SALEM PD
Hope: In my dream last night, Gran said something to me, and her words keep playing over and over in my head. Bo: Like “It’s a Small World After All”? Hope: Exactly like that. Bo: What did she say to you?
***Flashback to Hope’s dream*** Hope: What’s the secret, Gran? Alice: I can’t tell you, my darling. Then it wouldn’t be a secret. Hope: Please Gran. I need to know. This is killing me. Alice: The secret is the key. The key to the secret. Hope: But what does it mean? What does the key open? Alice: There’s no place like home, Dorothy. Hope: And you were there. And you. And you. And you. Alice: Look homeward, my angel. Just look homeward. ***End of Flashback***
Hope: She said, “Look homeward, angel.” Bo: That’s a play by Tennessee Ernie Ford. Hope: You’re thinking of Tennessee Williams, but he didn’t write Look Homeward, Angel. Thomas Wolfe did. Bo: No, Thomas Wolfe said “You can’t go home again.” Hope: That’s right. When did you get so literate? Bo: Since Roman gave me an eReader. Hope: It’s not an eReader. It’s a computer tablet that the taxpayers bought us so we can solve cold cases. Bo: Oh. Hope: No wonder we haven’t solved any of those cases. Bo: Um, yeah. But I’m really enjoying reading Days of Our Lives fanfics over at MyHourglass. Hope: Focus Brady, focus. ... I wonder what Gran meant. Bo: Meant by what?

Auntie Em, Auntie Em!! Too funny kpatch! I always thought it was funny that the police budget is so little yet they can afford tablets for Bo & Hope. NICE!
So Gran seems to be stressing "home" Maybe she means for Bo & Hope to go to their home.. They are always in her home instead???

First off, I love that Bo reads the stories here at MyHourglass! then, I love the fact that Bo thought Tennessee Williams was Tennessee Ernie Ford! This is a great story, jkjpatch! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Bwahahaha. I think my favorite line so far was the one about Hope wearing a bump-it and garish lipstick in the dream!

HORTON TOWN SQUARE
Melanie left the Brady Pub after getting a cup of coffee to go. She walked through Horton Town Square and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw someone she didn’t expect to see. She approached him.
Melanie: Um gee ya well. Oh my freaking lord. What are you doing here? Man: Mel! You’re just the person I was hoping to run into. The man hugged her. Melanie: I thought you were traveling around the world with Mom. Nicholas: I was for a while. When we got to Africa, she wanted to stay and she told me she’d see me back in Salem in a few months. Isn’t she here yet? Melanie: Um gee ya well. No. Nicholas: Hmm, that’s odd.
THE HORTON HOUSE
Alice’s words “Look homeward, angel” in Hope’s dream caused Bo, Hope, Jennifer, Doug, and Julie to search Alice’s house from attic to basement looking for more clues to Alice’s secrets. They frequently stopped to reminisce about the memorabilia they found, and to sing a song or two. But, as for those clues they were looking for, they came up empty. Doug worked to keep everyone’s morale up.
Doug: Who wants Chinese? I’m buying. Julie: Are you ordering from Ed Foo Wong’s? I’ll have the number three. Jennifer: Me too, but I want steamed rice instead of fried rice. Bo: I’ll have the number two. Hope: Order me the number eight.
