks
AUSTIN - See stop stressing
ABBY - Ok
(Austin holds her hand)

ABBY - I am relieved the baby is doing well
AUSTIN - A but is coming on. What is it?
ABBY - Austin, this baby needs someone who is a good Mom and that isn't me
AUSTIN - Abby you are going to make an amazing mother I have no doubt about that
ABBY - Thank you
AUSTIN - It's the truth
(Austin moves his chair closer to her and puts arm around her)
HORTON HOUSE
(Abby walks in and sees JJ in Living Room)
ABBY - Hey JJ
(Abby drops bag down)
JJ - Hi
ABBY - You ok?
JJ - No I am not ok because history is repeating it self again. I saw you and that Austin guy again
ABBY - We are just friends
(Jennifer walks in)
JJ - Didn't seem that way
JENNIFER - What's going on here?
ABBY - JJ thinks I'm with Austin
JENNIFER - JJ they are just friends
JJ - You didn't see them at the square Mom
JENNIFER - Abby and Austin have a close friendship and Abby knows there's nothing more to it
ABBY - Yeah JJ. He's just being supportive
JENNIFER - He's always being supportive off you
ABBY - And I am owe him so much for that after all he did save my life twice
JJ - We can support you we are here for you
ABBY - I know JJ and I appreciate that but there's more to this
JENNIFER - You ok?
ABBY - I'm fine

Abigail tells Austin she doesn't feel like she's ready to tell her Family about her pregnancy. JJ and Austin come face to face and he 'warns' him about his Sister. With Austin's support Abigail shares her news to soon to be Nan Jennifer. Austin decides to extend his visit in Salem and tells Abigail Abigail makes a choice regarding her pregnancy |
